Pro Move Gloucester  Recensioni

From the start I was well informed about the day of removal, I was given good notice of arrival of my kit which had been in storage under the management of Pro Move for 14 months. They collected all of my kit from Cardiff in 2025 and delivered to my new home in 2026 without incident. The team both ends were outstanding, professional and just lovely people who took responsibility of my things like it were thier own. I also found them funny and personable. I have moved many times around the UK and Europe, the team that make ProMove are the best. I will use them again 100%.

Tom and his team were top class ! Nothing was too much trouble. It wasn’t an easy move but they made it “almost fun” and extremely manageable. Great humour throughout and not a single item damaged or broken. Highly recommend! Very best Peter

Tom was very professional and knowledgeable from the moment he came to do a quote for our move. He took the time to make sure he had everything he needed to quote accordingly and to answer any of our questions.
They include all packing materials in the quote for doing a full move, which they then collect back off you once you have unpacked.
We went with the packing service, which was managed well on the day and went without any problems, any questions they had they would ask to ensure we were happy with everything.
The day of moving the guys again offered a great service packing up the rest of our items and then loading the vans. Thankfully we got the keys to our new place early afternoon and they had unpacked and were heading home by early evening. Again making sure we were happy with where things were going, they dissembled and assembled items for us at either end - great service all round.

Brilliant service from the initial clear quote through until the end of the move. Tom went out of his way to make the move a smooth process and was always easy to contact with questions beforehand.

Huge thanks to Tom and his crew for helping us move into our new house.

They worked so hard all day, starting at 8am and not finishing until around 7pm, in 30-degree heat as well. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, even with the long day and the heat.

They took apart and rebuilt furniture for us, kept us updated with what they were doing, and made the whole move feel a lot less stressful than it could have been.

They were also cheaper than other quotes we had, but you definitely wouldn’t know it from the service. Really good value and a proper professional job.

Tom also deserves a special mention for somehow managing to squeeze our washing machine into a very tight space with some questionable but effective hip movement 🤣 and Harry deserves extra credit for doing all of this on his birthday!

Really nice guys, hardworking, careful, and easy to deal with. We’d happily recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Tom impressed me from the start. From the moment he turned up to do the quote through negotiations on services you could offer and not once did we have to have a difficult conversation about what was agreed and what wasn’t because it was really clear from the start. For a Price perspective they were far from the cheapest but however this is a premium service where the customer is very well looked after and no stage. Did I feel concerned about anything that was happening. I was really glad I paid for the expertise when we moved into my new property and it was literally about 2 mm of space to allow my sofa into the property. This is where Tom 16 years of experiencing removal comes In and with his very keen employee Harry, he was also amazing they got it up the stairs with no hassle at all and no damage to the property.

Nothing was too much hassle for them and everything was done with a smile even when it started to rain.

I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone and For me having ADHD having someone that I could trust was really important as well as them understanding some of my needs as well.

The packing service itself is worth every penny as well.

I would hire these guys again at heartbeat And even though I’m two hours away, I would ask him to quote For my next move.

Tom and Harry moved me from Gloucester to Cornwall last year and I honestly dont think it could have gone any smoother
Tom is so professional and calm and made the whole experience so much easier . Not ONE item was damaged and it was all packed to perfection
Such a brilliant service

We hired Tom and the guys to help us move between cities based on a recommendation from a friend. We went for their full packing service and the move. The service was premium! Tom was great at communicating the plans, and was happy to work around our needs, though they were anticipating them before we even had to ask. They all had good humour, doing an excellent job and working hard while being positive with smiles on their faces. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience with ProMove and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

From the very beginning, Tom was fantastic, friendly, down to earth, and really easy to talk to, while still being completely professional. It was clear straight away that he knows his stuff and has a lot of experience. He took the time to come out to the property to assess everything properly and provide a fixed quote, which gave us real peace of mind.

We had originally considered another company, but they charged per item and had strict policies about not taking anything that wasn’t listed, plus reviews mentioned hidden charges. In comparison, ProMove were transparent and flexible, which made the decision easy.

One of the best parts of working with Tom was his suggestion of a phased move, which we hadn’t even heard of before. Instead of trying to do everything in one stressful day, they came a few days beforehand to pack most of our belongings, leaving out essentials. Those items were placed into storage, and then on moving day they packed the remaining essentials and moved everything into the new house. This approach worked brilliantly, we were even able to keep using our chest freezer, which made a huge difference.

Because we moved on a Friday, we had the weekend to start unpacking the essentials, and then the rest of our items were delivered from storage on the Monday. It made the whole process feel far less overwhelming and much more manageable.

Tom, Harry and Junior were fantastic throughout, friendly, chatty, and clearly very hardworking. They were also brilliant with our dog, which made a potentially stressful day feel much calmer and more relaxed.

The team handled everything with great care and respect, and we had a lot of belongings after 9 years in a 3-bedroom house, including a home salon in the garage. They worked incredibly efficiently, packing everything securely and dismantling and reassembling furniture quickly without any damage.

Overall, the whole experience was smooth, well-organised, and far less stressful than we expected. The phased move approach made a huge difference, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ProMove to anyone.

We recently used Pro Move for our house move and couldn’t be happier with the service. From the first contact right through to moving day, everything was smooth, professional and stress-free.

A special mention has to go to Tom, who was absolutely brilliant. He was friendly, calm, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble, and he treated our belongings with real care and respect, which made a big difference on what can be a stressful day.

The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and kept a positive attitude from start to finish. It genuinely felt like they cared about doing a great job rather than just rushing through it.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pro Move to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy removals company — and especially if you’re lucky enough to have Tom helping you move!

Using Pro Move you're not simply just a number but rather the service from Tom and the team is personalised. As a 78 year old moving house seemed daunting. All my stress was removed by their competence and support. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was taken in their stride. I was astonished by their speed and care taken with my personal belongings. Fantastic service beginning to end. 100% would recommend.

Pro Move have moved us from Gloucestershire to Kent this week and they’ve been utterly brilliant. We had to change our dates a couple of times, but that was no problem and Tom and his guys moved us without a problem and always a positive, ‘can do’ attitude. There were no breakages and nothing has gone missing. Thank you, guys - you’re excellent!!

I would highly recommend Pro Move. Professional, hard working, diligent and communicable, nothing was to much trouble for Tom and Harry. They took the stress out of our 130 mile move and delivered everything perfectly. Other removal companies I have used in the past don't even come close to the level of service of Pro Move, and I would definitely used them again.

From the very beginning Pro Move were professional, friendly and had great communication.

Tom came round to provide a quote the very next day and the quote arrived with us that afternoon with us having a quick turnaround for our moving date.

We went with the packing service which saved us so much stress and was packed perfectly with no breakages.

The day of the move was ridiculously hot but the guys worked tirelessly through the day and got us all packed and loaded and unpacked the other end all before 5pm!

They were so friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else, just book these guys!

Absolutely seamless from enquires, site inspection, quotes, supplies preparation, the big moving date , and the afterwards move within the new place . Professional and very helpful with attention to details. Really appreciated and just can’t say enough thanks to Tom and his crew Junior and Harry

Incredible team. There aren't enough words to describe how excellent Tom and Harry were. They went above and beyond to ensure that all our belongings were moved with great care and they anticipated every need. Not only do I recommend them but I wouldn't dream of using any other removal firm in the future.

Pro Move helped us move from Gloucester to Cheltenham and they were brilliant. Tom came round and provided an initial quote and was very accommodating when our moving date kept getting changed! On the day the guys were polite and friendly and worked so hard to get us moved efficiently, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

From the moment we first engaged with Pro Move and Tom in particular, the process was really straight forward and easy. With the stress involved with buying a new house the moving aspect was particularly daunting. The communication was prompt and clear throughout and with the move itself the team were very friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

What can I say, thankyou Tom for being amazing. From booking to end of move Tom and Harry were professional, nothing was too much trouble. Tom was so supportive when our move went wrong and went above and beyond to help us with the situation. I would definitely recommend Pro move thankyou guys

A great move by Tom and Harry. Diligent, very hard working and super organised. They made the whole move day easy for us.
