Easy to sign up. Cheap cost and a quality line for the calls I needed to make. What more can you ask more?

After being dissatisfied with the customer service and care provided by a large telecoms company we decided to try Planet Numbers and we are so glad we did. The professional and friendly staff are easy to communicate with and nothing is ever too much trouble. Not only have they beaten our previous provider on price and service but the actual product is infinitely better too. The hosted VoIP service gives our business more flexibility than we have ever had before and I am only sorry that we didn’t switch to them sooner.

The guys on the other end of the phone in are really quick and efficient.

We have been working with Alex and his team at Planet Numbers since February this year.

As a small and fast-growing business we have needed a lot of support and help in order to get on top of our phone system and procedures.

Alex and his team have been beyond helpful. They have been patient, responsive and on several occasions helped us fixed problems that we created. Their service is excellent and we'll be sticking with them for years. It's a huge contrast to our last suppliers who were the very opposite.

I only started using Planet Numbers recently both privately and for my business and was assured, when I called them prior to starting to use Planet Numbers , that the existing rates for calls to South Africa and the USA wouldn't be changing in the near future, so I was extremely annoyed to discover today that the rate for calls to South Africa had been hiked from about 5p per minute to 18p per minute without any warning. Absolutely disgusting.

The other issue I have is that you are charged a 5p connection charge even if the call isn't answered and this can add up very quickly.

All in all, not a good experience.

Thank you, Alex, for taking the time to repond to my comments and for your kind offer of some goodwill credit. That would be much appreciated.

As a small business, it's very important that I get best value for money on international calls and I sincerely hope the cost of calls to South Africa will drop again soon as that was a huge leap in price.

I also make a lot of calls to the USA but I don't believe that rate has been affected.

As you will have noticed, I only put £5 worth of credit on the account initially as I wanted to be sure of the line quality prior to committing to more credit as I've had a couple of bad experiences in the past with other companies' access numbers, but so far so good as the lines have been clear.

FYI - I have increased my review rating to 4 stars as I appreciate the fact that you have been so proactive and have taken the trouble to respond and also to offer me some credit.

That is the sign of a good business! It's sad that so few companies these days care about customer service.

The user experience was quite straight forward. The helpline was answered swiftly and the service provided was first class. I would use Planet Numbers again and recommend them to others.

Puzzled.... Have been using Planet Numbers very successfully (with a Plusnet account providing free 0845 dialling) but am now advised "You cannot reach this country (Finland) with the access number you are using". What has happened?

Having been customers of Tesco international calls for years, spending money every month to have it expire... I'm delighted to have found this service. Our family in the US are grateful as is my bank balance. If you call abroad often, this is a MUST HAVE!

i was wondering if the message before i call will prompt by providing information as to what your charges are eg. it could say something like calls to this number is free or X pence per minute. This will inform the caller what the chargers will be. Obviously I know you have no control of the charges of my service provider.

Had no problems whatsoever. Even phoned the customer service line to make sure they exist..... and they do. Staff were very professional and good at their job. Were able to answer any questions I had
