The mechanic that came was excellent and very helpful even though I was late to the appointment

I cant rate the Pre Inspection Clinic enough. My son just past his test, Adam inspected his first car a suzuki swift. The inspection gave us peace of mind to make the purchase. All that was needed was an alternator which Adam arranged for the seller to do and returned to check it after the repair. This all happened within 24hrs from booking the inspection and us making the purchase…amazing service.

This was my first time buying a used car from autotrader. I was scared and anxious because of the risk that I may get a useless car.

I found pre inspection clinic online and booked the premium service on sunday (2/11) and shobab who normally gets called bobby looked after me.

Initially i was planning to do the inspection on sunday (2/11) and buy this car in windsor. However, i changed my mind because i felt like i was being misinformed by this dealer. I contacted bobby and told him i had to cancel last minute. He was not bothered at all from the last minute cancellation and asked me to keep him updated.

On monday morning (3/11) i found another car from a dealer in derby. I informed bobby that i plan to buy it on tuesday (4/11). At 11 PM on monday evening (3/11), i had to cancel for the 2nd time. I realise i was again misinformed and bobby understands my situation.

On tuesday (4/11) morning. I found this car in birmingham by a private seller via auto trader. I explained to bobby that I want it to buy on that day. He was able to accommodate my request.

I live in milton keynes. Bobby is coming high wycombe and the car is in birmingham. For a little fee, bobby collected me from my house and we drove together to birmingham.

We got to the seller and he did all his checks. The car passed his checks and he also haggled for me to bring the price down by £250. I bought the car and bobby sorted out the ownership transfer paperwork and road tax. He also guided me about tempcover for insurance of my drive home.

I thank bobby for guiding me throughout the stressful process. He was friendly, professional and really made sure that i will not be ripped off.

If you want to buy a used car, i really recommend booking the premium service. I feel safe and reassured ont the road and my mind is at peace knowing that the car i bought passed bobby standards.
