When the dreaded time comes and you have to say goodbye to your fur baby's I couldn't recommend gentle paws enough. We lost Minnie last week after 18 years of loving her and was heartbroken. From the very first point of contact, I was dealt with such compassion and kindness from Stu and Claire. Struggling to make the phone call and speak on the phone I messaged and was responded to straight away. There was no waiting, they was here within an hour and I personally felt comfort that she wouldn’t be lay there alone for days and was cremated the same day. Minnie was back home with us within 24 hours along with beautiful keepsakes to treasure forever. Gentle paws made such a difficult time that bit easier and I had full trust straight away in Minnie being in their care after she had passed. There is also no comparison to any other prices out there for the service you and your pet receive.
No review or thank you's could ever show how grateful I am for them at such a devastating time ❤️

The compassion & understanding for Claire & Stu was so comforting during this incredibly difficult time loosing our beautiful boy, they went above and beyond expectations.

No one wants to have to cremate their beloved pet but when the time came to say goodbye I’m glad I chose Gentle Paws.
I was a mess but they arranged to collect my cat within a couple of hours. This isn’t a corporate conveyor belt. This is a family run firm who looked at every little detail to make sure my cat was treated with dignity in a humane quick manner. He was cremated the following day and was returned home.
In the head spin of grief I’d forgotten to ask for a paw print and a lock of fur. Without asking they sorted this and made his return home even more special.
While price is never a factor for a loved one there’s no rip off corporate pricing.
I cannot recommend this family firm enough if you are in the unfortunate position of losing a family pet.

Unfortunately, on 4 January we had to say goodnight and goodbye to THE BEST DOG EVER!!
Ted, our gorgeous 12 yr old labradoodle was in too much pain and we had to make the hardest decision ever to let him go 💔 Our whole family are devastated. He was central to everything we did. We have the most wonderful memories and will never forget the absolute unconditional love and affection he gave.
The girls at Autumn Tails who came to our home to gently put Ted to sleep were lovely.
We chose Gentle Paws to provide the individual cremation of Ted and we are so glad we did. A huge thank you! They were so compassionate and patiently waited til we were ready to let him go. They treated Ted with the love and gentle handling he deserved, that was so important to us.
Claire brought his ashes back the next day along with all the lovely paw and nose prints, personal little keyring urns so we all have a little bit of Ted with us always and paw keyrings filled with Teds gorgeous black curls.
Genuinely couldn't have wanted a better goodbye journey for our best boy 💙 we will love him always ❤️

Sunday was one of the hardest days of our lives as a family. Having to say goodbye to our beautiful girl, Poppy, was a pain we have never felt before.
We had Poppy euthanised at home by Autumn Tails and then Gentle Paws came in after and with compassion and respecting Poppy's dignity, Gentle Paws carried her away. Gentle Paws brought Poppy home last night, in a beautiful gift bag packed with keepsakes, including Poppy's ashes, a lock of her fur, her paw and nose prints and a condolences card, certificate of individual cremation and a pet grievance counsellors contact details.
We truly appreciate everything that you have done and the manner in which you handle everything. Thank you so much.

On such a sad day the team at Gentle Paws were amazing and made it feel special. They did Snoop proud and she will be looking down on us all and say thank you.
Snoop was back with us within 48hrs and the little touches of handwritten cards and fur clippings etc were lovely.
