Class atmosphere may be upbeat but not very inclusive
I have been taking spin classes for years at various boutique gyms/spin studios in London and loved this workout, so I'm not a newbie. While the front desk staff are Psycle are always smiley and helpful and instructors are certainly enthusiastic and energetic, the actual class doesn't feel very welcoming and can feel quite intimidating, if not also dominated by certain super regulars who love shouting out loud and seem to be the only people the instructors care about. There is never any instruction on how to use the bike and I have been to different classes at Psycle, not just once or twice. The changing/locker space is very cramped with feels like a crowded battlefield before and after a class, with people trying to walk past each other, sit, dry their hair, get changed etc. within a very limited narrow space. Yes the shampoo and hair straightener provided may be designer brand but the user experience overall of the changing room facility and space is not on a par with the premium Psycle branding.
