When Kate and I first discussed the possibility of commissioning a painting, my husband and I were experiencing some financial uncertainty. Kate kindly asked when a better time would be to reach out and we reconnected in May. Though I wasn’t the most responsive client at times, Kate provided phenomenal customer service throughout the whole process, being unfailingly patient and understanding with me.

As for the painting itself, I’m in absolute awe of what the artist produced. While the examples on the PortraithyArt website and in other reviews show how exceptionally talented the team is, it’s something else entirely to see your own photograph come to life. I keep looking at the painting and exclaiming, “That’s us!!” The fine details they included really make the image special, and I’m still speechless at how everything turned out. They completed the painting so quickly too, which is all the more remarkable considering everything that’s currently going on in Ukraine.

I have been so pleased with the whole experience working with PortraithyArt that I have shared their name liberally with friends, and plan on working with them again in the future. The hard part is just deciding which photograph to do next!

Kate kept great communication throughout the entire process, even up to the tracking and delivery of the item. She created a piece of artwork using a combination of photos and the result was heartfelt, emotional, and incredible. This is going to be a “for life” keepsake and I am proud to showcase Kate’s work.

I absolutely love this painting! It’s so beautifully done that anyone would think the people in it had sat for hours in the artist’s studio, not that it was based solely on photos, and that the painter had never even met them in real life.

Kate made a fantastic painting for me, I had a few adjustments to make and she was happy to make them and the process was very smooth and easy, this is the second time Kate has done a painting for me and will definitely be coming back for more

Kate was amazing from start to finish. She really understood what we wanted from the painting and reconstructed our image as we had lost a high definition copy.

She was clear in her communications, responsive and kept us updated throughout. She was even kind enough to prompt me to contact the courier when the painting arrived but a small customs payment was needed before they would deliver.

She delivered exactly what we wanted and we will definitely be using her services again in the future.
