Never use this company ever again
I will Never use this company ever again.
The problem was never resolved and when i approached management about the service that i felt wasn’t done effectively. All the excuses you could offer came out. there was no refund offered. No 2nd visit was offered i even sent proof photo but nope still not interested. will NOT !be using this company again and certainly won’t be recommending them to anyone.

Avoid this company at all costs!
Absolutely awful experience from start to finish with PestUK- avoid this company at all costs.
I booked a technician to treat an obvious squirrel infestation in my house. The initial 'survey and treatment' took approximately 10 minutes, and consisted of traps being set in an inaccessible part of the loft, far from the entry point as "this was the only place the technician has access".
After 4 days, the technician returned and removed the untouched traps and sealed the entry hole. Less than 24 hours later, the squirrel has ripped off the wire mesh which the technician had installed and was back inside.
The technician attended for a third time to reinforce the mesh. However, had managed to trap the squirrel inside the property, causing a lot of noise and resulting in the squirrel chewing a new exit hole- causing additional damage to my property.
At this point I had no faith in PestUK and decided to deal with the problem myself. I removed the fascia board next to the entry hole and immediately found a nest with 5 baby squirrels in. At no point was this communicated as potential as the technician has "tapped on the soffit board and didn't hear any squeaking". I removed the nest, replaced the fascia and dealt with the mother squirrel myself in the end.
I will be referring the matter to BPCA as, by trapping the mother away from her kittens, PestUK contravened animal welfare laws through their negligence. Fortunately their blocking of the hole was shoddy and the mother got back in, else I'd have rotting squirrel carcasses in the eaves after the babies died of starvation. Equally demonstrated is that their 'guarantee' is not in fact such.
I spoke to PestUK Director, Scott, and requested a refund as their technician's works neither correctly diagnosed, treated or prevented the issue. Something I managed in approximately one hour with no prior experience or training. His response was: "You will not get a refund; we should have just been aware. You cannot just get work done and then request a refund."
Avoid at all costs. Have ago yourself, it's easier and less stressful than dealing with these lot.

Thank you for setting this out in detail, and I'm sorry your experience fell so far short at every stage. The sequence you describe repeated visits that didn't resolve the problem, proofing that failed to hold, and above all the discovery of a nest of young that our survey did not identify is serious, and I'm not going to make excuses for it. Identifying the presence of young before sealing entry points is a fundamental part of squirrel work, precisely because of the welfare consequences you've described, and I want to understand fully why that didn't happen here.
I also hear your frustration with how the refund conversation went. Having read your account in full, I'd like to revisit that discussion, along with a proper review of the job itself, the decisions made on each visit, and the standard of the proofing work. If you do refer the matter to the BPCA, we will of course engage with that process fully.
I'm sorry this has cost you time, money, damage to your property, and a great deal of stress. It shouldn't have taken you resolving it yourself for it to end.

Pest UK was excellent from start to finish. Despite an initial mix-up with the appointment scheduling, Bob did his best to get Ollie here who handled everything calmly and professionally. He dealt with a difficult situation — safely and humanely dispatching a live mouse that had been caught in a trap — with real care and composure, which was very reassuring.
He then took the time to thoroughly inspect the entire property, identifying potential entry points and explaining things clearly along the way. He also laid preventative pellets to help stop any further mice from getting in.
Overall, Ollie was knowledgeable, methodical, and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Pest Uk services.
