Bad, Bad, Bad

Account opened in February of 23. Still haven't paid all my debts. They took over as power of attorney, they took a credit card I didn't authorize, they took more money than they said they would, they didn't complete program in 14 months as told, they didn't lower my debt like they said, they didn't lower the amount owed, my credit tanked by more than 200 points when they knew I was doing this to buy a house. I wasn't in debt. I was paying my bills. I just wanted to consolidate and make one payment. I was sued three times, had to incur more court fees, then they had the nerve to ask for more money. Now, I pulled 4 accounts from them and left the ones that are being paid on. I also dissolved the legal component since I wont need it anymore. My monthly fee was to be lowered again to $300 starting in June of 25. Today I got an email, stating they are sending my account to another company (which turned out to be the same company just a name change). Can that even be legal? They are guaranteeing that nothing will happen. I don't believe it. I feel I going to lose all my current negotiating and they already took my money. I'm scared to even log into my escrow to see if they have been paying the creditors. My credit score has tanked so bad I can't find a lender for a home loan now. They knew what they were doing and didn't care. They knew this would ruin my credit score and didn't care. As everyone else said, didn't start negotiating until 6-7 months after account opened so that the cards would go into charge off. Starts with lowest amount first but never contacts the other creditors. Told me not to contact them because then they wouldn't settle if they knew I was working with a legal team. I had no idea they weren't responding to letters, or any correspondences to my creditors. That is not how I do business. Some of those accounts I had for years and never made late payments. Don't use this organization. I'm filing with my state's attorney general. Everyone should do the same. The State of Rhode Island sued Palisides and won. Palisides is closed and doing business as Concordia Legal Group.

This is the biggest rip off I've seen

This is the biggest rip off I've seen. Not to mention that they harass you at least monthly!!! They tell you to call them back and don't answer! Last month I spent 2 hours on hold over a week trying to call them back.They had my debt, so far I have actually been sued by 4 companies and the last one I dealt with by myself and getting it dismissed. They don't fight for you. Not to mention that I live on a VERY small income (disability)and they are taking over 2/3 of my money every month!!! And I just learned that they have extended this 2 years I have been paying them since March of 2023 @$410 And they upped it to $610 roughly but yet it was just supposed to be for 10 months at this rate... It's been over a year and a few months!!! They didn't care about me surviving a major car accident and the at fault driver didn't have insurance, and I was going to have to pay out of my pocket for medical stuff and another car
I was told oh sorry can you up your payment!?!? Can you ask your family and friends for money!?!? I was signed up under free legal and I found out that I am paying"legal representative fees" but I settled my own court case?!? Nope this company is a nightmare. I'm about ready to change my bank account.

Impossible to Get on the Phone

I have been calling and emailing for months and have not heard back from anybody at this company. As soon as they got my signature they became ghosts. They used to have monthly check in calls but that has not happened in quite a long time.

Palisade Misled Me & Ghosted 75% of my Initial Creditors +6 Months

While I completed the debt repayment process initiated with Palisade Legal Group, I was misled by them about steps they would take to help me.

They said they would reach out to my creditors and negotiate a payment plan and consolidate my debt to a single payment each month. I assumed this meant they would contact my CURRENT creditors at that time. This they did not do. They ghosted all but one of them. The one they did contact was Discover. They ghosted US Bank, PayPal Credit, and Citibank.

Palisade Legal Group ghosted my creditors until some of my creditors sold my debt to a 3rd party, then contacted the 3rd party to negotiate my debt. This was not explained up front to me, This was not expected to be an outcome scenario. This is not what I wanted them to do. This made me look terrible, possibly dishonest, and not trust worthy to my initial creditors. I had no idea they were going to wait until my debt was sold to institutions I never communicated or entered into business with, then negotiate with these unknown parties. US Bank even took me to court after Palisade ghosted them and transferred my debt to a 3rd party.

Maybe every other company of this type intends to mislead customers, but I don't know them. Sure, consolidating to a single payment was helpful and lowered monthly payment stress to a single date of the month for 3 years and made my life easier in the monthly payment cycle on one hand. But they did add stress to my life regarding them ghosting my creditors and me hearing from my creditors while I told the creditors Palisade was going to speak to them on my behalf. And for US Bank, Palisade never communicated with US Bank to my knowledge.

I just know Palisade led me to believe they would negotiate with the creditors I had at the time, but they did not with 75% of my creditors within +6 months.

I do not recommend you trust Palisade Legal Group.
That is unless you get it confirmed up front: who and when they will negotiate with your creditors. Then if you accept their commitments and terms, enter into business with them at your own risk.

(Yes, my Palisade account was transferred to be under the Concordia name towards the end. I don't now if the same people at Palisade are now employed under the Concordia name / business. I would not be surprised if the same behavior I experienced with Palisade would be experienced by other customers now with Concordia.)

Completely Useless since July 2022

I was trying to get $2,000.00 of my debt resolved to get a loan for a house. The guy I talked with said they could take care of all my debt. I said I couldn't do this if my credit score would get lowered. I was assured it was take a hit initially and would jump back up once they talked eith everyone, iit didn't, I didn't get the loan. About six weeks after signing with them I started getting calls from people claiming to be their lawyers. I contacted the customer service and was told their system got hacked and information had been taken and the people were scammers, I had no notification that had happend. Apparently they only pay one place at a time. I got a letter stating I was about to be sued. I called support and they were confused, then said they had a wrong number. They couldn't tell me when they had discovered a wrong number or what number was wrong. They agreed to call me at 5pm my time which is 3pm their time in California. They wouldn't call me at that time but would blow my phone up trying to get me to take a loan out. I am currently in a worse financial situation than before I sogned with them. I would call them a dumpster fire but a dumpster fire is useful as it can provide warmth for homeless people and Palisade is absolutely useless.

I was told by clientcare that calls I was receiving were scams as they had no notes that anyone tried to contact me and not to answer them. They could not answer a simple question of whwn they found a number was wrong and why they didn't contact me sooner. They agreed to call me at a certain time and never did, they called when they wanted. I was told my credit score would go back up quickly so I could get a loan and I would have extra money to send it. It did not and I could not get money I needed. My fiancée had a different group paid less money and all her accounts were paid from that and she didn't get sued. This group or the people I dealt with from California are absolutely terrible with this job and being any help at all. Again I asked a question and no one could give me an answer. This process is only frustrating when the people you hired are terrible at their job. Everyone I've talked to that did this with other companies had positive experience.

I tried to include all my accounts that…

I tried to include all my accounts that I was having problems with and I had accounts that were not included because you guys said that I cancelled and I hadn't but you guys said that you couldn't put it back in and I was always having problems with the payment date and you guys took money several times that I didn't authorize so I was stuck with it. And I never received any money back.

Being abandoned is not a good feeling

Being abandoned is not a good feeling.
Positive about them: They mostly did what they said they were going to do. They negotiated a lot of debt. They set up payment plans. They handled my money to move forward and start to pay them down. However, when I started to get sued by my creditors, they went AWOL on me. I had to end up being my own lawyer at the last possible moment, and I got scr*wed as a result. I was abandoned and not given any assistance or help at the end. So, I give them a 3/5, when they were 4/5 before this happened.

I’m still dealing with lawsuits and received no resolution.

I wrote this review earlier;

I paid Palliside for nine months and they didn’t make one single payment towards my credit cards. Instead the balance on all my cards, doubled with interest fees and late fees. There was over $3000 taken out of my account by them and not one penny went to the credit cards; they kept it all for fees. When I told them I’m going to close it -they said that’s fine and sent me a check for $100. Now my credit is completely ruined. As before I contacted them It was 700+, and with them it went down to 400 and as I said, my debt doubled!!! I was only paying $100 less a month than my regular payments. I wish I never responded to them in the first place. The only reason I did is because they told me I got a consolidation loan preapproved. Then once I excepted the consolidation loan, they told me I didn’t qualify it was just a debt repayment plan. Then they took money out of my account every month and put it in their account and I got nothing. it was a total scam and I am out over $3000, and my credit is ruined.

I called them back several times and they never returned my call. To this day, I am still getting sued by credit cards that I already paid according to Palliside! I find out they didn’t pay a dime on anything. The money they collected for nine months -they said was used for legal fees. What legal fees? They turned my 740 credit score down to 400 and ruined my credit. I only responded to them because we had lost our biggest account and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to keep up on my credit card payments. I paid them for nothing.I originally contacted them because they said I was preapproved for a loan and I needed to have $336 automatically withdrawn by them per month to qualify. After agreeing, they took out $336 every month which I thought was going towards paying off my credit cards. After the first two months, they told me it was not a loan, It was more of a consolidation where they would lower my debt, and make payments regularly. They lied to me outright every time I spoke to them. They did nothing for the money they got from me. I don’t even know how this company could be in business! This should be illegal. They should have to reimburse customers for the money they stole!

Their only response to everything is that they need more information. I feel as though I gave them all the information in detail, and besides they don’t specify exactly what information they need. I feel they have no intention of resolving anything. They got my money, and that’s all they wanted.

How to throw your money away…

After doing my research I found out how Palisades Law Group is a scam. They weren’t doing much after working on a few accounts, the money going in never accrued and when I closed the account I had $474 in escrow from payment they just collected, they only returned $80…. I asked them where the money went to and they said fees, but would not give me an itemized list of where the money went. They have now gone under a new name now, Concordia. People be aware of these thieves taking your money….

Tanked my credit

After 2 years of enduring this nightmare, with little to no progress, they 'sold' my account. My only credit card, the one I managed to obtain after they ruined my credit, was then abruptly closed without my knowledge. When I contacted them, they callously informed me that they had received an email with my social security number and falsely claimed that I was working with a debt consolidation company. This is a gross injustice! How am I expected to rebuild my credit under these circumstances? I am now considering taking out a real loan just to rid myself of Palisade (or Concordia, whoever currently holds my account). Their actions have caused me immense frustration and stress!

BEWARE…….

This company does nothing but lie to you to get your business. This company claims that they can lower your debt but their fees are insane high where you are not saving. They also drag there feet on getting anything done but when I call them my excuse is generally that “it is a process and it takes time”.

I have paid off all my debit and I am still waiting on my refund and it’s going on 3 weeks and they still haven’t refunded me my money. All they care about is the fees that they charge.

They Don't do what they say.

I thought everything was taken care of. Evidently, only 3 out of 4 accounts were being settled. I started with Palisade in 2023. I received a summons from the court recently, and called Palisade. I was told there was no need to respond, that it would be taken care of. I took them at their word and now, I am, by default (because I did not show up as instructed by Palisades), being sued by Upgrade for $10,672.58. About 1 month ago, We talked on the phone and the representative suggest I increas. my monthly payment. i told him I would think about it but not sure. I received an esign document but never signed it for approval. Today, my bank account was debited for the additional money that I never approved of. I'm on a fixed income due to a medical retirement, LBD Parkinson, and I can no longer afford these unexpected issues.
