Good afternoon,
We are disappointed to see this review as we feel we offered you fair solutions to the natural occurrence that is happening with your tap.
When you raised this with us, we immediately referred this to our installation manager and Bristan, the tap manufacturer, for their clarification on the matter. It was diagnosed that what is happening with your tap is a standard process called capillary action which is a form of spout drainage. It is an occurrence which sees excess water being expelled from a product after use. The water is held within the product due to an imbalance of pressures. As these equalise the water will be released. The water can either exit the product slowly or with a forceful gush for a few seconds which is what is happening in your case. If there was an issue with the tap or the tap valves, the tap would continuously drip/leak. We offered to come back and fit you a new tap free of charge of a different style to see if this would suit you better, however you advised us that you had decided to keep the original tap and put up with the few seconds of excess water being expelled when you turn the tap off.
We feel we have been more than fair in our resolution, particularly as this relates to a natural occurrence rather than our workmanship.

Plumbgas are a plum draw.
Been using Plumbgas for a few years now. Easy to pre-book service, set prices and regular notifications to update etc. Engineers are always neat and professional. All in all a great company to work with.

Fairly priced and reliable.
Reliable local firm which places quality customer service at the heart of what it does. Friendly, polite and courteous qualified staff chosen for the jobs required well supported by the office admin team. Tracking engineer very useful so that everything can be ready for when he/she arrives and that saves customers and engineers valuable time.

There were a couple of cancelled appointments. However I appreciated being kept I formed and good follow on documentation.
Clearer billing would be helpful but otherwise am satisfied with the service

Combi boiler installation
From initial enquiry to finished job, Plumbgas has been fantastic. Friendly and helpful on the phone and the gas engineer who fitted my new combi boiler went that extra mile and deserves a medal for the amount of work he got through. I would strongly recommend them for any plumbing or heating work.
