Expect long periods of radio silence…
Expect long periods of radio silence punctuated by confusing, contradictory updates, if you receive updates at all. Basic inquiries take days or weeks to answer, and when responses do come, they are often incomplete or off-topic, suggesting little to no internal coordination. Critical information gets buried in jargon-heavy emails, while urgent issues are met with automated replies and no real follow-up.
Internally, it seems that personnel are siloed to the point of dysfunction. One department promises one thing, another department denies it, and no one seems to be willing to resolve even simple problems. Meetings feel like an endless game of "telephone," where what you hear depends entirely on who happens to be speaking that day.
In today's world, where clear and timely communication should be a baseline expectation, Proshed Security, who supposed to do document shredding, is decades behind. It's disappointing, exhausting, and ultimately erodes any trust you might have had at the outset.
Unless you're prepared to chase them for answers and manage constant miscommunication, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Excellent Experience
The reason for such an excellent experience with our onsite shredding was the driver. He arrived on time, introduced himself and took the time to explain the process. We have used Proshred for many years, but the driver did not know that. So it was very professional of him to inform us of what to expect. After explaining the process the driver went right to work shredding the many boxes of documents we had. Once done, the driver took me to the truck and pointed out on the display exactly how many bins of documents had been shredded so that we knew exactly what the cost would be for the job done. Throughout the whole process the driver was very up beat and informative. I can honestly say that he is a person that truly enjoys what he does and meeting new people. The driver's great energy and dedication to his job made our onsite shredding an excellent experience.

Great experience. On time. The staffer was helpful. It went quickly and clearnly.
The actual service of shredding our documents was great. Our problems were more "back of house" with scheduling. We received an email from the sales person about a date. But on the original date scheduled for service no one came. We called to find out why and were told by the scheduler they didn't have us listed. We wasted days getting things together and waiting for an event that never happened. It was quite frustrating.

Obed handled our shredding. He was punctual, communicated with us before, during and after he was finished and was very efficient. His demeanor was extremely professional and he was very mindful of other offices in our building! His service was much appreciated.
Process was fast and as quoted
Process was fast and as quoted. Driver went beyond duty to help me since I could not get the documents to the street due to my age. He was able to pull the cart up the hill in the rain from my basement to the street and the truck and never complained about it. He was amazing.
Great service and care
Tried shredding at home but this company did 12 file boxes in the time I shredded 1/2 file box! Will call on them when we need more done next time
