Do NOT trust this company! I bought the Piranha citrus juicer and the Slam Chop from this company at the Ideal Home Show. They claim the Slam Chop gives you fries, however, it is very difficult to use as you need to stand the potato vertically and push down. Maybe ok for someone with lots of strength in their hands but unfortunately not for the average person. The juicer only juices oranges, lemons and lime and whilst quick and fairly straightforward to use, my juicer keeps getting stuck and the lid jams such that I cannot open it. I bought this for my elderly mother-in-law but she cannot use this. It’s currently sitting on my worktop with rotting juice in it as the lid is jammed. Contacted Piranha, to their credit, they did offer me a replacement, however, I have no faith in this product and since it was bought for my mother-in-law, it just wouldn’t serve its purpose. I explained this in my response and requested a refund. No response despite chasing numerous times. According to the consumer rights act 2015, I am legally entitled to a full refund however, this company is a joke and customer service non-existent so I am not holding my breath. But I will ensure I post my experience on all social media avenues (and am lucky to know some well-known influencers) and will be persuing a chargeback via my credit card. And shame on the Ideal Home Show for condoning such behaviour (they take no responsibility for issues with products). Surely, they should encourage ethical sales.

Can’t fault the peeler it’s razor sharp. However beware, use carefully and don’t let your kids use it. I was peeling a sweet potato and it sliced the tip of my finger off. bled everywhere and I couldn’t work for a few days as when I used my hands it bled again. Had to be rebandaged twice to heal and couldn’t be stitched as top of finger rather than a sliced finger. Took a big chunk off. I ish I never used it.

Disgraceful company. They partner with Shop Extra to sell their goods and on 28th August 2023 they ran a promotion, with the owner of the company on screen, offering free piranha scissors with all purchases of piranha peelers. Both Piranha and Shop Extra have refused to honour this deal. Shop Extra are pretending it doesn't exist and Piranha have not even responded to a message I sent them. Their products are good but I will never trust this company again.

I have had a Piranha peeler for over 10 years and it is as sharp now as when I first got it. It’s razor sharp, still peeling carrots, tomatoes in fact anything. I’ve bought one for both my daughter’s to use in their kitchen’s and they love it too. I can’t recommend them enough BUT just be careful you don’t peel your fingers as well

This is probably the best peeler in the world! The blades are so sharp and go through the fruit and veg like butter. I especially love it when peeling butternut squash, this used to be a chore, now it is a pleasure.

I bought this peeler set from Ideal World Shopping Channel - It is the best peeler I have ever used it is really sharp and I couldn't believe how easy it was to peel my fruit and vegetables, The Julienne peeler also did a great job on my carrots and courgettes - thank you
