I have fallen in love with white/green Dieffenbachia because some are large, cheerful, bright-green-and-white, extremely hardy, and almost maintenance free indoor beauties. They bring a kitchen table or a dining room to life!! We had a two month home construction project where workers forgot a 48" Diffenbachia among cardboard boxes in our basement, and when we found it, it was still 65% perfect. So to improve on this, I bought the biggest one I could find anywhere at PlantVine. But on arrival I had apparently been upside down during delivery. Dirt had emptied all over the box, the major leaves had snapped off, and the plant was 50% of the height, 50% of the stalks, and 20% of the colors advertised. These things happen, and I offered to return the plant at my cost for a replacement. PlantVine declined saying that with care the broken plant would revive. They have beautiful and unusual plants for sale, but shop carefully :)

I received a plant that was in extreme duress. It was very clear from its condition that it went into the box that way. When I wrote to them, they wrote back saying to try to follow the included instructions for a few weeks, and they would not offer a refund. I would not buy from this company.

The plant arrived in very poor condition after spending five days in transit with UPS, even though it was supposed to take only two days. It had broken leaves and branches, which made for a very bad presentation. I have bought from other vendors before, and Plantvine’s quality is way below them. I do not recommend this vendor.

Excellent communication and customer service.

This company is unethical. They have no customer service contact and they charge you for a large plant and send you a small one. Do not do business with them as you have no recourse due to the fact that they never respond to you.

First, plant business is hard. I get that, and I deeply appreciate those who do it. So last month I ordered a Ylang Ylang tree from this business. (I had ordered two from other businesses and they both arrived dead... horribly dead.) So this tree arrived full of very rusty sick looking brown leaves, drooping terribly... even the thicker branches were hung over. It shipped and arrived in two days, but this was long term damage on the plant. I connected the company twice and never heard back. But... I trimmed the tree down as much as I dared and treated it with a fungicide and pest spray for two weeks and plucked the leaves off. It's now, after 4 weeks, pushing out loads of new buds, and they look healthy. So boo for the company, and yay for the tree.

I live in ND so it’s 1 week for me to get plants delivered since they are being shipped from Florida plants arrived in such a great shaped and I order big plants bird of paradise, black stem Alocasia, a ficus tree all arrived in a excellent shaped will definitely order from them again

Like an idiot I bought a second plant from them after they shipped me a half-dead plant the first time. This time the plant I purchased, a yucca, was completely INFESTED with mealybugs. I had to throw it out and I’m praying it hasn’t infected all my other plants.

My plants were thriving before I introduced two plants from Plantvine. They looked healthy when I initially unboxed, but after a few weeks one plant had a web with spider mites. The other had scales and some other creatures growing on the branches. It infected my other plants which I had to throw away. There was literally larvae and full blown WORMS in the soil. Now all my plants are gone except one very resilient bird of paradise. The whole experience was so disgusting. Also, they shipped me a plant that had its roots poking up from the pot about a half inch. It was way too small. When I repotted, I saw there was a web like mold growing in the soil due to how tightly it was packed. Just don’t buy from them unless you want to share a home with insects and jeopardize your other plants.

I could have purchased it in my area for half the price.

For one, they advertise a 45-day guarantee, but send out plants in huge boxes with zero insulation or even polyfill to protect the leaves! I ordered two plants for a loved one's birthday; it took five weeks for them to send. Upon receiving the plants, they were severely damaged, including the shipping box. They had the audacity to ask for additional photos to see if the plants would regrow? The plants lost 9/13 leaves, and that's their concern? I'll never do business with them again!

I purchased a Pothos from this company which was on a wooden post. When I went to transfer the plant from the pot I discovered the wood post was stapled to the bottom of the pot!!!

The end result was that the product was not multiple, not well-established Pothos plants shoved together to create the illusion of a well-established plant.

In my efforts to remove the staple from the work post, the end result was everything just falling apart with no real established root ball. I could have bought better plants for far less at a local nursery and put it together myself.

Despite send the company pictures of the end result of their poor method, I got a message I had to re-pot the plants in a pot and send it back for a refund.

You can rest assured I will not be doing any further business with this company. I may lose a $50-60 from this but at least I can warn others not to do business with them.

I ordered a snake plant, shipping took over a week! Do you know what happens to a plant after it sits in a box for over a week? Yup... it arrived a dying mess. When a sent a them a email (with photos) they played it down and blamed UPS all while offering no solution. Only after their snarky replies I PAID to return the plant. WORST COMPANY EVER!! And who ever sent me those snarky replies... I wish to slap the hell out of them. Not my fault you cant ship non dying plants.

I ordered several plans, from online places Plant vine was the only one with a very professional packaging, the plans were very beautiful and healthy, I received instruction how to unpack and how to care for it.
I will always buy from them.

I had my ficus benjamina tree from Plantvine for almost exactly 4 months when it completely died. I contacted Plantvine and was told that their guarantee is only for 45 days. Not even an offer of a discount to buy another one. Do NOT buy from this company!
