Bed frame all oak, no veneer.Even the slats are all oak and wide.Plus the slats are thick with a center rail so there is no sag.This is a great frame for a foam mattress which we have.The frame was well boxed and protected with plenty of styrafoam,no damage.The reason for four stars is that they came up short on screws for the slats.5 screws to be exact so we had to hunt for awhile in our parts boxes we have to cobble up enough screws to finish the job.We couldn't find an all wood bed frame any where near to the price we paid.Beautiful frame ,well worth the money.(provide enough screws maybe a few extra)

Absolutely beautiful furniture. Delivery was very quick, less than a week! Delivery guys were very professional and showed up when expected. Will definitely be purchasing again.

Good quality for the money, though the mystery hardwood in the Cranbrook bookcases was knotty. Oak top on the Cottage sideboard did not look like any oak I've seen in the U.S. Bear in mind, the furniture is manufactured in Viet Nam. Packaging was very good, though internal bookcase shelves had some damage, and an enormous amount of packaging waste was left over. Furniture arrived much sooner than anticipated. Delivery staff brought directly to room for placement.

Exactly what I needed. It blends well with my dinning room decor.

I ordered several pieces of furniture, of which the majority of was broken when received. I was promised expedited replacement items, which took longer to get than the original order. After 3 months, I was extremely aggravated that I still did not have what I ordered in an acceptable condition. I was ready to cancel the whole order, but was offered a refund of some of the purchase price as compensation. It took over 3 1/2 months, but I finally have what I ordered in good condition, and the company did honor the refund that was offered.
The good: the furniture is nice, and the people at the company I dealt with trying to get things fixed were always polite and did try to remedy the situations that arose.
The bad: Furniture comes from overseas (China and/or Vietnam for what I ordered) and is handled at multiple occasions, increasing the likelihood of damaged items. Replacement of damaged items can take as long or longer than the original order. Contracted delivery services add to damage risk, and in my case added to the problem by losing a piece of my replacement order adding more time before I got my items.

In the end I'm happy with the furniture now that I have it in good shape, and the company did make the effort to compensate for all the trouble along the way so credit to them for that, but overall the length of time to get the broken items replaced and the logistical issues were extremely frustrating.

I had king size bed and mattress delivered. And the mattress we had was giving off really bad scent. In to which it has made me and my partner very sick from sleeping on. I called customer service and told them this. Bearing in mind this was the day after I had received my bed and mattress. And I told the person that I wanted to return the mattress and he stated that because we had slept on it the night before that they wouldn't be able to return which is quite frustrating as now I'm stuck with this mattress which I pay monthly for now. Really bad service

Shipper was good product had very minor work defect

A dining table, a nest of tables and a TV unit purchased from here over over the last 20 months. ALL 3 FAULTY. The truth is its cheap Chinese imported rubbish built to a terrible standard. Avoid like the plague.

So far I am very satisfied. I have not received my order at this time and am looking forward to it. Sheldon was very helpful in getting the information I needed to forward the order through UPS.
Since it is very hard to find well made furniture in this part of the US I do believe that your business would benefit from expanding your area of service.
I would also like to see the drawer guides used on your products.

Beautiful and well made solid oak furniture which blends very well with our Stickley dining set. Excellent value for price.

I received a coupon via email for 10 percent off **Valid for single use. Excludes clearance items and mattresses. But when I went to check out there was no place to put the code. I called yesterday to report the problem only to be told that the code did not apply to the US Store, only the UK one. NO WHERE IN THE EMAIL THAT RECEIVED DID YOU INDICATE THIS DISCLAIMER. Moreover the products that I chose may have been on SALE on the US STORE, but definitely NOT ON CLEARANCE.
Both of these issues qualify me for the discount. The fact that its not indicated either on your website, or your email only reinforces this qualification.
I have been a loyal customer with now a second purchase from your store. Sady, I cannot make a recommendation to others because of your willingness to substitute that loyalty for a very bad bait and switch.

I ordered and paid by VISA for the Cranbrook Solid Hardwood Small Bookcase. The next day, I realized there would possibly be a problem because the space I was creating for the bookcase had an air duct on the floor, and that I should move the duct to another nearby location. As I did not yet know if my HVAC company could do that, I called oakfunitureland to cancel the order and refund my credit card--until I find out if the air duct can be moved at a sensible price, if at all. The phone rep for furnitureland was Brandon (great British accent) and he could not have been more helpful and informative. When, and if, I get the vent moved, I'll be right back on the phone w/Brandon to reorder the bookcase.

I just ordered two lovely looking nightstands. Sheldon in customer service was wonderful, and I am anxiously awaiting delivery. I was very happy that the color and size of these nightstands was exactly what I was looking for... while most other companies did not offer that size nor color wood. Also solid wood and dovetail construction lead me to believe these will be excellent furniture pieces made to last a life time.

After reading many positive reviews about the products and the costumer service I decided to order. The delivery went smoothly, however, my product was damaged. I immediately contacted customer service via email, waited a few days with no response. I contacted them again, yet again, no response. I finally call and get help right away. I thought it would be a quick easy return.... i thought wrong. The customer service person i was emailing gave me no response for days. Then i started getting a call for delivery again. I had no clue why. The customer service person i was working with just decided to send me a replacment without telling me or asking me if that was the way i wanted to handle the damaged item. I am still getting no response from him and of course now, the line to call is busy/has a long wait. I have yet to resolve my issue and my 14 day return window is closing. I am beyond FRUSTRATED with this whole experience, esp. After reading about the great customer service. I hope my experience is a fluke.

Also, the quality is ok. I am not overly impressed with it but I don't think its wrongfully advertised. Its just so/so.

Edit: I'd like to update my reveiw to say that almost immediately after posting this review I was contacted by customer service and my issues were settled properly. Its unfortunate that i had to be "that person" and leave a negative review to get attention BUT they really did do a GREAT JOB of taking care of my issue after that.

I have been looking forward to receiving my furniture from oak furniture land for the last month. Upon arrival, the delivery men stated that they did not think that they would be able to pivot the furniture to get it into our room of choice. We were then told to speak to customer services. Customer services told us that because the furniture could not be placed in the room, and because we did not want the furniture in any other room, then we would be charged 30% of the furniture cost to take it back to the depot. Understandably I was shocked. I was told that there was no way that oak furniture land would waiver this fee. I was told that I should have read the booklet, carefully, that was given when I ordered the furniture. I have now been hit with a massive fee and I don't have the furniture that I had been looking forward to having. Please everyone, measure absolutely everything, or you could be hit with a charge. If in doubt, don't buy.
