This company is a rip off, they charged wine on my account and sent it to another address then send me the bill I've looked at other reviews!!!! The reps do this and keep the wine you will be hearing from my solicitor bunch of con artists

Great range of products brought to us by the best wine advisor (Rory Brisby). Rory knows our tastes so well that each time we order we get him to add a recommendation that always is spot on to our palette.
The company is only let down by their choice of delivery service (Yodel).

My wife and I have been using Pieroth for a number of years now and have had nothing but fantastic service from our rep, Rory Brisby. He keeps us updated with orders and promotions and always makes sure we have plenty of notice on stock levels of our favourite wines.

Sadly, we can't meet in person for tastings at the moment but knowing what our tastes are, he is always able to recommend new wines for us to try.

The wines themselves are always of the highest quality and we always look forward to receiving our new wine delivery.

You need to stop using Yodel, they are making you lose customers. This is a review about your company given it is your product I have purchased and your choice of delivery firm is part of your purchase experience.

I have a pending order due to be delivered. Yodel said they were due to deliver my wine yesterday but they did not turn up as promised. I am concerned for the whereabouts of my product and hope they will still be intact by the time I do get it delivered.

The previous order I made with Pieroth (before COVID lockdown), Yodel delivered the box without asking for my signature and they dumped it on its side! Could have easily broken bottles but luckily no damage. They do not look after your products despite the value of them!

My father stopped buying wine from yourselves because of Yodel and I am afraid this will be my last order with yourselves once I get my wine delivered. Your choice of courier and my experience with them has put me off completely.

I have been a Pieroth wine drinker for 18 months now, this was purchased as a present for my birthday which we had an a great wine tasting session with our local agent Kevin Jewsbury, who we had a laugh with while we were tasting the wine.

Had a relaxed evening wine tasting, hosted by Dashka. We didn't end up buying anything and put under no pressure to do so. Pleasant evening, thank you.

I would like to thank Kevin Jewsbury and Pieroth for another delivery of excellent wine. We have had nothing but outstanding service every time. Kevin is always knowledgable, professional, friendly and full of humour. Have a great retirement Kevin.

We had a wine tasting with Daksha. She was great. She bought a good selection of wines and explained them all clearly and precisely. Daksha mixed in with our group and made us all feel very comfortable. We all had a good evening and gladly bought some wine. Daksha didn’t pressurise us into any purchases everything was friendly and low key.
The wines aren’t cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
It would have been nice to buy a few bottles without investing in a full case.
If you want a fun evening to sample wines you can’t buy in the supermarkets go to Daksha...you won’t be disappointed.

We had no intention of buying wine and just wanted to enjoy the tasting, however once we tried the wine we couldn't resist!

Had a really good evening with Daksha and are looking forward to our other free wine tasting night in May!

Fab evening today with Daksha. Good variety of wines and Daksha made it fun and interesting for us all. No pressure to buy, we were all happy to purchase our favourite wines. Would definitely recommend a wine tasting night. Looking forward to the next one!

Update- Following posting my earlier experience (or lack of it) & very poor communication from Pieroth, I was contacted by them by email & asked to submit my details. That was a week ago and I've heard nothing since. I can't speak for, or understand all the positive reviews but can only say that I can never recommend Pieroth.

Original review - Unfortunately I have shared the same poor experience of some reviewers, not even getting to the stage of tasting any wine. Our tasting experience was booked well in advance but two days before, after we had bought food for the evening, I had a call to say that the person hosting had left the business & no one was available so it had to be postponed. I was told that I would be called in a couple of days to arrange another date but still nothing happened. After a week, I emailed & called to be told that someone would call me back, but again nothing. This was a gift from a friend so she is disappointed as well.

We recieved the wine tasting as a christmas gift from my sister. Colin contacted me to arrange a convenient day and time. We invited our niehbours and took advice from Colin about providing nibbles. The evening was very enjoyable and colin was knowlegeable about the wines and the regions they came from.

We had a wine tasting evening on the 20th February, which had been given to us as Christmas present. The gift was for 4 people so we invited our Son and his girlfriend to join us.
Our Peiroth expert was called Daksha and although she was running late from her previous event, she kept in touch and let us know what was happening.
The actual tasting ran smoothly and was made fun by the 'guess the value' game for the wines.

As Daksha had called me before the event, we were able to take her advice and prepare appropriate food and nibbles that complimented the wines which was good.

The only disappointing thing about the evening was the way you had to buy the wines. We would have been happy to buy a couple of bottles of our favourite wines, and there were some lovely ones, however you can only buy them in cases of 6 per wine which proves to be costly for the 'normal' wine drinker.

That said, Daksha was a lovely and knowledgeable person, who made the evening a great one.

We would recommend.

My wife, two friends and I had a very enjoyable evening at home with Daksha from Pieroth. She brought a wide variety of twelve white, red, rose and dessert wines for us to sample and detailed growing conditions and production processes for each.

We booked the tasting some weeks ahead and Daksha confirmed arrangements a few days before visiting.

We had such a good night as a party of 6 with host Al.
It was fun yet informative and we learnt loads of information on the wines / regions that we had not on previous wine tasting . Al was a great host and we will be certainly requesting him for our next event!

Had a wine tasting booked for 6pm tonight. Took a call from rep at 13:58 saying he was not coming due to having a chest infection. I asked him if somebody else would be coming, he did not know. He said he had left a voicemail on his bosses phone to advise him but was not sure what would happen next. I asked him for his bosses name and he said Matt. I asked if Matt had a surname and his reply was "he does have a surname but I blowed if I can remember it now" This was a surprise for my husbands 50th birthday and we had friends coming, a fact the rep was well aware of. I had originally been speaking to a different rep when booking was made, but 6 days ago I took a call from a new rep who wanted to confirm all was still ok. When I asked why rep 1 was not coming, he said, " he has gone. I think he has left the company" So, now I have friends arriving in 3 hours time, loads of food prepared as instructed by both reps and will have to make a trip to the shops to buy wine to drink. What I had planned as a nice surprise has turned out to be a disaster. I do appreciate that unexpected illness happens and in no way would I expect the rep to turn up if he is unwell. But the way the situation has been handled is disgraceful. Totally unprofessional. I can't help but wonder whether Storm Dennis is not a factor here. Shame I could not give zero stars review.
