My first holiday with One Traveller and what a wonderful experience.
From the moment I booked my trip to my return to the UK all service has been 5* plus.
The tour manager and guide, accommodation, transport and all the excursions were outstanding. I hope one day to book another trip with OT ....... where to I wonder!

Hotel quality.
Until recently my numerous holidays with one traveller have been very good/excellent. However I have experienced significant issues with my last 3 holidays with 1 Traveller, particularly with the quality of the hotels. The standard is definitely dropping to the extent that I no longer consider that I am getting value for money despite being offered (inadequate) compensation.

I've enjoyed two One Traveller trips
I've enjoyed two One Traveller trips, both long-haul destinations, and I can say confidently that these guys and girls know what they're doing. india Golden Circle with Onetraveller.
The most wonderful holiday I have ever had.
Our tour manager Simon met us at Heathrow. With 16 in the party it was a good numer to get to know everyone. Abhi our Indian guide made the country come alive explaining how everthing worked. He sorted all the entry tickets and organised numerous rickshaws tuck tucks and jeeps to get us all around.
I will return to India with Onetraveller to Kerela

Amazing
The group was amazing, friendly and sociable. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The cities chosen were very historically interesting. The dining was good quality local food which was tasty and enjoyable. The group tour leader was excellent, his knowledge of the area was fantastic. I have booked my next holiday already.

Duro cruise - very nice
Did the Duro cruise. Mostly good though I paid maximum for the larger room with private patio only to find crew left generator immediately below my room on all night - so apalling sleep and crew unhelpful dealing with this. Boat was good, crew generally very good and food lovely though lacking choices. Trips okay though I avoided some and rested on board in the all inclusive bar area and just watched the world go by - lovely. It was a pity that, unlike other providers, main winery visit was on last day when packing done, so unable to purchase port because of hand luggage restrictions. Tour guides good.

Had a good holiday overall but at first…
Had a good holiday overall but at first despite being an early booking, they only offered me a cabin with a blocked view on a level I hadn’t asked for nor paid for as I had upgraded so that entailed a few emails back and forth to get what I was rightfully due. I was also told verbally and by a letter into the cabin that we would be refunded for trips we (through no fault of our own) didn’t get to have. A month later and after numerous phone calls and emails still nothing!
Adding another sentence - still no satisfactory conclusion to my issue another month on from posting original review and further phone calls.

Superb organisation and planning from a to z.
One Traveller would get 100% except for one detail that is beyond their control: I'm a male and the other 29 people on my senior tour were female!!! To start with, their website is the best for explicit, accessible information. Then, the tour itself was perfectly planned and organised, in particular the tour managers, who took care of every detail and were endlessly solicitous of the welfare of all 30 of us, especially me, the eldest. If you're a senior solo female, it gets 100%. If you're a senior solo male, only my proviso above might affect you....or might not!

Sending mail shots to my dead mum (who died 8 years ago)
One traveller have bought my deceased 90 year old Mum’s data from Sagacity! One Traveller’s latest (last week) mailshot for their latest advertising campaign was sent to my deceased Mum’s address (she died 8 years ago). It was forwarded onto me by the new residents at her old address. Sagacity have been asked for the last year to remove these out of date details as it is very distressing but they ignore the requests. The DPA rules mean nothing to them.

We are truly sorry for the distress this mailing caused and appreciate how upsetting it must have been to receive post addressed to your late mother. Please accept our sincere apologies for the hurt this has caused, clearly this was never our intention.
One Traveller takes data protection and respect for individuals extremely seriously. The contact details used for this mailing were obtained in good faith from Sagacity, a long-established data provider and ABTA partner who came highly recommended within our industry. We were not aware that the details related to someone who had passed away, nor that previous removal requests had been made. That said, we fully recognise that the source of the data does not lessen the emotional impact this situation has had, for which we truly apologise.
As soon as this was brought to our attention, the record was immediately removed from our systems to ensure no further contact. We are now raising this matter directly with Sagacity’s Data Protection Officer to understand how this occurred and to help prevent anything similar from happening in future.

Austrian Lakes for Christmas
Austrian Lakes for Christmas. Well organized tour, good, friendly hotel, excellent food and activities plus a fantastic tour manager, Tom Middleton. He bent over backwards to make sure everyone was happy. Only one complaint…..the bus driver was very good but never cleaned the outside of the bus, unlike other coach company drivers. Hard to see out of the windows!
