Petrol prices gives you a good idea of prices weather petrol or diesel in your location , they maybe one to five pence difference, but they try and keep website updated

INCORRECT INFORMATION
This was updated on 7th April Today. Diesel £1.79. INCORRECT £1.84.
1P cheaper than Asda. Totally out of date within a few hours.

Hi Alan, If you see an incorrect price you can raise with the Uk Government, as of the 2nd Feb all fuel stations must legally report their prices within 30 mins of a change, we can only show you the data the sites have made available.

INACCURATE, FAILS TO LOAD AND SLOW
Downloaded the app - it fails to load or is annoyingly slow. Prices are NOT ACCURATE - just sent my husband on a wild goose chase. NOT IMPRESSED and your app and site wont let me alter the price. Avoid Firs Lane in Wigan - they are highest we found advertising at £148.9 utter lies - £1.70 and you cannot alter the actual price on their website. No point telling me to contact the government!

Thanks for your updated reply, you seem to have misunderstood that the UK Government have legislated that all stations legally must report their prices within 30 minutes of it changing. If you see a price is incorrect you can report it to the Government, we can only show you the data we've been shared.

Not doing so well recently. The website recent news talks about 1.4p rise over February. NOTHING about March and the war in Iran. Nor the 4p rise in last 7days.
Updated their app for iPhone to see if any better but often no response when I open it.
They have been around for a few years now and I am signed up with them but they have not coped well with recent events nor the government insistence on petrol stations reporting their price changes within hours to a central run database that price comparison websites can access. So no longer such a reliance on the public.

The issues with the app is entirely due to demand and we are working as fast as we can to support. The app will work, but the results may not be as quick as we'd like. Please be patient with us we are working as hard as we can to cope with demand as a very small team. You can use our website in the interim: https://www.petrolprices.com/app/map
We do also use the UK Gov data alongside other sources. The new UK Gov API data is not rolled out at 100% of stations yet and we're not willing to compromise our service to users until the data improves. Petrol stations can enter a false petrol price to guide people to their stations only to find the price of petrol is more expensive! Reported it to petrol prices and nothing done about it!

Hi Annabel, we have replied to your emails and I can assure you we are and having been raising it with the station - unfortunately we aren't hearing back and they are not obligated to reply to us.
As of the 2nd February all fuel stations in the UK are legally required to report there prices within 30 mins of a change, you can read more about it here: https://www.petrolprices.com/fuel-finder/ and you can raise a compliant directly with the UK Government if you wish here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/report-an-error-in-fuel-prices-or-forecourt-details.
Please consider amending your 1 star review, we can and only have the ability to show you the prices submitted by the stations to the UK GOV. We have no authority to raise with them but we do try and work with stations who are willing to cooperate with us.
We have replied to all your emails stating what we can do, and what we have been doing with the site and it is disappointing you are reflecting this on us.

Utter Bloody Garbage
The app does NOT work. Tried installing it several times and nothing happens. I just get a screen that says "rated excellent on Trustpilot".

I use the app frequently to see we’re in my area is the cheapest fuel so I can see when the prices are rising.

I always use this app to find out where the cheapest fuel is near me. It's hand in unfamiliar areas as it allows you to see nearest your location prices.
