Sorely disappointed
My first investment with OmegaOptionss was in June of 2023. I met my copy trader on Facebook and we hit it off. I originally invested 2,000$ but shortly thereafter he started to mention that my funds were too low for him to turn much of a profit. He wanted 6ETH or about 12,000$. I explained over and over I borrowed the money on a credit card and could not come up with 12,000$ but he persisted until I ended up investing 9,500$.
Over the course of a month I watched my profit grow to way over 100,000$. During the last week of my 30 day plan he reminded me I would be very happy on Saturday.
When Saturday came I was shocked. I could not withdraw any profits or even my original investment since I had to pay about 13,000$ in signal/maker/taker fees. BEFORE ANY FUNDS COULD BE WITHDRAWN.
I don’t have an extra 13,000$. When I complained I was told that is the policy. I said why wasn’t I told about this up front? I thought you knew about the fees he replied.
Still believing I was at fault I went to Omegaoptionss website and poked around. I found an investment vehicle called the hatchling plan where I could invest 3,000$ and get 18,000$ in 30 days. That would provide me with a way to make 13,000$ and then some extra. I sent OmegaOptionss 3,000$ and waited. After several days my hatching plan was not generating any profits. I contacted customer service and was told I didn’t make any trades.
I said wait, the plan said invest 3,000$ get 18,000$. I can trade on my own anywhere and not tie up my investment for 30 days. I was then told I could hire my original copy trader for 20% if I didn’t want to trade myself. So, right off the bat I am no longer getting 18,000$ and I am now losing 3,600$. I had to do something so I agreed to hire my original copy trader.
2 weeks into my 30 days, my profits stopped due to site maintenance issues and was informed I would have 3 days to pay 1,000$ maintenance fee. I paid it. Now I’m down 4,600$ from the advertised 18,000$. At the end of 30 I was told I owe 4,500$ for maker/taker fees which must be paid again before any funds can be released.
All in all I now owe about 17,000$ to OmegaOptionss before my funds can be released. I am extremely disappointed since most of these charges were not disclosed prior to making my investment.
When asked why I was not informed of all the unexpected charges up front I was told “You never asked”
Now, I am hesitant to send any more money to Omegaoptionss as a great many of these policies do not follow the typical rules for doing business. I expected that any charges would be debited from funds on hand which is not their policy … “for my protection“ I was told.
Personally, I think 1 star is being extremely generous.
