Waste of time and money. Freezes up constantaly and has lots of bugs. It has gotten worse over the years. Not reliable. Customer service is trash.

Great Program!
I really have enjoyed Upkeep, and I was very surprised to learn our staff seems to enjoy it as well. We are a 1 full-time and 1 part-time maintenance team in an old facility with 18 other employees, so we are constantly trying to stay on top of a huge variety of issues. So far Upkeep has helped me stay organized and has improved our departmental communications a lot.
It is free to add the 18 employees to our account as requesters, and now I usually receive requests promptly when people see problems. It was not that way before Upkeep, since our grounds are very spread out, and people felt like they didn't want to "bother me with small issues" by texting or calling me. Now the issues are easy for me to assess by priority, there is record of the issues, and I can assign them to other workers or even 3rd party contractors if I need to. When I update work orders, those it pertains to are automatically informed if they choose to use their notifications.
At first the cost was a bit of a leap for us, since we have tight budgets and are a non-profit. I tried it out and maxed out my work orders, then made the leap once I learned it was half-price for non-profits.
So far the Upkeep team has been very responsive to any issues I've had, and they have helped me resolve a few glitches. The only downsides for me are that a few glitches can sometimes cost valuable time. They are responsive to the issues, but I may not be able to text with them over an hour to try and resolve it. But I sincerely appreciate that they are working on it.
It is not as customizable as I would like... You cannot rearrange the defaults for how the app opens, so you need to adjust filters every time. For example, I would like to see past due items and time sensitive items first, but I constantly have to close out my backlog items (ones w/ no due date) first. If it remembered my preferences it would be easier, so I could choose to see only work orders for this month etc. You can filter it that way, you just have to filter it each time you open the app. If I had a bigger team I could see this being more of a problem, since it doesn't remember your filter preferences, thus costing you more time, fumbling with the app (i.e., whose work orders you want to see, sorted by date, etc.).
Another area of concern is in recurring work orders. I love the idea of recurring work orders because my work is so seasonal/cyclical. It helps me plan for the future and stay organized. However, the recurring work orders always seem to get a bit glitchy: duplicates show up, changes you make disappear, it shows next years work orders too far in advance.... All in all, these are small annoyances that I hope will be ironed out.
At the end of the day, Upkeep has worked for me with a staff that's not very tech inclined, and they actually seem to like it. That makes me happy, and improves our communication, timeliness, and productivity.
If the glitches got ironed out it would be 5 stars no question.

Centralized management of multiple facilities and assets
Very good portal by which to centralize our building management requirements. Ticket based system and asset management allows us to properly schedule repairs as well as ongoing maintenance and we are able to track equipment failures over time so we can make better decisions on whether to repair or replace. Plans to roll this out further and use in other departments of our facility. Really great app!

It works great for us!
We like it - we have lots of buildings that are spread out over a large area so this has been helpful to centralize maintenance requests. We haven't had any trouble with the actual mechanics of the site. The ability to upload pictures is especially helpful. Thanks for asking for out input.

Great app with all the features we need.
This app is very easy to use. Even my husband who doesn't have a lot of time or patience for tracking anything, was sold right away. We are a small business but this would work great for a wide range of types and sizes of businesses. We use it to track customer orders (assembly to delivery to invoice) for our products. You can add a photo, assign users and see anything outstanding at a quick glance! The vendor is great to work with. All questions are answered right away and they are always improving it and adding new features.
