Delighted with the service and the results
I have thought about recovering my couch for many years but with a new extension having been built this became the perfect time to change colours and revamp. Barbara your Sales Rep called and helped us with fabric choices and colour ways to complement our new room. We also decided to get made to measure cushions for our dining chairs. The whole thing took 3 months to complete totally. Gary the fitter came and cut material to fit the couch and within 3 weeks had them back made up which I was delighted with. It has made a huge difference to the really comfortable but tired couch which now has a new lease of life. The cushions arrived this morning and again delighted with the workmanship and fit. I would highly recommend the company, forget the stretchy fitted covers of old, they are a company that you need to consider if reupholstering or loose covering your couches. They did a great job. As far as we are concerned it was worth the cost and we did not need to recycle a well made Duresta couch.

A Very satisfactory outcome from a very simple mistake.
I had a set of loose covers made for two sofas which I wanted a piping edge in forest Green. The order went through absolutely perfectly, I had had the rep out. However , in my opinion very stupidly, they have two colours, forest, green and green forest.!!! very different colours mine came back with the wrong colour green and therefore had to go back to being remade which they did perfectly.
Both Janet, the rep and Stephen at plums were extremely helpful.
Obviously, this all took extra time, which was a little frustrating but understandable.
Although it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
Yes, I would recommend them again.

Your agent, Anne Good on her home visit explained the different choices and also any problems that could arise. She took detailed measurements and today has fitted our new stretch covers which fit perfectly. Well done Plumbs.

Cherry was lovely and efficient
Cherry was lovely and efficient. she communicated well and didn't give me any pressure. she's a great ambassador for Plumbs.
The covers fit very neatly. I'm sad that the cotton ones (which I'd had sometime previously), were now completely out of my financial reach. these are far more difficult to take on and off for washing, - have to tip them up and deal with all the elastic, and I think they would immediately melt if anything hot even briefly touched them. They are not as robust for general living, but are more for show. I like the look of them, but they are not really up to general family living. I'll probably need to put the old, and tattier, ones on for the wintertime... and save these for 'best impressions' and summertime.

We were clearly informed of all available options with advice given without pressure at each stage. Shocking service/workmanship
My grandma used Plumbs to cover her 2 seater sofa a couple of months back. The cover provided is a complete mess and the material is bunching around the arms with one side not fastened down at all (can provide photos on request). My grandma paid £1402, which is absolutely disgusting for the workmanship provided. She did attempt to contact Plumbs customer service but was told if she wanted to return the item they would only refund her £700 and she would have to pay for the return postage. They also offered to send someone out to her to have a look at the sofa but this never materialised. This company have completely taken advantage of my grandma who is 83 and vulnerable.
Edit: I have noted your response and I'm not sure how you have managed to justify the quality provided. I have sent you an email with pictures showing the poor quality workmanship.

Following a thorough assessment of the case, including a review of the quality control photographs provided by our Technical Team, we have concluded that the covers are fitted correctly and meet our manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
I would also like to reassure you that we would never seek to take advantage of our customers. We offer a completely free, no-obligation home consultation in the comfort of our customer's homes, allowing them the opportunity to view samples, discuss their requirements in detail, and make an informed decision without any pressure to proceed.
I understand that this may not be the outcome you or your grandmother were hoping for, and I appreciate how frustrating this situation must be. However, based on the evidence available and the findings of our Technical Team, we are satisfied that the covers supplied are of an acceptable fit and have been manufactured to the required standards.

The job not completed to my satisfaction.
It’s not as promised.
I asked that it would be as neat as my current sofas covered are?
The answer was in strong yes.
She came to fix the folds of the loose fabrics gathering on the arm by putting loose rubber pieces on the sides which haven’t worked and I was told that nothing more can be done.
Moreover I feel that I was pressurised to allow her to come to the house after I tried to cancel the appointment as I wanted to go for upholstery rather than sofa covers.
