I had a lens replaced to enable me to throw away my glasses. At my initial visit it was suggested that I try a contact lens for a few weeks to ensure my brain could cope with blended vision. That worked perfectly so the lens replacement was scheduled for a date which suited me. The operation went very well and I no longer need glasses. I was delighted by the service I received from the consultant, nurse, and all the support team and am recommending them to everyone who asks!

I had been on a waiting list for some time for Cataract Surgery. The eye was getting steadily worse. A friend Recommended Paragon. I rang them on a Monday and was immediately offered an appointment on Wednesday. The staff and Consultant were so helpful and reassuring and I new I was in safe hands. I was told the Cataract was bad and was offered surgery for a week on Saturday. I arrived at 12.15 and Left the clinic by 1pm. at all times I fell secure. The results are truly amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who needs treatment. Thank You!

I was told I needed an Ultrasound to confirm Lipoma. The day after I got the results, I was called by Emilee Rangel, PA telling me this is not a mass and there is nothing to be done. I should seek sports medicine. Meanwhile, almost $500.00 later, I am no further in my recovery. This PA has no bedside manner, in person or on the phone. I don't appreciate not being shown any concern. I will always tell anyone to avoid Paragon. Thanks for nothing and wasting $500.

After really struggling with ocular rosacea and using eye whiteners I was really struggling this January, I was in a terrible circle of decline. This is after going as far as America to see the best doctors in the world. On my doorstep was the best medical team I have ever come across. A massive thank you after going back to basics and some IPL's I am literally virtually back to normal. Very lucky to meet this team.

I recently had 2 cataract operations at Paragon clinic (in January and March) and would thoroughly recommend it. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff- they are an extremely friendly, professional and approachable team. All my queries before were fully answered and the aftercare from Mr Jenyon and the team has been amazing .
I opted to go to Paragon privately, on the advice of my optometrist, as Mr Jenyon is an excellent surgeon and also the greater choice of intraocular lenses privately.

I was directed to the Paragon clinic by my optometrist after he found a significant cataract in one eye. It was decided that I would have intraocular lens implants in both eyes about two weeks apart.
On arrival at the clinic I found the whole team very helpful, caring and welcoming, as well as being extremely professional.
Both procedures were carried out with the utmost care and consideration and the aftercare was thoroughly explained to me. A telephone number was also provided should I need to call at any time, which was very reassuring.
In conclusion I am extremely pleased with the result and can thoroughly recommend this clinic.

Totally recommend this clinic. Very highly skilled and professional team. Caring and considerate too. Nothing too much trouble. Am absolutely over the moon with the results of my treatment.

The receptionist staff I dealt with via email were polite and courteous.

I found however the experience on the actual day of my assessment for dry eye/MGD mixed and not as good as I'd hoped for based on these other reviews I'd seen. I felt the nurse and consultant I dealt with tried to have good intentions showing concern, but it came across as a bit demeaning and it made me feel uncomfortable. Whilst it is important to show concern where it is warranted, I feel there are better ways to go about it. They were very quick to blame certain aspects and whilst that was an aggravating factor, it was certainly not the full picture as I felt it was coming across to me at the time.

The communication and aftercare following my initial consultation letter also felt like it was lacking and I ended up seeking long-term support elsewhere. Personally, whilst they advertise themselves as a clinic for dry eye/MGD, I feel other clinics are better equipped, have better aftercare and demonstrate a better understanding to support patients with this complex issue.

Great experience from my first consultation to my procedure. All the staff from the receptionist to the nurses and doctor where so polite and made me feel very relaxed, comfortable and they where all so caring. The end results of my upper eyelid surgery where fantastic. If or when I need my lower eyelids doing I will definitely be going back to Paragon Clinic in Shrewsbury. Thank you.

Having decided to have a cataract operation on my left eye I set about researching how to go about it. Mr Jenyon was recommended to me by a friend and I was impressed with his qualifications and the fact that he taught others how to perform the operation. I contacted Paragon Clinic and had an initial consultation within a week. Mr Jenyon clearly explained what the procedure would involve and answered all my questions. He pointed out that the lens he would implant was superior to the one offered on the NHS which was an added bonus. The operation was booked the following week and was a complete success. I was so bowled over by the difference it made I immediately booked in to have the right eye done two weeks later. I am extremely pleased with the results.
The staff at Paragon deserve mention for their friendly welcoming nature. They were very efficient and explained every step carefully as well as being very reassuring. They also kept me well informed with dates and times of appointments by email.
All in all a very positive experience.

Excellent treatment from start to finish . I was finding it difficult to drive due to deteriorating eyesight . I was informed that the NHS waiting time for cataracts was 4 to 5 years . Saw mr Jenyon who said he could help me . I’ve now had both eyes done and my eyesight is brilliant and don’t need to wear glasses for driving and only over the counter ones (2) for very small print. Highly recommend Paragon Clinic .

After being totally dependent on prescription glasses since childhood, I decided to look into Lens Replacement. From the initial consultation back in September to being give the all clear now, I cannot recommend the clinic and all the staff enough. They are all super friendly and professional, explain everything thoroughly and make you feel at ease. I will actually miss chatting to them (and the coffee and biscuits of course! 😊). The results for me have been life changing and I am amazed that I do not need glasses for anything now, not even reading. Thanks for everything 🙏🏼 I will be recommending you to everyone 👍🏼

Following refractive lense replacement at the Paragon Clinic, I now have crystal clear 20/20 vision for both distance and reading and eliminated my dependence on glasses and contact lenses. This exceeded my expectations and I am delighted with the result. The implanted lenses incorporate the very latest lense technology and avoid the side effects associated with multi-focal type lenses offered by other clinics.

Mr Jenyon and his team of medical and admin staff at Paragon are highly professional, welcoming and friendly and as a glaucoma suspect my eye health will be monitored regularly going forward by another leading consultant at the clinic. The range of expertise offered at Paragon is second to none and I cannot recommend the clinic highly enough.

I have recently had two cataracts removed along with two new lens insertions at Paragon clinic.
Initially I was apprehensive and anxious about having the procedure.
What I thought would of been a traumatic experience was actually made so easy and relaxing here !!
The Consultant and staff are all extremely professional, experienced, knowledgeable, reassuring and friendly.

after an initial friendly telephone enquiry, resulting in a call back and consultation with Jenny, a quick appointment was made, from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly welcome, I went to have my eyes checked after I was diagnosed with AMD, the whole process was explained as I went through the system by the very knowledgeable and professional Jenny, nothing scary or painful happened, Jenny is so kind and patient, I would not hesitate to recommend the Paragon Clinic and would attend again if needed, thank you to the team

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel relaxed as much as possible before your procedure and tests
I had a complex lens requirement and had been to numerous clinics over the last few years who were unable to help.
Paragon were able to do so and the results are fantastic with great follow up work including a small clearup using the YAG laser which no extra charge was involved

After having had some rather confusing advice from another specialist it was a relief and a pleasure to meet a specialist who was prepared to take the time to go through all of my concerns and discuss each issue clearly and in depth. Mr Jenyon could not have been more helpful. The rest of the staff were also very kind and helpful, which made the whole experience very relaxed. I have no hesitation in recommending this clinic.

I had been under NHS care for Glaucoma for over 20 years and received no better treatment than six-monthly pressure checks and dispensing of eye drops. During this time my visual fields deteriorated and the intra-ocular pressures got less controlled. Fearing progressive blindness I decided to attend the Paragon Clinic where I was seen by Mrs Ranjit, the specialist in Glaucoma. She expressed immediate concern and talked about intervention (there and then) with laser treatment to try and open the eye's drainage channels. While this did assist in pressure reduction for a period, it was clear that a more radical intervention was required. I had cataracts which had swollen and increased the internal eye pressures so Mrs Ranjit recommended a combined procedure to replace the lenses and create flaps to allow the eyes to expel excess fluid. The operations were undertaken separately, with a two-month gap, and performed under general anesthetic. The intra-ocular pressures have reduced significantly and the new lenses are a revelation, especially having had to wear glasses for the last 57 years. Throughout the process the staff at the Paragon have been superb and Mrs Ranjit in particular, has been most attentive and professional throughout, demonstrating the highest level of skill and expertise.
