Insertion of one- way valve in sewer
The technician Jack Grey made his second visit. He checked the bait traps about the house and found no further evidence of activity by sight and via a remote scope. There was also no evidence of any on-going infestation in the bathroom area. He removed the outside drain cover, dug out previous foam plugs and inserted a vented metal plug into the old sewer outlet. He then inserted a one- valve into the main functional sewer which had a wire attachment to enable easy removal if needed . He will return in 2 weeks to check that all is functioning correctly

We're really pleased Jack Grey carried out such a thorough second visit checking the bait stations, confirming no further activity both by sight and with the remote scope, and verifying there was no ongoing issue in the bathroom area. The specialist drainage work he completed, fitting a vented metal plug to the old sewer outlet and a one-way valve into the functional sewer to stop rats getting back in, is exactly the kind of long-term proofing that solves the problem at its source rather than just treating the symptoms. It's great that the valve was fitted with easy removal in mind too. Jack will be back in a couple of weeks to check everything's working as it should.
