We’ve ordered branded BIC M10 pens from Printed4U before and the finished pens themselves have always looked good. That said, as BIC manufacture and print the pens, this review is really about the ordering and customer service experience with Printed4U.

Unfortunately, this order felt unnecessarily hard work.
We supplied two versions of our logo - one for a white pen and one for a black pen - as we wanted to compare which combination looked best. We were sent three proofs, one of which used the wrong logo/background combination. Not a major issue, but it was the first of several small things that made the process feel more tedious than it needed to be.

After receiving the invoice, I asked for an online payment link. I then called and asked again and was told someone would be nudged. While still on the phone I received an email response, but it simply attached the same invoice I already had rather than the requested payment link. The link was eventually sent and we paid immediately.

I then asked for a receipt and was told this would be provided. The next email we received was instead asking us to leave reviews. A day later we still hadn't received the receipt and had to chase again.

None of these things individually are a major problem. The frustration is that simple requests seem to require multiple emails or follow-ups, and responses sometimes feel focused on replying quickly rather than actually checking what has been asked.

The contrast is particularly noticeable because our first order with Printed4U was handled by Harry Straw. That order involved several iterations at our request, yet the whole process was straightforward. Harry checked in, made sure everything was right and followed up afterwards. It genuinely felt like the company wanted our business.

The BIC pens are good and we'll no doubt need more in future, but the customer service experience this time has changed our impression of Printed4U. It shouldn't feel like you're inconveniencing a supplier by asking for a payment link or receipt.

Good product, but the ordering experience and attention to detail could be much better.

Another great service - prompt reply to email, answered all queries and turned around in a day. Spencer was really helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend. Have been using for almost a year. The branded products (tote bags, ceramic mugs, note pads, pens) are high quality.

This was a very urgent last minute requirement and Demi, who was my point of contact worked tirelessly to make sure we got these in time. I placed an order for personalised balloons for a Town council ribbon cutting ceremony.
Emails were quickly responded to and delivery only 5 working days from approval. Kerbi in particular was incredibly helpful in assisting with my order.
