We bought the Orla Kiely Ivy sofa large in green fabric because we absolutely love the mid century look and feel, and thankfully, we are happy to say, that unlike other sofa's in this style, this one is very comfortable.....
But, there are a few negatives! The one piece seat pad was looking a little squashed along the front edge, we thought we'd turn it to help spread the wear, but soon discovered that it can't be turned as there's a zip along the back and the piping does not run continuously around the edge, nor can you flip it, as there's no green fabric on the underside (to save on cost presumably) and what about removing the cover to wash it?...that's a no I'm afraid! So the seat pad and cover stay were they are.
One other niggle is that we have to constantly push the seat pad back into place as it creeps forward off the base leaving it overhanging the front of the sofa.
Bought 2 ivy sofas in glyde velvet, house plain with protection and cushions looking dirty even though not used much. Can't find any cleaning instructions and professional cleaners are wary. How can this be cleaned
We bought a corner Ivy sofa and snuggler chair from Orla Kiely. It looks fabulous in our room. However, after just 4 months the seat cushion has dipped considerably, it’s very noticeable and will soon look tatty. We paid a lot of money for the furniture and expected much better quality. We only sit on the sofa for a couple of hours in the evening as we have other sofas in the house and we are not heavy people. This may be faulty or a one off, so we contacted the retailer. They contacted Orla Kiely who refused to inspect or replace the inner foam cushion. They say this is down to use! It’s a sofa, of course we use it. If it has worn this much in 4 months I dread to think what it will look like in a couple of years. Our last, cheaper sofa lasted 18 years and still wasn’t dipped. We are very disappointed in the sofa and the very poor customer service from Orla Kiely. I would not buy again or recommend Orla Kiely. Our son bought a similar, much cheaper sofa from DFS at the same time and this is fine.
This is expensive furniture so I would expect decent quality and good customer service, sadly not the case

From product to customer service, Orla Kiely and team go above and beyond to bring beautiful and timeless pieces to their new and devoted fans. I personally wait on the edge of my seat for a new seasons drop! The customer service staff is top notch! I have a tendency to ask repetitive questions or need extra help. Often Jess will respond
with patience, grace, and all the right information. I recommend purchasing directly from the official OK website where you will get access to their outlet and a guarantee that products are authentic, and at their best prices.

I don’t usually write reviews, but just had to highlight customer service representative Jess. I mistakenly place wrong address on an item posted to USA and her patience, support and efficiency stood out. She kept in touch and promptly answered each email making me feel that I was a priority. The problem has been resolved and said item is now on its way to the proper address. She is such an asset to your company.

My wife likes Orla Kiely watches but the straps are so cheap and plastic they break after a very short time. This is at odds with Orla Kiely’s environmental claims on their website. We have to throw the entire watch away just because a strap cannot be replaced. It’s all very well claiming you recycle materials but if they are poorly produced and cannot be mended you become part of the problem. It is insanity to have to dispose of something as mechanically technical as a watch just because you want to save pennies on the strap. Make things to last, charge the correct price and maybe you can claim to be environmentally friendly. Until then it’s spurious and just looks like more prioritisation of profit over the planet and customers.

I am a big fan of Orla Kiely. I’ve purchased many items and love them all. Recently, I purchased a backpack. After a few months, I noticed a flaw in the stitching. I wrote to Orla Kiely, and was surprised to hear back quickly that they would replace it with a new one. I am so impressed. Not only are their products great, so is their customer service!

I love Orla Kiely products and I saw a lovely set of six mugs which had sold out at other retailers so I decided to order them. Unfortunately, one must have got broken in transit. I was naturally disappointed but accept that these things can happen from time to time. I got in touch with customer services and they replied promptly and have offered to replace the item. I have been happy with Orla Kiely’s products, service and after care. The company products are beautiful and the service is fantastic so they come highly recommended in my opinion. Big thanks to Jess from customer services.

I purchased a bag a few months ago.
I love the designs and own four Orla Kiely purses. The strap broke on my most recent purchase. I contacted customer service to see if they could replace the strap. They responded immediately. As the bag is no longer in production, the syrap could not be replaced. So, they refunded the
entire cost of my purchase. That is truly amazing customer service and shows a great deal of integrity.
Amazing is my just conclusion!!

I bought a duvet cover from them (stem) the quality is appalling - the pattern is printed on - a bit like a transfer, and I am awaiting a response from them. I wish I had ordered through John Lewis' because I know I can easily return unwanted items BUT Orla Kiely do not accept returns of bedding. Exorbitant postage prices.

My order hadn't arrived after a fortnight so I contacted customer services who promptly replied. They contacted the courrier, discovered that my order had been misplaced and generated a new order for me.
My order arrived within 24 hours.

I love my choice of fabric on my small ivy sofa and it looks fabulous in my lounge with the contrasting chairs and foot stool. The set was purchased from barker and stone house.
However, i have bought one of those sofas that has a seat cushion that creeps forward and needs to be lifted and replaced several times a day.
Thinking this was a fault barker and stonehouse promptly sent a technician who carefully checked the upholstery and all is well. The suggestion given that i should put a towel under the cushion to stop the creep. Obviously the last thing you want to do with a brand new sofa. But we have done so and it still creeps. We have also tried rug backing to no avail. The technician fell short of agreeing it was a design problem, but pointed out the cushions are not wrapped in a reversable fabric but have a cheaper base fabric that might cause the slide. Disappointed took the shine off.
Give 4 stars because i love it still and barker and stone house came out promptly. But it wasnt fast fashion price i want it to last... what to do!?
