Is it a dragonfly? No it's a shoe!
I love the environmental and ethical shoes that I bought from Po Zu, I also love to hear that the workers are paid fairly.
I have to say that as a person who walks heavily on their heels my feet can feel a little sore after walking in these shoes for a bit, but other than that they're perfect!

In terms of your comments, what shoe was it in particular, as i can see you purchased two different styles, is one style worse than the other or are they both the same.

I love my vegan shoes
I love my vegan shoes. My only complaint would be that they leave my feet a little bit sweaty if I wear them all day at work (14 hour shifts)
However that's a small price to pay for affordable vegan shoes

I think you maybe referring to the Dragonfly specifically when you talk about your feet being a little sweaty?
I have passed your review to the design team here in the UK, as feedback like this is important.
This materials was a new material for us in this specific shoe and we have already adapted the upper for the coming season to incorporate some additional ventilation pockets to hopefully ease this issue, fingers crossed, although 14 hours on your feet!!!!

I took a little while for my sneakers to arrive from UK to Germany (also extra custom costs..) but it was worth the wait. Very comfy, very stylish - I am more than satisfied with my choice of foot wear from Po-Zu!

Our warehouse was at the time of your order in the UK and experiencing massive issues by moving goods from the UK into the EU. It has been an exceptionally annoying period as the courier companies simply ignored the process and simply charged what they wanted to charge the end consumer, its been a nightmare and many businessmen have been affected by this approach.
We had a lady in Holland who ordered one pair of canvas shoes in our sale, which were 30.00 Euro R.R.P. and was expected to pay an additional 70.00 Euro VAT and import duties by a global courier company...... when the VAT is around the 21% mark and there are no important duties at this price level.
Anyhow the good news is that from AW-21 we have a new warehouse facility in Belgium servicing all of our EU customers, with faster deliveries, much better pricing and paying the price you see on the website, with NO hidden additional charges!!!!
Trust me - Its been a difficult 6 months.

Thank you for taking some time to leave your thoughts on T.P.
The Brexit issues lingered on and on for months and caused businesses huge issues, not because of the actual rules set down and agreed between the UK and the EU but the inconsistencies and un-professionalism of the courier businesses.
Everybody knew what was expected, however terms/ rules were ignored, by the largest courier companies in the world and we along with hundreds of other business were literally held to ransom.
An example being one pair of Po-Zu shoes shipped from the UK to Holland R.R.P. 30.00 Euro, the customer was being charged 75.00 Euro to have the shoes delivered, all that was legal here was around 21% VAT, nothing else. That is one example of issues we faced every single week.
Going forwards we hope to have eradicated these issues with opening a small warehouse in Belgium, so no VAT or import duties, simply the price on the site!!!!
I will pass on your kind comments to the warehouse team, as this kind of feedback makes all their hard work worth it!!!

Great service and delivery from a…
Great service and delivery from a sustainable company rated 4/5 on Good On You. I have a pair of shoes made from Piñatex and two pairs of trainers made of eco microfibre and all are beautiful and well made. The Piñatex ones are in their 4th season now and although the material is a little worn, there have never been any issues with the sole breaking or stitching/gluing coming undone. To start with, the trainers were vicious to the back of my heels (I hear you other reviewers!) but I let the cuts heal, and then wore the shoes around the house for a while. They are perfect now. The shoes you recently purchased do take a small amount of time to wear in around the heel counters, (the back of the shoe), thank you for your persistence and lets hope they will remain comfortable now as we know that they do soften up after a few wears.
The design team were made aware of this slight stiffness issue earlier in the season and have already corrected this for the coming new collection with new materials from the same supplier in Sri Lanka.

Brilliant shoes! Bit like Vans but with that all important ethical edge. The footbed is coconut matting, the sole is sustainable rubber not plastic (I think) Comfortable too

Great quality but a bit stiff
These are lovely quality and the soles are quite comfortable, however the material is quite stiff and I still can't wear them without blister plasters on the back of my heel.

Please accept our apologies that these shoes have caused blisters this is not our goal i can assure you. The issue is that until the blisters have healed there is very little you can do in terms of wearing them in.
We have received mixed feedback to be fair surrounding this model and the feedback has all be passed through to the design team and our supplier, with recommendations made and implemented for next season, SS22.
We have received a handful of comments that the products did wear in after a handful of wears, so fingers crossed.
Have the shoes been worn outside or just inside?
Are you referring to the women's or the men's version as i see you purchased two pairs in the summer promotion?

I ordered the VIM Women's Black boots
I ordered the VIM Women's Black boots. I chose this style due to the water resistant feature. I am most satisfied with these boots for walking in town. Our part of town does not have sidewalks, so the grass is damp in the morning when I walk my dog. For walking in the dog park with heavy dew or rain, the water resistance is not enough to keep socks dry. (So these work best when wearing in town/city wear.) I chose this company also due to their eco focus and commitment to fair compensation and treatment of people making the shoes.

Amazing customer service and product!
My first time ordering shoes through Po-Zu and highly recommend! The website was easy to use and prices good! They were having an issue running out of a specific colour of shoe I had ordered and they offered me a free pair of shoes to make it right! Unbelievably great customer service!
Shoes need to be worked in but very comfy, fit to size. Love the style and fair trade aspect. Telling all my friends 🙌
