Superb and extremely prompt communications from my first enquiry to the post installation follow up. Really impressed by the advice and choice of panels and batteries that best suited my installation and the level of workmanship . The hardware supplier offered a free EV charger which Orca installed at no extra cost even though it did require extra labour and some additional materials - a real bonus in future proofing my property . Costs were extremely competitive , I definitely got more for my money with Orca with highly skilled, efficient and friendly people . Genuinely recommend them to anyone .

Absolutely fantastic service throughout. The team were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and bent over backwards to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. The end result? Orca visited Thornbury RFC and specified the system that was best suited to our needs. The system included PV generation from 45 panels, a large inverter with scope for expansion and a 25kWh battery pack. The quote for the work was the most competitive of several quotes obtained. The date for installation was agreed, and the roofing team efficiently secured the roof support structure and panels, and then the electrical commissioning was completed in parallel. The system switch on occurred shortly afterwards and has been generating significant savings on electricity imported from the grid. This company is recommended by the Thornbury RFC Solar Project team for commercial installations.

Orca installed a battery (2 years ago) to complement an existing PV array, the works were carried out efficiently, great customer service too.
A recent glitch in the system, that was not an issue with their installation, was dealt with expediently by Karen and her colleague. I would highly recommend Orca to anyone considering renewable energy equipment.

Knowledgable team, competitive price, first class installation with great engineers on site who were smart, helpful, polite and tidy. Everything left working and my garage was cleaner than when they arrived. Couldn't ask for more.

Found all the Orca staff extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. The installation team took pride in their work which was nice to see.
My praise goes out to the Joao the electrician as it was not a straight forward install. But he took it in his stride.

Recently had Orca Renewables fit EV chargers at the workplace. Great experience, very knowledgeable. All works carried out to a high standard. From the initial survey at our house through to the installation of our chosen Powervault 20KW battery we had a very professional team of people at Orca carry out the work to a very high standard. The care to detail and making the job right was apparent throughout the installation. Resulting in a very neat and compact installation in the back corner of our garage. Making sure all worked well and that we knew how to manage the phone based software at the conclusion, combined with excellent office support in handling all the necessary queries and doing the paperwork needed with the authorities. Would highly recommend Orca.

Initially the team installed solar and one givenergy all in one battery. Not only did they do a great job helping me understand what I wanted but also fitting everything, they were the only company that seemed to know what they were doing with a flat roof. The end result not only looks great but functions how I had hoped. I've since had then back to fit a second battery. I could not recommend the team at Orca Renewables highly enough. A year ago, we asked Orca to give us a quote for a new consumer unit and an EV charge point. They were prompt and professional. The quote was the lowest by quite a significant amount. We had a financial crisis at home so couldn't find the money to go ahead with the work that year. A year on and we contacted Orca who agreed to do the work for the same amount as the quote from a year ago! We asked them for an installation date and a few days later, they were at our house carrying out the work. The electrician they sent was a very nice guy who was friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing at every step. I pride myself on being a perfectionist and I couldn't find anything wrong with the work at all. Even down to the distance from each side of the new consumer unit being equal. The previous work was a mixture of ages and types and there were no complaints about the mixed standards. Not only did he make the installation look amazing, he managed to completely transform the whole area by removing all of the unnecessary junk that was fixed to the wall as well as hide the cables behind the sheet of plywood fixed to the wall. The EV charge point was also installed to the same precise level of perfection and the site was left clean and tidy when he left. He also left his mobile phone number with us in case we had any questions regarding the new equipment; a fantastic personal touch. We have had contractors at our home in the past that have done a sub standard job and left a mess, or have been unpleasant or rude people. Our experience with Orca was not like this at all. They are an amazing team who seem to put the customer first. They were ready to answer all of our questions and provide an extremely competitive quote. If you are considering any electrical or renewables work, look these guys up. I can definitely recommend Thier work. We are extremely happy and will be using them again. 10/10 guys. Not being able to install solar panels in my apartment block I was advised to contact Paul at Orca Renewables to evaluate whether an Economy 7 tariff plus batteries and an inverter could save me money and contribute to climate change improvement by using electricity at night when the demand is very low and using the batteries to power the flat during the day. Paul made an on-site evaluation and then, once we had agreed on the solution, Joao came to install and get the system running. Joao did a fantastic job, was kind and considerate, discussed with me the various solutions for using the available space and generally made an excellent impression. I'm really happy with the result. I was introduced to Orca Renewables when I purchased a Powervault battery storage unit. Paul carried out the pre-installation survey, which resulted in the project expanding to include the fitting of more solar panels. The installation over two days was scheduled taking into account my availability. Since then, Orca Renewables have been back to upgrade the Powervault system and fit a MyEnergi Eddi Solar Diverter. Throughout my dealings with them, their communications, planning, workmanship and administration has been first class and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any future project.

They were recommended to me by Powervault when my Inverter failed - nothing to do with Powervault of course, they are just helpful. From the first phone call to the final Invoice everything was friendly and completely efficient. From first noting my Inverter had failed to being up and running again was not much more than a week. Just cannot fault them in any way.

We had our solar system with EV charger fitted last year on our industrial unit. We were shown all the options and cost saving very clearly, and a full plan of how it would work and look. They did a great job and very professional!

It saved us so much on our energy bills, we have just had more panels fitted and a dedicated solar EV charger installed.
