Good product - bad sales team
Good product, terrible sales team. Got an email from the sales representative saying first year licensing costs would be capped at $1500. After 9 months a second sales representative contacted us saying that we owed an additional $800 due to contract terms and said the first salesman should not have sent that email.
scam website or compay
I got a translating project through buyer request from "@johnzissimos)" , Okta.com . I finished the project before the deadline. they approved the project in one minute which was shocking for me because it is 100 sheets translation project, they forwarded me to the finantial department which is also a scam claiming that my 3.000$ is waiting for me. all of what i need to do is to pay costs of trasfer which is 210$. i asked them to deduct the cost from the amount and transfer the rest but they absolutly refused and so there is no money to send. they only need me to send them the 210$ and after that i will not be able to receive my money or even contact anyone of them.
they are a scam.

I got a translating project through buyer request from "bryanwong748" , Okta.com . I handed over them to my project before the deadline. They said me that my project was approved and will send the payment to my bank account. Payment was $3,000. After 12 hours, they said me "they already sent to $3,000 to my account and after I pay $320 as a international levy fee, payment will be received to my account".
I asked my bank about such a pending payment like that. The bank says that no such payment is shown as pending. The other said that the levy payment will be paid after the money is in the account.

Bad, apply to do work for them and wait til I finish the work and saying them sending the money and I can only get the money until I pay some levy fee of $350
Been trying to get out of the automatic…
Been trying to get out of the automatic renewal of my account before the end of the “free trial”. Sent dozens of email - absolutely NO response. There is even a customer “representative” that keep sending me email asking how Im doing with the platform and completely ignoring my answers when I get back to her asking to deactivate my account !
There is absolutely NO way to deactivate your account yourself.
I would advise against using Okta, use any other SAML Authenticator- we’re back on 365.
Worst experience with Okta customer service
Our experience with Okta customer service was awful, to say the least. We have been trying to cancel our subscription for 3 months now.
Since we are still paying for something we requested to cancel months ago and their ''cancel button'' on-site doesn't work, we tried to get in touch with someone.
They either don't reply or reply with an attitude and even worse, they canceled the call we tried to schedule to be able to talk to someone who could help (this just happened actually and was the drop that broke the camel's back and got me to leave this review and waste more time on this matter).
So far, they have charged us 3 months of payment (150USD) and i hope we can put a stop to this soon.

Having used Okta for over a year now
Having used Okta for over a year now, I would have to say it's not a product I can recommend. The support and account management work on an average SLA of 5 working days for a response, they are complete unengaged.
When COVID-19 hit and we had to downsize our contract, they refused. Apparently the contract states we cannot reduce our license count, this is despite the new contract not having started.
