We have been clients of WiMAX/Populosos for many years and have recommended friends and clients but now every month we either lose our internet completely or have a very low download speed. We ring and wait... It's gone again this weekend! No sign of engineers who are reputedly coming and no doubt will not be here until at least Monday if then which is what happens nowadays. We have had new router and new LNB which they said would sort it last time (3 weeks ago) but no... Had enough now will be ringing new provider on Monday! It's a good job I have retired otherwise I would be losing clients! Don't bother....

llevo todo el día sin Internet llamo al servicio técnico y me dicen que no les deja conectarse a la antena la he reiniciado según me a dicho el chico y sigo sin Internet, me dice que me llamará un técnico para venir a mi casa y aun sigo esperando a que me llamen y necesito el Internet para trabajar 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😠😠😠😡😡😡 y hoy dia 20 se me a vuelto a ir

Esta compañia es muy efectiva , hace dos semanas huvo un problema tecnico y fueron muy atentos con nosotros, rapidamente estaba resuelto el problema y sobretodo tiene muy buena señal.

Recibo un sms sin identificar, diciendo que si deseo cancelar la portabilidad solicitada (sorpresa, porque YO NO SOLICITÉ PORTABILIDAD ALGUNA), que llame a tal número. Llamo a mi compañía, les explico y me dicen que efectivamente hay una portabilidad solicitada. Comienza la pesadilla llamando de número en número, nadie sabe nada hasta que me presento físicamente en una tienda de mi compañía y me informan de que todo viene de estos tipos. Que llevan así todo el verano. Es decir, en el populoos éste se han hecho pasar por mí, han pedido la portabilidad de mis datos para ellos y como hay un plazo limitado para cancelarlo, si no me entero a tiempo y cuela pues mira qué bien.
En resumen: HAN SUPLANTADO MI IDENTIDAD. Eso es DELITO, señores. No sé quiénes son, pero les deseo lo peor en sus negocios.

Me llamaron y se hicieron pasar por mi compañía móvil, al llevar tantos años con ellos me ofrecieron un descuento en mi factura y yo acepte, lo normal. A los 2 días me quedé sin fijo en casa,llamé a mi compañía y me dijeron que tenía una potabilidad para hacer,me quedé de piedra!. Al día siguiente me llegó la tarjeta sim de estos SINVERGUENZAS yo intenté deshacer la potabilidad pero fue imposible. Así que me volví a cambiar a mi compañía de antes, pero me han ido llegando facturas de ellos que obviamente devolví, y ahora he recibido un mensaje de un bufete diciéndome que pague esas facturas para evitar acciones legales. Ya he pedido que me manden la grabación de voz del contrato, y lo voy a poner en manos de la OCU por suplantación de identidad. QUE HORROR DE COMPAÑIA!!!!!

Paying for a speed of 30 but the most we get is about 8, phone them almost every day and all they do is say the engineer will call!!! One guy even said at least you have a speed of 8. Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid this provider at all costs!
Their practices are shady and deceptive.
Once you're locked into a contract, cancelling is nearly impossible!
They claim you can only cancel on a specific, arbitrary date they set—not three months or four weeks in advance, but just one particular day.
Then they create formal errors, like claiming you didn’t use their form correctly. By the time you address this, the special date has passed, and they inform you it’s too late to cancel, automatically renewing your contract for another six months or a year. This cycle repeats, with new formal errors fabricated each time. They even lie about what they’ve received from you.
The employees at Populoos are Kafkaesque devils from the bureaucratic depths of hell. How are such scammers still operating?

A trap: easy way in. No way out.

Worst!!! Populoos must be linked directly to the devil.

Trying since 4 months to cancel my contract - no way to get out! They are not accepting any of my contract cancellations, inventing each time new missing information or paperwork. It’s a big NO- PLEASE DONT DO IT FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR SANITY to all consumers looking for a new provider. Go pay 2 euros more with a proper provider than having a nightmare on a daily basis!

Contratar: Facil. Dar de baja: PESADILLA traumatizante. Mejor pagar un poco mas con otras compañías y tener paz interior.

Todo perfecto, llame para tener internet y a los dos días ya lo tenía. Personal amable y el técnico instalador muy profesional. Ahora a disfrutar de internet. Recomendable

I signed up for the Vacation Service of Next in 2015 and we had great customer service - the staff were lovely to deal with. In March 2024 we sold our Spanish home and I sent an email to ask to cancel the contract to POPULOOS who had taken the company over. They sent me a form to complete which I did and returned to them.
As with other reviewers I received a bill the following month and phoned as was told that there was an error on the form (because of the 24 hours between emails they said that the form wasn’t valid).
I resubmitted the form and thought that the matter was sorted however the next month another bill arrived. I telephoned again and they wanted another proof of identity in addition to the NIE certificate. I said that the form only asked for an NIE certificate. Today (June) another bill has arrived – I phoned and was told that I had to submit ‘both sides’ of the certificate but it is a one sided document. The person then put the phone down on me!
So I am now in this awful cycle where they send a bill, I contact the contract team by phone, they say to resubmit and then off we go again. Something as simple as this should not be so complicated and stressful.
I have spent hours since March trying to resolve this issue. I dont think that the company are bothered as each month they are getting money despite not providing a service - if hey cared there would be an easy to access Customer Services. I would suggest that you look elsewhere for an internet provider and don’t even consider POPULOOS.

y les quería decir que de momento mi experiencia esta siendo buena y estoy contento aparte una cosa k has llamen estafadores haciéndose pasar por otros eso pasa siempre en todos lados y si pagáis es problema vuestro no de la compañía bueno lo dicho yo satisfecho cuando les e llamado siempre me an contestado la velocidad muy bien todo ok

No dan ni una. me quitan la linea movil de otra compañia hacia ellos ( lo comente antes) , pues a dia de hoy no recibi el porque ,se la llevaron y encima se arregla solo y me llaman a la semana y me dicen que esta todo arreglado ( el que pregunto yo!) si se la llevaron ellos sin mi consentimmiento.
Pues hablo con una persona y me dice no la portes a otro lado quedate y me quedo , el mismo dia de empezar o mejor dicho seguir con ellos . me quedo sin linea total. jajajajaj. vamos son incompetentes total y encima me llaman que ya recuperaron la linea , que recuperaron si no me fui . cuando cumpla permanencia me voy.

Estafadores. Primero se hacen pasar por tu compañía telefónica diciendo que te van a subir 20 euros por mejorar la calidad de la cobertura. Luego te dicen que te va a llamar una compañía telefónica de la OCU para hacerte una oferta telefónica, aceptas como fue mi caso, di mis datos personales y luego se hacen pasar por tu compañía de telefonía en mi caso Lowi para hacerte una contraoferta, cosa que rechacé. Al final de todo hablé con mi compañía que es Lowi y me dijeron que era una estafa, que ellos no me iban a subir la tarifa y que ninguna compañía había pedido la portabilidad , el consejo de Lowi fue que ponga una denuncia en los Mossos d'esquadra por si utilizan mis datos para algún fraude

Llevo diez meses intentando cancelar mi cuenta con Popouloos y, a pesar de enviarles correos electrónicos en diez ocasiones, llamarles tres veces y completar los formularios que me pidieron, todavía me envían una factura todos los meses. ¡La empresa me roba sistemáticamente todos los meses y no puedo hacer nada al respecto!

I was a customer of Next Communication which was taken over by Populous. In June 2023 I attempted to close my account with them and sent an email request. They decided that my email was insufficient and the only way to cancel my service with them was to phone them. So I wasted several hours trying to reach them and eventuality they answered the phone and told me I had to complete a form. I duly completed the form and emailed it back to them as instructed. They sent another bill the following month and I sent the form again. Every month since they have sent me a bill and every month I send an email with a copy of the form. Every month they ignore me. This month my emails were returned as the email address are apparently no longer valid. Meanwhile Populoos continue to take my money every month for a service that was cancelled 10 months ago. I literally do not know what else to do to stop this company systematically robbing me every month. I am writing this review at 4am because I can’t sleep worrying about how to stop this company stealing my money.

¡¡¡CUIDADO ESTAFA!!!

Te llaman haciéndose pasar por tu compañía diciendo que te cambian la tarifa (+60 €/mes + 1 año de permanencia) y que tienes 3 opciones:

1. La aceptas (cosa que obviamente nadie hace de primeras).
2. Dan de baja tu numeración (la pierdes).
3. Simulan que contactan con la OCU para que te llamen Populoos y otra compañía y tienes que contratar en el momento.

Te hacen pasar por unas semanas de absoluto acoso y amenazas de parte de Populoos o sus colaboradores (entre otras que dan de baja tu línea). Entre tanto, la gente de Populoos/colaboradores se hace pasar por tu compañía para tratar de engañarte de nuevo.

CONSEJOS PARA EL QUE PUEDA EVITARSE ESTE INFIERNO:
1. Tu compañía NUNCA va a llamarte de esa forma y con esas amenazas (ni te van a dar de baja la numeración, ni te van a imponer un período de permanencia, etc)
2. Oblígales a identificarse como tu compañía (4 últimos dígitos): tu DNI, tu número de cuenta, tu calle sin número, etc.
3. Si no hay nada por escrito, NO TE FÍES. Todo tiene que estar facilitado por escrito a modo pre-contrato/oferta vinculante.
4. No te creas NADA de lo que te cuenten desde un teléfono cualquiera, si tienes dudas o te suena raro: (i) cuelga y llama a tu atención al cliente para saber que realmente son ellos, (ii) mira en tu app, web de tu compañía y chequea las notificaciones

Espero que se denuncie a todas las personas/empresas que intentan aprovecharse a base de malas prácticas.

Ojalá esto sirva a los demás y no tengáis que pasar por este proceso tan pesado...
