Absolutely terrible experience with OnTrac. I honestly do not understand how this company is still in business.
I ordered an expensive wallet from Ridge Wallet as a gift for a family member who is being deployed overseas with the U.S. Military. This was not just some random package — it was a meaningful gift with important timing behind it.
I received a delivery notification from OnTrac stating the package had been delivered. I immediately went outside, and there was absolutely nothing there. I then checked the tracking information and clicked on the so-called “proof of delivery” photo. The photo was not even my house.
Let that sink in: they delivered an expensive package to the wrong address, provided photographic evidence proving it was the wrong house, and still failed to correct the issue.
I contacted OnTrac to start an investigation. Within ONE DAY they closed the investigation and basically told me there was nothing they could do and to contact the merchant. No accountability. No real attempt to recover the package. No urgency. No meaningful customer service whatsoever.
Their support system feels completely disconnected and indifferent. When a delivery company mishandles packages this badly and then refuses to properly investigate obvious proof of misdelivery, customers are left helpless.
This company handled an important military deployment gift with complete incompetence and zero care. I would strongly recommend avoiding any retailer that ships through OnTrac whenever possible.
I ordered shoes off of eBay and they shipped them via ontrac. It’s been over 2 weeks now, 5 days past the expected delivery date, I sent 3 separate emails finally they update it as unable to locate.
I am extremely disappointed with LaserShip / OnTrac’s service. My package (tracking number ending in 7324) was marked as delivered at 11:56 AM, but my security camera footage clearly shows that no delivery was made to my address at that time.
What makes this situation even more concerning is the contradictory tracking information. The tracking history shows the package as “Out for Delivery” in Paulsboro, NJ at 11:56 AM, while at the exact same time it was marked “Delivered” in Wilmington, DE. It is impossible for a package to be in two different states at the same minute. Additionally, the OnTrac website displays the delivery location as Paulsboro, NJ, while my actual delivery address is in Wilmington, DE.
After contacting customer support multiple times, I received nothing but template responses and no real assistance. I was eventually told that the package could not be recovered. Calling customer service was equally frustrating because no one answers the phone.
LaserShip / OnTrac has not provided any proof that the package was actually delivered to the correct address. No photo confirmation, no clear delivery details, and no meaningful investigation were provided despite my repeated requests.
A delivery company should be accountable when a package is misdelivered. Very poor customer service and a completely unacceptable experience.
Ordered a Basketball jersey from Nordstrom, tracked my package today and it said delivered with photo proof inside the wrong apartment complex, possibly even faked if wrong doing is involved, and of coarse no delivery to me, despite false claim and a pic of the wrong location, yet claiming delivery on there site, I reached out to nordstrom and ontrac to file a claim and potential refund or resend of the item, never seen anything like this honestly
Very disappointing and honestly disturbing delivery experience with OnTrac.
The driver was unable to access the building because the buzzer system was apparently not functioning properly, despite me attempting to let them in. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the driver repeatedly rang and continuously held down my apartment buzzer for an extended period of time, creating an extremely loud and stressful disturbance inside my apartment.
The behavior became aggressive enough that I no longer felt comfortable going downstairs to interact with the individual directly. To make matters worse, the driver then wrote directly on my package in marker afterward.
Technical access issues happen in apartment buildings all the time. Repeated aggressive buzzing and writing on a customer’s package is completely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior.
I reported the incident and hope the company takes it seriously.
They say delivery attempted but never ever actually attempt. I have been waiting outside all day just to get a message that a delivery was attempted...where!? Horrible serrvice...never got my order...
This delivery service was informed four times of our business hours. They continue to attempt delivery after hours.
This place must hiring uneducated delivery drivers! I will make sure my supplier knows not to use this useless company. Their drivers walk through our landscaping knocking stuff over and throws my package across the porch. My home cameras have it all recorded. Maybe we should press charges for property damage? I will take this to all of social media with the video to shows how unprofessional this place is.
OnTrac delivered my package to a community town center mail room after hours, leaving it on the floor in front of a bunch of random mailboxes. When my husband went to get the package it had been stolen. Why deliver to a town center that is closed when it could have been delivered directly to my house?
I contacted OnTrac and they said the driver showed it was delivered and refused to explain why they didn't just drop it off at my house.
Chewy needs to stop using this company. Our dog has cancer and we ordered her medication which was pretty time sensitive. When we called Chewy, they said they couldn’t find our address and asked if they needed a code. There was no communication from the driver at all. Chewy has now agreed to ship all of our deliveries FedEx and said anyone can make that request.
I will no longer do business with any company that uses OnTrac shipping service. Packages get shipped to the wrong destination, tracking isn’t kept current, no way to speak with a representative when there is an issue. You’re just left in the dark with no answers and no help.
A shipping company should have the ability to send packages to the correct destination. My package was coming from a town in Pennsylvania, 2 hours north of the destination, also in Pennsylvania. The package was put on the wrong truck and went to New Jersey, then on to Maine. Maine!! Instead of going two hours south, it went several hours north. A shipping service that doesn’t understand the difference between north and south should not be in the delivery business. This is the second time out of three shipments I’ve had problems with deliveries going to the wrong location.
Chewy uses this company and for that reason, Chewy just lost a customer until they no end their contract with OnTrac.
On May 3rd 2026 On Trac delivered a plant I ordered from Fast Growing Trees to the wrong address. When I contact this company the response is AI generated. You don't get to speak to a live human. It is frustrating and customers should request that On Trac must not be used for shipping and run them out of business. Unreliable, unaccountable and incompetent company.Put them out of business.They don't deserve any star.
Poor. They keep saying they can't deliver to a business because its closed and return the packages. It's our residence and pretty sure we are always open.

The delivery guy through my package to the front of door saw it on my Ring camera.

The delivery driver for OnTrac had no concern for the well being and safety of the contents of my package. She just pitched it to the base of my front door completely ignoring all instructions to deliver to the side patio area where the package should have been placed, not thrown, on the table in the patio area where it would have been out of the rain and safe from view. The package contained expensive electronics and may be damaged.
Says package delivered. Got the picture of my package on someone else’s porch. Wrong house again! I will never again shop any company that uses OnTrac.
OnTrac is the absolute worst shipping company Ive ever had to deal with. I placed an order that got shipped through them and when it said delivered they sent a photo that wasnt even my house. It wasnt anywhere near my address and I couldnt even recognize the spot.
I reached out to OnTrac support through their chatbot on the website. They did some investigation and said theyd reach out to the seller but nothing happened so I had to get a refund.
I really needed the item so I ordered it again. This time I made sure to contact OnTrac myself and gave them my exact GPS coordinates plus I confirmed my full address. I thought for sure that would fix it.
Nope. A few days later I get another delivered notice and the photo showed it left at a totally different house again. Not even the same wrong place as the first time.
I dont get how their system messes addresses up this bad or if their drivers just dont care. Either way it’s ridiculous. They turned a simple delivery into a total nightmare and wasted so much of my time.
I will never use anything shipped by OnTrac again if I can help it. Stay away from them if you can.
I don't believe there is any hope for this company. Please liquidate and let the professionals do the delivering. Never ever on time and usually damaged when finally arrives! Basically they suck and should not be in business!
