the address they provide is a complex in california that they’re not even in. it’s fake and the image is off a realty listing ..
They bought my .com domain name and are currently selling it for $300,000. A real joke.
I've been wanting to buy a domain for a couple of decades, but have been unable to because it has been "for sale", though never actually used for a website. I've watched the price go from 30,000 up to over 500,000. Instead of the typical 15 dollar cost, companies like DomainMarket grab up names in the hopes of reselling them for unreasonable amounts of money. "DomainMarket.com domains are carefully selected for branding excellence by the world's top domain name appraisers, so you will only find the most prized and premium assets for sale." When people do this at gas stations, it's called price gouging. It makes being a small business online so much more difficult than it should be. It's wrong.
I own the .ca for my domain, but they bought the .com before I could and have been jacking up the price every year since. They used to send me lots of emails trying to get me to buy it. Their current list price is $59,888. What a joke!
a platform for domain squatters and bad faith registrants.
Watch out for this scam site. I had bought an unique website domain with local .nl for my starting company, after few days when I wanted to buy the .com since it was available before, suddenly DomainMarket bought the domainname .com .. And selling it for 20k. Rip off companies is what they do for a living. Thanks for showing your scam ways of making money, one star from me.
I'm starting a new business. I checked on the name and saw that it was available. It took me two weeks to get all of my licenses and affairs in order before I could start. Now they have my name and want to sell it to me for $9000.
No Thank you. I'll just come up with a new name!!
People on the website chat are very rude. This is just one person trying to get 500 times what they paid for something. It would be great if the registrations were clever or something but they just register a name then try to get $20,000 or so out of even individuals.
If the domains were really worth this much, they'd be bought. This site is just a bunch of greedy people trying to rip you off. If you aren't a buyer, you better not have a question unless you want to be treated rudely.
On various domain selling websites this domain is for sale.
Though somebody is spamming me with an e-mail address with this domain in it.
Beware what you'll buy, if you're considering to buy this domain.
