The meals are tasty
The meals are tasty. Not always to our taste as in the cauliflower cheese.vitvgad sage in it.bavherb we both hate. The first time I've seen it with cauliflower cheese.
We like them but find most a bit dry. But I think I can alter that. I am disabled so don't cook anymore. We are actually vegetarian but we are fine with vegan. I have my dairy in the morning. Because I have to. We have more to try yet.

Planty meals are a life saver
Planty meals are a life saver! I prefer to eat vegan but struggle to prepare foods ever since getting cancer. Planty meals are the best answer I've found. The servings are generous, the food is healthy and nutritious but also super easy and quick to prepare - essential when you have limited energy. The environmental impact is also fully considered with recyclable packaging. I keep an eye out for discount codes as it can be costly when you're on a budget but there is never any waste and the time saved on cooking, shopping etc makes it fully worth it.

A culinary game changer.
As someone who has an irritable bowel, this company has been a game changer. There meals are convenient, affordable but most importantly they are damn tasty. Excellent amount of choice to keep your taste buds entertained. I can honestly say I've not found a single meal that I've disliked. I would happily recommend.

Food was okay, but excellent service
Food: Tried this when AllPlants closed down. Decent tasting, though not as satisfying as AllPlants, to my taste. Portions were a bit small given the price.
Reliability: Maybe I was unlucky, but I encountered 2 consecutive missed deliveries (DPD), and decided not to continue because of how this interferes with my meal planning.
Service: I had various logistical issues with my second order and Chloe (5 stars for her!) was amazing with her assistance. I added a whole star just because of her. So rare to feel genuinely helped by a person with internet businesses these days.

I was looking for vegan nutrition because I love animals and I believe everyone should refuse to participate in animal cruelty.
With a lot of companies not offering enough vegan options, I found Planty and my life has changed

I've tried 3 different meals and one side, the food tastes nice. It's healthy & the ingredients are great quality.
Customer service was quick & efficient.

As good as if freshly cooked home!
Absolute delight! After 3 boxes, I have tested almost every recipe, and they are all absolutely gorgeous. It's a real pleasure to open my freezer to these beautiful sleeves, and pick up a delicious meal ready in minutes. As good as if freshly cooked home, it doesn't take like ready meals at all. The fact that everything is vegan is a bliss, no more time-consuming reading ingredients sessions, I can select any dish. And the effort made on materials to be all recyclable and the free return of boxes & liners is brilliant. I have never been so happy to support a small business. BRAVO!

Been with them since December 2024...
I've been using Plantly since the closing of Allplants, who I was with for a number of years. After looking into alternatives, it seems like they were the only one lol. But I'm happy with their service. I get a number of meals from them every two weeks and will continue to do so. Thanks for the great service!

I put a one star review which was removed but replaced. I see it has gone again as have a number of other one star reviews that were there yesterday.
I wasn't happy with their unprofessional way their ordering system worked. Offering me a free dessert then charging for it. I also think they should understand that they might get criticisms and not contact their customers, like they did me, and tell them off for upsetting their staff when I simply said they should test their systems.
I have contacted the Daily Mail who are very interested that Trustpilot are removing critical reviews. Trustpilot are undermining their reputation.
You were unable to resolve the problems because you refused to address them. I was told at first that I couldn't have 2 offers at the same time (free delivery and free dessert). Now you are saying that free delivery is standard. PLEASE stop phoning me up. I read more of your one star reviews and wouldn't have ordered from you had I read them first.

We did reach out directly to try and resolve the issue you raised, including offering to correct the ordering error on multiple occasions. We’re sorry this wasn’t a solution you were happy with.
While we completely understand that not every customer experience will be perfect, we also believe conversations should stay respectful, both for our team and to help us find a way forward. Our goal is never to silence criticism, but to ensure feedback shared on public platforms is accurate.
As for the food itself, we do want to note that an order was never placed or received, so we’re sorry we weren’t able to hear your thoughts on the meals themselves.

I have ordered twice now from Planty
I have ordered twice now from Planty, a mixture of mains and desserts. I would say on balance the food is great - not perfect but pretty close considering this isn't small batch cooking. It has a home cooked taste and the meals are mostly tasty and satisfying.
I felt the Chorizo Tomato Bean Bake was missing something, it tasted nice but was sloppy and didn't look like the picture. The Korean Bibimbap was delicious as was the Harissa Carrot Tagine. The Sticky Date Pudding was lovely and left me wanting more! The Beetroot Red Velvet Cake was okay though I think it would be better if I had warmed it up a bit.
Overall, I think they are great to have in the freezer if you want something quick and healthy to eat or have a vegan family member and don't know what to cook. My daughter who was vegan for several years and is now vegetarian thought they were very good.

Choking Hazard Twice!
I’ve been a very loyal customer for over a year because there aren’t many purely vegan ready cooked delivery services out there but I’m definitely changing, or going back to grocery shopping (inconvenient but safer!) Not once but twice I’ve damaged teeth on foreign objects found in two of the meals (the beetroot stew and aubergine moussaka). The first time I literally cracked a tooth and this time (last night) hurt another and it’s still throbbing over 12 hours later. Last time I was offered a refund for just one meal. I’m expecting a delivery today and it includes 2 X moussaka which I now don’t trust eating. I would’ve expected more in terms of goodwill gestures as I’ve provided photographic evidence. On both occasions I could have choked. Outside of this issue I’ve been generally happy with most meals. Some such as the stroganoff and shakshuka are tiny so I never order. The roast dinner is way too salty and I need lower sodium meals. I also need meals that I won’t choke on! Definitely had enough.

Planty is entirely vegan
Planty is entirely vegan. There is no risk of your food being contaminated with animal or dairy products.
I have avoided Soya since Monsanto unleashed its genetically modified soya without proper safety testing. Planty use soya in the majority of meals.
Planty withdraw the money for your next delivery several days before. If you want to cancel or change, & you’re getting weekly deliveries, you need to do so more or less immediately after the last delivery. However, they were very accommodating when I wanted to change my selection during their packing period.
Some of the functions of the website I found difficult to master, particularly the way discounts are handled.
THE FOOD
The Golden Roast Potatoes are spectacular, flavoured with sage. If I could, I would probably have them with 60% of my meals.
The others I preferred were OK, but not restaurant standard.
The Harissa Carrot Tagine had a pleasant taste
The Cauli Korma tasted of coconut, not much else
Red Thai Sweet Potato Curry had a slight spicy taste. Quite nice
The 3 meals I picked out tasted much better when oven cooked than when microwaved. This makes them less convenient & more expensive. They are still better than what I could do myself in the same time.
