None of the pictures look like me. I uploaded 10 different pictures and their pictures do not look anything close to me. I can not use any of these pictures. What a waste of money. I really hope this company deletes the pictures submitted and does not sell images to other companies. I feel scammed and sketched out. I immediately sent them a request for a refund but have not heard back.

Easily the worse product of its kind. The absolute majority of images were so poor in quality and had significant distortion.

Update 18/05/2023 - I have requested a refund via live chat.

The results achieved were disappointing and unusable. Unless I wanted to be in witness protection. Looks like they put my hairline on someone else’s photos.
However, after contacting the business, they replied with advice on how to use better, more varied, input photos to improve the outcome. “The photos should not be from the same photoshoot, surroundings, clothes and lightning, sorry but this is how AI currently works.” So, despite the disappointing results, the business was fair and responsive.

I emailed them requesting a refund and nobody has replied to my email. It's been over 2 weeks...

Edit: I am writing to the correct business. I use a different name when purchasing products for privacy reasons. Check your spam filter then. You’re missing refund requests in your email!😤

The user experience was simple to navigate. With 120 images made available, the likelihood of ending up with a handful that are very close to accurate, etc. is high. The value was very good for the amount charged. I walked away with many usable images for my project for a very reasonable price.

In addition, the customer service was fantastic. I was hoping to have a few edits made to a particular image. I reached out over chat and had final revisions turned around in less than 24 hours. Wow!

First time hearing of pfpmaker.com was looking at my recent debit card transactions. Is it an app? So irritating

I was surprised with how good some of the photos came out, my wife wants me to dress better and change my hair style a little based on a couple of photos from here even. There were a few misses and even 2 that made me wonder if the AI mixed up my pics with someone else but for $15 I got at least 10 usable updated headshots for use at work and some laughs.

Pictures were unusable. Paid for a batch of 120 and the vast majority of the pics were horrible. Many of the images were distorted beyond recognition and many others looked like they had used pictures from a completely different human being. Even the few that did look like me were of horrible quality.

I emailed them about a refund but I have not yet received a response.

Avoid! They advertise that photos will be ready in one hour, but after the hour is up a message pops up saying they're busy and need more time. After several hours I emailed to find out when to expect them and how (ie. Would they email them? Am I to keep checking the website?) and didn't get a response. Waited a few more hours, and followed up, nothing. Don't advertise that you have a one hour turnaround and then make people wait an entire day and ignore them - just don't do that :) I'll update this review IF i get my photos and IF I receive a response.

Edit: 3 days later, no response to my emails or this review. No photos either. I've requested a refund.

Edit: After 3 follow ups, I finally received a response saying that my order was not processed. After some probing, turns out I uploaded too many photos but that my photos are ready now. They were not great, and I won't be using them. My refund is being processed, but the overall experience and quality of images leave much to be desired.

All the photos I got from this site were unusable-- they looked demented and nothing like me. I wanted to get a refund but they are very clear about their no refunds policy, so STAY AWAY!

EDIT: Well, I may have been wrong on the refund bit. I will request a refund shortly and update if it's processed.
