Sizing is awful

Sizing is awful, trousers to tight on the inseam but too long, jacket was comically large. Im a 32 waist and got a medium, I even went one size below the recommendations by Oppo. Then I had to pay a total of £34 in shipping and returning fees. Do not buy from Oppo

Sizing guides are just plain wrong

I bought a suit and a shirt. The suit was size 40 and fit relatively well - trousers a little baggy, but the waistband was perfect. Jacket also a little large but it's all because I don't have the perfect body shape (37" chest, 34" waist, 38" belly), and the suits come as one set.

The shirt on the other hand... size medium, the sizing guide said to fit 100cm (39") chest and that they run small so go up if necessary (the next size down was 92cm (36") so obviously with a 37" chest I went for the 39"). Unfortunately it was an absolute tent - measuring from button to hole it was actually 116cm (45.6"). The delivery cost was over £12, and the returns cost is also over £12! Quite a lot to waste on completely incorrect sizing.

I emailed them to ask if it was abnormal and what size I should actually get, given how off their size guide was (they also have a generic size guide on the site which is completely different to the one on the products themselves, and it's closer to what I received but still a bit off) and their reply was 100% AI. I followed up and the response was also just AI again, so customer service from this company is zero.

The suit / shirt look to be quite well made and nice quality, but good luck finding something that actually fits!

Lush Blush Pink Suit

I was overall happy with the suit! I ordered the lush blush suit in size UK 36. Fit was pretty good but slight tightness in the groin area, some tailoring also needed to make the trousers a little slimmer for personal taste. Quality is also decent for the price, the suit looks like the picture

The worst. Never again

This company is based in the Netherlands, so if you want to return an item, you have to follow a convoluted returns process and pay ~£17 for the international return. That is the cost of a signed-for service (because just look at other reviews, Opposuits will flat out deny having received the return if you don’t pay extra for a signed-for service).

I returned an item on 11 April and can see it was received in the Netherlands, released from customs and delivery attempted. The tracking info now says it can’t be delivered due to an exceptional event. No doubt Opposuits have found a way to refuse delivery and keep my money for their inaccurately-sized suit (which is available for much less on Amazon anyway). Horrible experience, will never use Opposuits again.

Do not use this company

I ordered a suit from Opposuits. When it arrived it was much smaller than expected so I arranged a tracked return following the company's return policy using tracked Royal Mail which included a customs declaration form.

A few weeks later the parcel was returned to me with labelled 'No Response' meaning the company did not take in the parcel when it was delivered to them.

When I took this up with them, the reply was 'oh that's annoying'! and stating that customs did not receive my parcel! I have checked the tracking and this is untrue. I have received no apology or offer of compensation for the £14 postage to return the parcel, just repeated excuses.

I now out of pocket by £100 for a suit that doesn't fit me and the return postage!

Do not touch this company. I feel I have been well and truly scammed!

Terrible sizing

Terrible sizing. Ordered a 38R (US) and jacket fit perfectly. Pants on the other hand couldn’t even come close to zipping/buttoning. I’m not a large person either. Would be much better if you could order separate pieces. Nice try though! Do not recommend unless you are an absolute bean pole.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. Never received and no refund. Ordered a suit on 27/07 & no trace of it from 29/07. I am not allowed to cancel and not offered a refund. Today is 19/08. They do not know where the parcel is and are investigating which could take up to 2 weeks … and all this time they have my money.

Expensive for what they are and Very very poor returns!

Very poor returns. Expensive and Opposuits refused to pay duty to the courier after the item was sent, meaning it was returned to me.

I had purchased 3 suits and was only returning 1.

Very slow to respond to countless messages advising them of the return, many of which were just ignored.

Material feels cheap.

Sizing is odd and trousers do not fit well. They are very short in the groin.

Like others who have left reviews here, I would not recommend Opposuits and would avoid using this Company

Poor quality, expensive to return, and the return was refused

It's not often I review but I was so frustrated by this and want to save anyone else from throwing the best part of £100 up the wall.

I purchased a boys suit and shirt from opposuits.co.uk in line with their size guide. It fitted badly and was of poor quality (thin, short and wide to be precise). Opposuits accepted the return request within reasonable time and I spent a whopping £16.50 in p&p returning it to The Netherlands (although I'd purchased off a .co.uk website, so was surprised by this).

The £16.50 p&p aside, the parcel has been RETURNED TO SENDER, meaning they didn't accept the parcel when it arrived in the Netherlands and I've got it back!

Opposuits were friendly enough when I emailed, saying they wouldn't have refused the parcel, that the address they gave me is correct (is it? or is this part of a con?), and it's Royal Mail's fault, but Gd help me trying to get through to Royal Mail. I eventually got hold of them and they explained the parcel had been out for delivery twice.

Opposuits have not offered to pay for the return. Whilst friendly in their emails, they have not offered to help in any way. Am I expected to pay another £16.50 to try to send it back to them again? And what happens if they don’t answer the door, or accept the parcel again. Do I keep throwing money at this to get an £75 refund?? Feel well and truly scammed.

Poor quality and weird sizing

The sizing of the items is all over the place and the guide in the website seems to be unreliable. They suggest getting the alterations and rely on the cost of postage putting you off returns (it cost me about £12). So I've paid around £17 for a nothing. The suit itself isn't very good quality either.

Slow delivery - 7 days shipping.

Just purchased my third suit from them, and have to say, a marked drop in service. I received my first two suits within 48 hours, but now I received an email saying my parcel will be delivered on Monday. A full week after I ordered it, in spite of it being shipped on the same day. I have never even heard of Post NL.
I guess even Opposuits have tried to save money by creating a poor experience for the customer.

Wow!

Wow, actually impressive! Ordered on December 3, arrived 13 in Italy, nice packaging and PERFECT fit according to the size chart and their suggestions to order the larger. I'm satisfied the best, well finished suit, accurate cut.

Disappointing customer service

Have bought 5 suits from Opposuits. When the tie was lost at a Christmas event I contacted them to see if they could sell me a replacement. A definite no. Saddened by the lack of thought to a good customer. Say they just don't have the material to do such. They are quick enough to make money on face masks though. Won't buy from them again. A crowd of friends have bought a total of 20 suits. I won't be recommending again. Ended up finding the suit on eBay with the tie so bought the while lot again but cheaper.

I should be a spokesperson/ambassador for Oppo!

Highly recommend Oppo suits even more so after my experience with Stagsuits (see Stagsuits review for more details) I’ve been buying Opposuits for some years now and can say that they deliver high quality every time! They are friendly, helpful and have loads of fabulous suits to choose from. I have over 40 of there amazing suits and will continue to buy them. Unlike most of there customers I use mine lots not just for parties or stag dos, I use mine professionally all year round! For children’s parties, adult cabarets, close up magic, Rat Pack singing, corporate events, hosting/comparing large award ceremony’s and huge town centre light switch ons, to name but a few. Many refer to me as the suit guy and most of my friends and family say that I should be a spokes person/ambassador for the company! I work with loads of different celebrities each year and they love the suits. I get plenty of publicity for Oppo on social media because of it. I always tell people when they ask where the suit is from, where to get it etc. I hope that Oppo see this and realise just how much I use and love there suits. I even accessorise with matching/complimentary handkerchiefs, belt buckles, socks, braces, tie clips/pins, shoes and lapel pins! Many events when I’m hosting I change my suits between other acts! Think my personal record is 12 different Opposuit changes over a 3hr show!

My only small constructive criticism is the Oppo label they put on the suit sleeve is not easy to take off and sometime marks the suit (only very tiny marks but non the less a mark) they don’t really need this label on it. Also they should offer the chance to just buy items separately for regular customers. For instance I damaged a pair of trousers when performing on stage and to replace them I’d have to buy the whole suit again which makes for an expensive pair of trousers. Also sometimes they over stich the pockets up and when you undo them they sometimes tear the lining. They also need to have a think about smaller sizes on the ladies suits and also since they charge the same the ladies suits should come with a tie as well and make them a dresses and a jacket instead of a skirt and a jacket, you’d sell more I’m sure! We’d have more then two of them as we’ve brought quite a few from a rival company that make better ladies suits that really “Stand Out”

Keep doing a great job Opposuits and I think I’ve earned at least one free suit by now 🤔🤔🤔🤔 xxx
