I placed the order in and purchased the test on Nov 8th 2025. Not having received the expected kit by November 13th I wrote in to enquire. I received a prompt reply explaining there was no kit and I needed to send the sample of dog hair in myself as per the email. I had not realised this! The communication after my enquiry was great including confirmation my sample had been received on Friday 21st and the results of the test on Monday 25th but I would suggest making the no kit bit clear on the ordering page.
I received thorough comprehensive results on November 25th and will make appropriate adjustments to my dogs meals. Thank you!

Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Delay

I sent my pet intolerance test to this company in early October and have still not received any results. Their website claims a turnaround time of just a few days, which is completely untrue in my experience.

When your dog is suffering, you naturally want to do everything you can to alleviate any discomfort. Even though these tests aren’t scientifically perfect, they can at least help you be more mindful — which is why I decided to try it. But the level of delay I’ve experienced is simply unacceptable.

I first emailed them on 10th November with no response. Today, I’ve tried again through email, their website form, and the online chat, and I still haven’t heard anything. It’s impossible to get hold of anyone, and the lack of communication feels incredibly unprofessional.

Given the circumstances, I will be seeking a refund through my credit card provider if I don’t receive the results immediately.

Very disappointing — I would not recommend this service.

My dog is 4 years old and has been blighted with allergies since we got him.

I've tried so many different products to help him and spent lots of money at the vets on treatments.

I was sceptical of this process but thought I would try it first before potentially spending £200+ at the vets for an allergy test/biopsy.

I already knew some of my dogs allergies/intolerances from an elimination diet, and these came up on the test so I know it was accurate.

A potato intolerance came up on his test, which he currently eats twice a day in his dog biscuits. I can now find a new dog food routine which will ease his intolerances.

I am thrilled, thank you so much! It's very stressful having a dog with allergies so I'm happy that he will now have a smoother (and less itchy) life.

Sent me a second account and took a second payment without authorisation. Seen similar reviews. No reply to email i sent asking for answers and refund.

I ordered on 7th May, money taken, no kit received. I emailed to chase, they then said I don’t get a kit and I have to send off the fur myself in a plastic bag?? When querying this my emails have now been ignored and the website has said closed for maintenance for weeks. Have I been scammed?

I Would just like to thank the whole team at pet food intolerance Sara was amazing she was on hand to answer any questions or queries that I had and as for the test was really good and helped us with food choices and other stuff regarding allergies definitely recommend 5⭐️

Bought two tests a year apart for the same dog - the results were completely different. No common results whatsoever. This is a complete scam!

We were forced to buy a very expensive dog food for over a year, which didn’t include any of the things he was supposedly sensitive to. This never really eliminated his problems and we probably ended up paying over £1,000.00 more than we would have done on dog food as it was very expensive finding one without so many certain ingredients in it.

I hope they have professional indemnity insurance because they are wholly negligent for the financial loss we have incurred as a result of the inaccurate and inconsistent results in this test.

The liability section in their terms and conditions is amusing to read, stating that they cannot be held liable for the results in the test, and disclaim all warranties. That is not how litigation works. If it was that easy to avoid any liability, then indemnity insurance would not exist.

They are very clever because everybody I have spoken to who has purchased a test from these has either had dust, peas or grains as a sensitivity. Almost all dogs will be exposed to at least one of these things.

Do not waste your time with this bogus nonsense.

The "how it works" blurb clearly shows this is a bogus scam. Anyone who claims to have and i quote a "quantum physics machine" and talks about "bioresonance" is full of it. - Someone I know wasted money on this so I'm putting this on here. This is junk science at best and most likely an intentional scam preying on peoples desire to look after their pets.

Great easy to use kit, and easy to understand results.
The kit and results arrived promptly, I also had a few questions which Matt kindly answered and explained everything clearly.

I now know what to avoid to ensure my dog is happy :)

I ordered the kit in May and I still haven’t received it. I gave my phone number for a callback and haven’t received one.

My cat has been Scratching himself and I had a suspicion that he was intolerant to chicken and possibly tuna but I was not 100% sure. I have decided to try this test and I found this absolutely rubbish. We have already switched to the beef and pork with him and he stopped Scratching. I am 100% sure that those foods he is fine with however the test identified that he was intolerant to beef, pork, wood pellets, parmesan... honestly what a disappointment. I am sure people who are raving about how good this test is just have not made an effort to eliminate the foods and try those proteins one by one. this is why they feel that the test helped them. The test really only shows what has been found on the fur of the animal rather than identifying what he is intolerant to.
My cat is absolutely fine with wood pellets, and I added parmesan to his food sometimes as a tiny sprinkle if he was not eating beef. It has taken him a little bit longer to stop chicken and start liking beef. The only intolerance this test showed was to the products that he was fine with. What a waste of money, and the company tried arguing with me when I complained. Don't waste your money, they don't know what they are doing. They cannot identify anything apart from the traces of items found on the fur. Just try eliminating the foods foe a month and slowly introducing back and if the symptoms come back you will know what the issue is.
P.S. adding after the company replied. So firstly you are responding almost a year later. Secondly, I actually got in touch when I received the results so do not see any point getting in touch now. Hopefully everyone can understand that there is no food intolerance test done by fur as such that would give 100% result. This result is like putting finger in the air so can go to a fortune teller with the same result. Just waste of money

This was a real eye-opener regarding our Soots' food intolerance! She'd had a dicky tummy and blood in her stool and we were feeding her boiled chicken and white rice to try and settle things. Little did we know that she has high sensitivity to both of these foods. Not only that, but we'd used sunflower oil in the cooking of the rice. Guess what? She has a sensitivity to that too! So Soots ended up with gastroenteritis and had to have a course of antibiotics. Now we've got the intolerance report we've been able to change her food to exactly what she needs. She's like a rejuvenated pup, despite being 12 and a half years old. Her itchy skin problems have dissipated and, hopefully, with her new food starting tomorrow, things will get even better for her.
I honestly can't recommend this service enough! It's a complete game-changer and at a very low price considering how invaluable the information is. Please give it a go if your pup has itching problems, or problem poop, or any uncomfortable habits that you've noticed. It will change their lives!

Had an excellent and very genuine service. Initially I made a mistake with my email which their service desk were very helpful to resolve. The test arrived and I returned it and had the results within a week. I emailed to ask for clarification as the results show intolerance to chicken, but ground chicken is OK. I had a very clear and detailed reply as to why there can be differences. I would not be put off by the negative reviews, its necessary to understand this is not an allergy test, and also how food is processed can affect its cause on digestion. If you understand what you are purchasing then overall it is very good value for money.

So glad I got this done. My Bengal has been suffering with scabs on her head for some time. Done this test and came back sensitive for Rabbit. I have been feeding her rabbit for so long! Hopefully see improvements soon :)

So glad I did this! My dog has been itching and biting his skin and nothing I've tried has helped. Without the knowledge of this test he would have had to be put on a 12 week kibble only food trial by the vet, which I didn't want to do as he loves his food! Now I know exactly what to elimate. Easy process and detailed results delivered really quickly, thank you!

My dog had been on medication from the vet for itchy, sore skin and ears which came back as soon as the medication was stopped. Since the intolerance test we changed her diet and she has been SO much better. Medication has now been stopped and skin and ears are totally clear. The results came back quicker than expected and quick response to emails.

This company charges me twice which my credit card company confirms. I send them proof of both transactions and I still get a “sorry we can’t help you”…. I feel like this company is a total scam!. STAY CLEAR!!.

Was recommended this test on a greyhound forum I’m on as my rescue dog Bailey had some ongoing skin problems when I first got him.

Someone suggested he may have food intolerances but I had no idea where to start on eliminating foods from his diet. This test was so quick and simple and the results gave me a great template to work from to get rid of the foods that could be triggering my boy. His skin is starting to improve already and I’m so glad I used this test to help him.

My review was deleted, PLEASE avoid this company and just find a vet to test, they have insurance plans out there that cover pre existing problems !!
