NEVER USE THIS PLATFORM

Recently I got a ticket from OneRPM that they have detected an unusual activity regarding one of my song. 1000 streams from USA appeared out of nowhere which looked like some bots. I have never bought any bots and I haven’t used any paid service to falsely boost my streams. I uploaded this song 3 years ago and never cared about the number of streams.

But OneRPM decided to inform me that they requested a removal of my song from all platforms and that I basically cannot do anything to stop this unless I provide proof of the real source of these streams. But how are they expecting me to prove something I had nothing to do with?

I genuinely have no idea where this ‚suspicious activity’ came from. It could’ve even be a random person that saw my music and decided to either make me feel nice about the stream income or they knew what they were doing and wanted my song to get taken down and paid for fake streams to flag my account. I genuinely have no idea and I informed OneRPM about this asking them to investigate it and to stop blaming me and punishing me for this.

I messaged them back and forth and just got copy-pasted same answers and my tickets got closed right away. Because they don’t wanna hear any explanations nor to help their artist in any way.

You can’t email or call them either. No contact, no help.

I lost my time and money put in this song and I just feel scammed in the most obnoxious way. Don’t waste your hard work on them.

Streaming platforms have detection systems in place for this. Whereas we have our own internal mechanisms to detect such activity, the information from streaming services is a primary source.

We are obligated to act in accordance with the platform's policies and also our own terms of service to maintain the integrity of the streaming ecosystem and protect all artists from what could be considered an unfair advantage. This explains why some content may have to be removed from distribution.

A Trustworthy Company with High Standards

I wrote a negative review for a locked Onerpm account of mine with more than $1.5k in it.

After writing the review, I accidentally clicked on their website in here and tried to log-in as a last ditch attempt.

To my absolute shock, my login was approved and I was able to see my dashboard for the first time in 10 years.

Pushing my luck, I tried withdrawing the $1.5k through Payoneer and got it deposited to my bank account, a few hours ago.

This incident has completely changed my perspective on Onerpm, as I finally understood, they are a genuine company with very high standards and not a bunch of scammers, as projected by many other reviews here.

Moving forward, will definitely distribute my future releases through them, as they are one of the very few distros handling publishing royalties for Composers.

Te botean las canciones para después decir que es tú culpa, te quieren cobrar multas de diez dólares y como artista emergente eso es demasiado y peor cuando tú no hiciste nada y ellos mismos lo hacen para quedarse con tu dinero y tus derechos, una estafa total.

Terrible

Terrible. I uploaded 2 songs on SoundCloud, with my main account and they got taken down. All because of OneRPM's team incompetence and lack of action. I uploaded the same songs for every platform, through OneRPM. Unfortunately, you can't uncheck the option for SoundCloud. So, now, I have a duplicate account, which I don't have and can't have access to, and I can't post anything on my main account because it will be taken down for "copyright issues".
And, the worst part, is their support team, that doesn't answer any tickets nor emails. DO NOT USE ONERPM IF YOU WANT TO TAKE OFF WITH YOUR MUSIC CAREER.

What you've described is a known conflict that can occur when music distributed through ONErpm is also independently uploaded to Soundcloud. Think of it as a way of your music being protected from unauthorized uploads to the platform. However, considering you’re uploading to your own Soundcloud page, this is something our team is equipped to resolve and have you uploading your distributed songs with no issues on Soundcloud.
We are also able to have your releases relocated from the auto-created profile to your own profile, such that all your releases are on one profile.

For any releases that have not been approved and distributed, you can upload them on any distribution platform you wish.

For a release that has been approved and distributed, then you'd have to request us to take it down, which allows you to distribute it on other platforms.

Regarding our new platform, OFFstep, you are currently recommended to use it.

Accounts are suggested for migration to OFFstep based on a variety of factors, such as our internal policies, business strategies, and specific criteria we’ve established for digital music distribution.

These criteria may include considerations regarding the type of content, account performance, suitability for the services offered by OFFstep, and other factors relevant to digital music distribution. However, the specific details of these criteria are not publicly disclosed by ONErpm.

Considering your account has been recommended for OFFstep, you can no longer upload new songs to ONErpm.

Not for indie artists anymore

It was cool to use at first, but then they just decided to make the distributor an invitation-only one for bigger artists. This is really annoying, I really liked distributing my music through the platform, even with the limitations on the styling of album titles.

Serviço péssimo (data da experiência não está precisa)

Experiência horrorosa, desde o ano passado, quando comecei a lançar músicas para o spotify e outras plataformas digitais, acumulei mais problemas do que soluções.

Primeiramente, eu só consegui lançar 5 singles sem maiores problemas. Na primeira ocorrência que eu tive com o barramento de música sem motivo aparente, fui aconselhado a refazer o upload, pois eles colocaram um gênero que de acordo com eles mesmos na época era algo que não era permitido. Algum tempo depois, eu tentei lançar essa música e mais outra (que tive um problema que eu achava que era com nome e capa do single) 3 vezes cada uma.

O suporte é ineficiente, a qualidade do trabalho do setor é péssima. Pode-se ver uma grande quantidade de respostas prontas, e consigo exemplificar isso com a vez que eu escrevi meu nome no ticket de suporte, e botei o nome do meu projeto, para no fim receber um "olá, [nome do projeto]" ao invés de ter meu nome usado. Isso demonstra falta de consideração com o usuário, pois estão enviando respostas prontas para "resolver um problema", e acabam por falarem muita coisa que eu já fui advertido via email e vendo o próprio site.

Continuando a falar sobre o suporte, quero ressaltar novamente a vez que eu tive um problema com um gênero musical que segundo a OneRPM não era permitido na plataforma. Fui sinalizar isso em um ticket de ajuda e essa pauta foi completamente ignorada, mostrando mais uma vez uma deficiência na prestação de serviços por parte deles. Pode-se perceber com isso que o suporte da OneRPM não é um ponto forte, e algo precisa ser feito a respeito.

Além disso, quero ressaltar que me senti lesado ao mandar um ticket de suporte e eles me responderem com um texto que eu pude ver no email que mandaram dizendo que a música não foi enviada, bem como no próprio site deles quando eu fui acessar a aba que continha minha música, e eles, somado a isso, sem justificativa, disseram que minha música é genérica. Total ausência de profissionalismo por parte deles, tendo em vista que isso tudo veio acompanhado de um texto verborrágico em uma resposta completamente vaga, que me deixou muito confuso a respeito do mau funcionamento no que tange à distribuição de músicas.

Entendo que tem pessoas que não tenham problemas com a distribuidora, mas ao que parece, elas são a exceção da regra, pois vi muita gente tendo problema com suporte. E por conta disso, digo para que músicos novos não vão atrás dessa plataforma. De 6 tickets que eu enviei antes do pedido da remoção de minhas músicas daquela plataforma, 4 me demonstraram serem nenhum profissionalismo. Sugiro procurarem outra distribuidora melhor, que tenha um suporte responsável e confiável.

Terrible support team

I've been trying to upload my music for over 2 months and I'm sick of being denied every week for some nonsense that doesn't affect the platform or the people who enjoy listening to music in any way. I feel like I've just been wasting time because of the work I already had planned months ago. I do not recommend this music distributor at all, if you ask me I will definitely say to NEVER use offstep, because of the terrible support service they provide and the enormous amount of restrictions it has for uploading music.
