We have been a customer of Piedmontese.com for many years buying for ourselves and others. Up to this point we have been mostly satisfied until today's order arrived. The box was literally open, all the ice was gone and everyone of the 36 packages was filthy covered in a muddy dust. Thank goodness the temperature was mild and everything was in a partial frozen state. Piedmontese needs to do better job securing their boxes and putting in sufficient ice. I'm afraid this will be my last order after spending thousands of dollars with this company and being a loyal supporter of their products.

The problem was not UPS other than they could have taped up the box. The box was not damaged, the bottom of the box had one piece of tape that broke so UPS flipped the box upside down. So the box was open allowing dust from 10 miles of dirt roads to infiltrate the box and contents. Also the ice was now on the bottom of the box rendering it ineffective. However what was the original top of the box had been completely sealed shut with tape. Had whoever packed the box put sufficient tape on the bottom of the box and a lable stating which side is up so the ice would be more effective all would have been well. Fortunately the products had not completely defrosted and I was able to clean the individual packages and get them into the freezer. Hopefully the quality is not impacted.
I'm just very disappointed that Piedmontese.com didn't do an adequate packaging job. As much as I would like to blame UPS I can't other than they could have resealed the box.

What’s not to like!!! Yum!
We order and reorder! We just love everything we purchase! It makes it hard to go out and get a good steak for dinner. We would rather go out for lunch and make dinner at home!
