When my local practice first introduced Anima, I immediately started to use it. Repeat prescription turnaround suddenly seemed to have gained warp-speed engines, with a request in the morning frequently being signed off the same day.
Although speed of issue has slowed a little, this is an inevitability as more and more patients turn to Anima.
Nevertheless, I would imagine that Anima is one of those rare beasties, something introduced that is beneficial to both the practice staff and their patients.

I tried to arrange a follow-up appointment for an ongoing issue but was forced to complete numerous pages relating to my issue when I had done this previously. Why there is no means of just requesting a follow-up, which only needs to ask what existing condition this relates to, is utterly unbelievable. And don't tell me to ring the medical centre because I am greeted with a message telling me that the front desk cannot make any appointments. In a word - AWFUL!

Not impressed. I tried twice to book an appointment with a GP using Anima. I couldn’t do the first appointment it scheduled (it didn’t check first like humans do) and so I tried to rebook. I was then booked for ‘a call’ (no name or profession) for the following week. I phoned the surgery instead. They put my details in the AI system & I was sent a link - for a physiotherapist appointment (no idea why.) I rang the surgery again and got them to manually rebook the GP appointment.

Priory gate practice is the best practice ever. All doctors kind, caring and professional. If you are a patient there you are lucky

I contacted the surgery for a prescription. It was done almost immediately.

Lakeside and most importantly the staff go above and beyond and they always help when they can. The only thing wrong is the government underfunding and privatisation of much needed services
