With my first pouch, I decided to carefully work out how much it costs compared to my preferred oat milk. In doing so, I found that the 800g pouch only makes exactly 6 litres of milk (not 8 Litres as the pouch states), when made using exactly 1 level scoop (20g) per 200ml of water (3 scoops per 600ml of water).

It's fine taste wise and has significant convenience benefits when using as a creamer when travelling etc, however I need to add an awful lot of it (both when mixed as directed or as a creamer) to get my drink to taste how I like it, which leaves me with a hot drink which is no longer hot and needs microwaving, which is a further step of faff.

The 1:10 mix is also very watery so a much smaller ratio would be needed to get anywhere close to a milk that you could start to describe as creamy.

It's a lot higher sat fat and sugars than my go to alternative - Lidl's 'Oat No Sugars' oat milk - which I prefer with the less sweet taste, plus it's quicker, easier, and works out a lot cheaper, especially as I don't need to add as much of it or use extra power for the microwave.

Also, our council recycles Tetra Paks but does not accept these plastic bags so it unfortunately ends up in the bin, unless you drive it to a supermarket (yet further faff).

Very worth having a bag for travelling, especially as it keeps for a long time, but I can't justify the cost for regular use and, based on all of the above, the longest subscription period will work out too regular for me.

The bottle is very nice and handy, including for sometimes decanting other milk into, but a shame it's not a more useful 1-litre size.

What a great product! We have found it so useful at home, where we can mix up what we need for a day or days, with no waste, also we recently took it on our 4 week campervan trip in the wilds of Scotland where we never had to worry about running out.

Fantastic product. I have been looking for something sustainable as well as containing good ingredients. This is a brilliant idea and I am happy to be giving my family something more nutritionally sound (with MCT instead of rapeseed and other emulsifiers) but still great tasting. My son can't have dairy so this is not just a lifestyle choice for us, it's an essential product he uses every day!

A very convenient product. Makes great oat milk without the package waste and you only make what you need so it doesn’t go off. Highly recommend.

Great customer service and great oat milk! It's so easy to mix up and then I'm ready for breakfast and coffee the next morning. It reduces so much waste it's fantastic!

We have been drinking no sugar Oatly as an alternative to dairy milk for quite some time and getting through quite a lot with breakfasts etc. We also travel a lot so when I saw Overherd on Instagram we had to give it a try. We started with a small pack then the starter kit and have recently subscribed. It’s so easy and way more flexible than having cartons. You can make up the amount you need and store it in washable glass bottles (supplied) take it with you and use it dry. Delivery is quick and efficient. So all round a 5 ⭐️ thumbs up.

easy to order , quick delivery , I make up 200ml every day and it tastes great . I love that it doesn't have any of the oil etc that you get in other oat milk...and I'm not adding to the plastic waste :)

I bought Overherd for my husband to try as we were going through so many cartons which bothered me so when I found Overherd it seemed such a genius idea. I also love that it is gluten free so have recommended it to my sons fiance who is gluten intolerant. My husband really liked it so I quickly set up a subscription. I prefer almond milk so if you could do the same with almonds that would be great 🙂

A great product! Really easy to use, very tasty (as good as any shop bought one), wholesome ingredients and much better for the environment.

Tried Overherd powder for the first time. Fantastic product! Tastes so much lighter than carton brands, mixes easily with hot drinks and smoothly with cold/warm water for cereal etc. Ordered starter pack and the travel tin. All great quality and a very good bundle price. So good I subscribed for regular deliveries the very day! Try it! You wont go back to cartons again… Lovely to know you're reducing waste for the environment too 🥳

Easy website to use, good product and the subscription service is very flexible and easy to update.

There's no other way to take oat milk! I use it every day for cereal and in coffee and love the ease, the taste and that it's SO much more eco friendly than alternatives. There's no going back once you've tried Overherd!

I love this “milk”. Such a brilliant idea to have it in powder form as I can use it when required and having it delivered and always having a supply at home. I love that I don’t have to use all the containers and have more for recycling. Great idea and thanks for the great initiative.

I love Overherd! Finally a dairy free milk that goes wonderfully in tea! So easy to store as it’s dry, easy to make up in useable quantities in the lovely glass bottle rather than having a whole litre carton sitting there going off. I also use it in cooking in curries, cakes etc giving a lovely, creaminess. Portable, take it anywhere. No seed oils, gluten free, sustainable. What more could you want?

Really tasty, no waste and you can take it abroad. Fantastic. I like the fact you can adjust it for your individual taste.
