I recently purchased the ANCORE Pro Plus from Perform Better in the UK and had the pleasure of dealing primarily with Darren, a Sales Coordinator, and later with Lauren from the Sales Team.
As someone in my sixties, maintaining strength, mobility and independence has become increasingly important to me. I also have a little less flexibility in my hands than I once did, yet I have found the ANCORE remarkably easy to adjust and use. Changing the resistance is quick and straightforward, making it suitable whether you are just beginning your strength training journey or lifting much heavier weights.
The ANCORE itself has exceeded my expectations. It is compact, discreet and takes up very little space on my terrace, yet it offers an incredible range of exercises. I am now training online with a personal trainer, and I continue to discover just how versatile the system is.
What impressed me most was that Darren genuinely listened to what I was trying to achieve. Rather than simply selling a product, he took the time to understand my goals and recommend the right solution for me. As a woman in my sixties wanting to improve my strength and fitness, I really appreciated being treated as an individual rather than just another customer.
Although Darren was my main point of contact, Lauren was equally efficient behind the scenes. Together they made the entire ordering process seamless.
Living in Portugal meant the order had to be coordinated with a UK forwarding company before being shipped to me. Darren ensured everything was dispatched exactly as promised, kept me informed throughout and worked closely with Lauren to make what could have been a complicated international purchase feel straightforward and stress-free.
Exceptional customer service has become increasingly rare, but Darren and Lauren demonstrated exactly what it should look like. Their knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness and genuine willingness to help gave me complete confidence from start to finish. In all honesty, if it had not been for Darren taking the time to answer my many questions and understand exactly what I was looking for, I don't think I would have made the purchase.
I would not hesitate to recommend both Perform Better and the ANCORE to anyone looking for high-quality equipment backed by truly outstanding customer service.

My two daughters have been attending Perform Better in Finchley, and I must say, it has been an incredible experience! The facility is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with top-notch gymnastics equipment. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, making it a great place for both beginners and advanced gymnasts.

The coaches are highly skilled, attentive, and passionate about helping students improve. They also ensure that safety is a top priority during training. My kids felt encouraged and motivated throughout their sessions.

The club offers a variety of classes for different age groups and skill levels. The scheduling is flexible, and the staff is very accommodating.

One thing that stood out to me was the emphasis on creating a supportive environment. Everyone, from the staff to the participants, was friendly and encouraging.

I highly recommend Perform Better to anyone interested in gymnastics. Whether you're looking to compete or just have fun, this club is the perfect place to learn and grow!

Excellent customer service!
I urgently required a Sparklink unit to use Pasco force plates for an IMTP setup as ours had stopped working. I drove to the warehouse and realised I had asked to borrow the wrong piece of kit, but the staff very kindly let me borrow the Sparklink for our testing event.
