It's a lottery
I don't think there's anything overtly wrong with this company. It's cool they plant trees and the giveaways are neat but I'd have to imagine it's generating them quite a profit and it's like a lottery basically. It's fun to think about what if I win but the likelihood is extremely low. I'd be more likely to subscribe if there was some other benefits besides the giveaways and the fact that they plant trees. I think their merchandises really overpriced Even though I like the designs. $70 for a hoodie is a little ridiculous in my opinion. If it was maybe 40 or 50 I'd likely grab one. I think they should sell off-roading accessories or camping accessories or maybe have a subscription article newsletter type thing. I just think most people end up subscribing because they want automatic entries into the giveaways but it's really sort of a waste of money when you're not getting much out of it otherwise.

Totally hear where you’re coming from. The giveaways are meant to be a fun bonus, but we get that not everyone sees the same value there. We’ve been working on adding more value beyond entries, so feedback like this actually helps point us in the right direction.
On pricing, that’s fair too. Our goal is to keep quality high and production ethical, but we know that can feel like a stretch depending on what you’re comparing it to. Definitely something we’re always evaluating.
Also appreciate the ideas around accessories and added content. That’s the kind of direction we’ve been exploring more of.
Thanks again for being real with us. It genuinely helps.

I liked that I could purchase entries and not have to deal with constant messaging and offers to purchase more. Like many other similar platforms. I feel better spending my money on a org. that seems to actually be an advocate for their cause and not purely money grab.

Picked up some gear from OVRLND and I’m impressed. The clothing is comfortable, fits true to size, and feels really well made. You can tell it’s quality stuff, not cheap material. I’ve already gotten a few compliments — definitely grabbing more.
