SCAM ALERT - DO NOT BUY ANYHTING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I think this business has actually ceased trading sometime during October / November / December 2025, but their website is still open, and taking orders, but they are not delivering any goods.

Currently what looks like a legit website will take your money, but they will not deliver any goods, and they do not communicate with you. This website is now a fraudulent operation.

- Both of their advertised phone lines are disconnected.

- Emails sent to hello'at'premiumslatesuk.com bounce back.

- Emails sent to sales'at'premiumslatesuk.com are being delivered, but nobody is replying.

- Looking at Companies House records, they seem to have a fake director, and their registered address is a residential house in Manchester.

- They claim to have 1,000,000 slates in stock, this is not true, as they do not have any form of trading premises. I suspect this business simply diverts your order through other suppliers at a premium, and they keep the difference as profit. I suspect Premiumslates have run out of cashflow, and not paid their suppliers, and their business model has ground to a halt.

I ordered £5k of roofing products from Premiumslates in December 2025, and they have not been delivered. Premiumslates have not responded to any of my emails, and I cannot call them because they have disconnected their phone lines.

I am now having to recover my money through my bank.

I ordered slates from Premium Slates UK with an approximate amount needed for the job. I was advised that any excess slates could easily be returned for a refund and not to worry.
Once the job was completed and I indeed had several hundred slates left over, I reached out to return them. It has taken months of correspondence to arrange return transport with a palet, but finally the slates were picked up and returned.
That was 4 months ago. I've been ghosted since then with zero response. As far as I'm concerned these are now stolen goods and have reported this company to the police.

The person on the other end of the phone was incredibly supportive and showed up as expected.

Fantastic service throughout our re-slating project - super helpful and responsive both on the phone and by email; helped us choose which grade of the Penrhyn Welsh slate to go for; kept us posted on lead times, and sorted out delivery up to Scotland. Excellent service all round - really appreciated it.

After placing my order, 2 days later I contacted premium slate to ask if I could cancel my order as I had made a mistake. They replied that the ridge tiles were already in transit and there would be a cost to returning them. I asked if they could let me know the cost so I could decide on best course of action. They didn’t reply to that email. I chased again later that day and still no return email. The ridge tiles arrived the next day, and I still haven’t received a reply and now I have £300 worth of ridge tiles that are not what I actually wanted.

A friend introduced me to this business, and after reviewing their website, costumer service and their impeccable services, I would strongly consider using them in the future!

As a videography and photography professional, I have worked closely with Premium Slates on a number of different projects. He is friendly, easygoing and a pleasure to work with. He is dependable and goes above and beyond to ensure that anyone who works for him is appreciated and well taken care of!

Ordered some samples but issue with the postal address meant they were not sent. Called Premiumslates and it all got sorted and they didn’t charge for postage. Great 5 star service! I’m really chuffed!

Ordered 250kgs welsh roof slates to roof a side building. Slates came promptly on a pallet. Pallet was well stacked and no slates were damaged in transit. Well done!

Unfortunately the sample slates I ordered never arrived.

Quick and effective service. The delivery charge however is extortionate for 12 ridge tiles. Something to think about in future perhaps.

Easy ordering as well as prompt delivery all ridge tiles arrived in perfect condition very impressive.
