Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Just want to cancel and pay (I moved from area- LOng Island) A half hour on the phone, switched to 4 different representatives in "retention department". Impossible to cancel. They can bill me for enternity; not paying! Avoid Optimum at all costs.

After reading reply, I called the Retention Dept. number suggested, and was told I cannot cancel until 2 days before the end of the billing period, which unsuprisingly, is Jan. 31. The agent refused to acknowledge that I called on December 26, 5 days before the end of the Dec. 31 billing period, and was told I had to call back today, December 29 (which is still 2 days before the end of the current billing cycle.. Oh, and I turned in th emodem a week ago. She said there is nothing she could do, I I should read my bill.

So, Mr./Mrs. Social media person, you are misinformed when You say that "this is not the experience I should have received". The "Retention Department" is set up to give me exactly this type of experience to bleed extra dollars out of your unfortunate customers. My comments stand.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AVOID

Optimum mobile is a criminal enterprise. I tried to cancel my service they wouldn’t give me a transfer pin kept offering items and refused to let me go. They actually were laughing when I got upset. Then billed me for another month and now keep charging me $10 late fees. How this companyjiannotbunderbjnveatigation by the New York State attorney generals office is beyond me.

Bait and Switch.

I was offered internet and mobile service via an ad mailed to my home in the dollar amount of $55.00.By the next month they were billing me $148.00 a month. I finally complained to the FCC who put me in touch with their executive office. In the meantime they turned off my internet in an effort to gain access to my checking account. That will NEVER happen. They are extremely crooked

Optimum- Think Twice- Incompetent Customer Representatives Plus No Flexibility

Optimum stinks. They have low level employees working, getting paid but not doing there job. Have spoken to 4 customer service reps and one supervisor. They never processed my payment that was clearly taken out of my bank account. Have provided proof thru the chat as a representative said I could send it thru the chat. Today is October 20th. The back end billing deptment seems to have their head up their butt and ignored the proof of payment provided in the chat. After speaking with a supervisor today and a representative I am told all of a sudden that the only way to provide that is thru fax machine. Not paying my optimum bill. Verizon all the way baby- anything is better than dealing with the incompetence and sheer waste of time in circles. And why wouldn't the chat be an acceptable way of getting the billing deptment the proof of payment.?
Ridonculous!

Unable to set up visual voice mail

Unable to set up visual voice mail. Went to Optimum Store, said they couldn't help cal *611 for help which didn't work so I went to online chat for 2 1/2 hours still no visual voice mail. Was going to switch our other phones from Verizon. Not switching after such terrible customer service.
