I had accidentally sat on my glasses and broke them. Having ordered from you before I just needed replacement frames as lens was still intact. They were easy to pop in, came very quickly and very reasonably priced. Very happy and have recommended to a friend
Still no glasses
Still no glasses, still no email after numerous emails requesting update and refund. Strongly advise not to order from this website. Over 6 months for a pair of Safety glasses.

7 August 2025 - I placed an online order for £164.94.
12 August - they contacted me by email asking for a copy of my prescription, which I sent the same day.
29 August - Silence for 3 weeks. I emailed them asking for an update, reminding them that their website indicates that glasses would be dispatched within 3 to 5 working days and more complex prescriptions taking up to 14 days.
29 August - they emailed to explain that the clock started ticking on 14 August and not 7 August, followed by further silence.
9 September (i.e. 5 weeks after the initial order) - I emailed them requesting that my order is cancelled and requested a refund.
10 September - they emailed confirming the cancelled order and the processing of the refund.
19 September - I emailed them chasing my refund. No reply.
23 September - I emailed them chasing my refund. No reply.
25 September - I emailed them chasing my refund. No reply.
29 September - I emailed them chasing my refund. No reply.
29 September - Dispute raised via bank (PayPal)
9 October - No progress and I have not received my refund i.e. 2 months after initial order.
According to the company's website glasses would be dispatched within 3 to 5 working days and more complex prescriptions taking up to 14 days. There's nothing accurate about that.
Shocking customer service, worse customer experience, very poor communications and of course no performance whatsoever. They took my money and failed to return it. That is not only dishonest but it is stealing.
Doesn't this put you off online transactions. The time and the effort you have to put in to either receive the item or obtain a refund.
I'm out-of-pocket £164.94. My conclusion is that this company is a sham and a scam. Beware!

Hoya Balansis Varifocal Lenses fitted to my own frames. I am well-pleased with the result - an excellent choice of lenses (recommended by Online Opticians UK), a perfect job was made of fitting the lenses to the frames.

After initial telephone conversation, I received a pre paid envelope to send my glasses in for reglazing. Less than 2 weeks later I received my glasses with a quality lens installed to my prescription. I did chase them after 10 days but did not manage to get through. But when the glasses arrived this morning by Royal mail; I was very happy with the service and quality... hence 4 stars not 5
UTTER SCAM
UTTER SCAM! They returned the glasses claiming they were unusable. Months later I'm still waiting for the refund. Emails are ignored. Phone calls are ignored. Considering legal action. AVOID!

Received my reglazed glasses they we're varifocals distance is fine but can't read out of them, can't be bothered to send them back & wait yet again my prescription was submitted, will not be using this company again, better off going to an opticians paying more
Impossible to return
I need to return my glasses for the 'no quibble refund' but there are no details on how to do this on the website, nobody ever replies to emails or answers the phone (I think they've blocked my number, since I did get an answer once, when I was chasing up the glasses before they arrived). I've been trying to contact them for three weeks. AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

No communication with update. Had to email them.
Finally got the two pairs of glasses that were ordered and the lenses were on the wrong frames. Was told not possible as computer checks everything- why would I make it up!
Had to use my own money to send back- was told they’d reimburse me the money.
They admitted to their mistake and the fault being on their side as the glasses WERE made wrong. Told I’d be discounted.
No email communication with update. Had to keep emailing them. Was also told glasses would be made the next day- this didn’t seem to be the case.
Finally got the two pairs of glasses
Again was told they’d discount my order.
Three times in total they said they’d discount my order and reimburse my money for postage back to them. Emailed for an update on this and 8 emails later to them and NOT ONE RESPONSE.
Sent them a letter stating my disappointment and also included all emails saying they’d reimburse/ discount my order and asked for a reply in 7 days. Still no reply to anything!!!
Ordered 6 July 2025 and only got useable/ wearable glasses on 15 August 2025!
Absolute jokers. Won’t be ordering from them again and won’t recommend to anyone. Don’t know how they’re making a living with their incompetence.
Absolutely loving my new glasses
Absolutely loving my new glasses. The service was fast and efficient, the clarity of vision is excellent and the frames are beautiful. Such a reasonable price too.
Avoid—poor communication and no fulfilment
I placed an order for prescription glasses and paid promptly. The goods were never supplied, and most of my emails and voicemail went unanswered. When I requested a refund, I was ignored. In the end, I had to raise a chargeback through my bank to recover the money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Absolutely 5 stars. The glasses are excellent quality, fit perfectly, and it’s clear this company really knows their craft. They respond to questions quickly and efficiently, which made the whole process straightforward.
I will admit I caused myself unnecessary stress by not reading the delivery information properly and letting some negative reviews worry me, but that was on me. The service and product are both top-notch, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality glasses and responsive, professional service.
Refunds never issued.
I felt the customer experience lacked transparency. The lenses I originally paid for weren’t suitable, so I was offered a cheaper alternative — I was happy with the support on that. I emailed the company to ask whether there would be any risk of tax or duties, and was told there wouldn’t be. However, I later received a notification requiring payment, with the assurance that I would be refunded. No refund was ever issued in either scenario.
Additionally, I paid for replacement nose pads which were not replaced. When I asked, I was not informed that the company hadn’t ordered them — instead, the existing pads were simply cleaned. Again, no refund was offered.
