Joining OAK Academy’s cybersecurity bootcamp was one of the best decisions I’ve made—right up there with learning how to properly configure a firewall (because, let’s be honest, nobody wants to be that person who leaves everything wide open).

Weit entfernt von meiner Heimat habe ich mich in einem neuen Land dazu entschieden, basierend auf meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen, eine Karriere im Bereich Cybersicherheit zu starten. In diesem Prozess bin ich dank eines geschätzten Freundes auf die OAK Akademie aufmerksam geworden.

Die OAK Akademie bot mir mit ihrem 9-monatigen intensiven und strukturierten Programm weit mehr als nur eine Ausbildung. Besonders beeindruckte mich, dass das Programm nicht nur theoretisches Wissen vermittelte, sondern auch durch praktische Laborübungen und realistische Projekte ergänzt wurde – ein großer Vorteil für mich.

Die Zusammenarbeit mit einem hochqualifizierten und unterstützenden Team sowie die Gespräche mit Branchenexperten über Soft Skills und die Hilfestellung in Bewerbungs- und Vorstellungsgesprächsprozessen haben mein Selbstvertrauen enorm gestärkt. Direkt nach meinem Praktikum konnte ich bereits nach nur 2,5 bis 3 Monaten einen Arbeitsvertrag unterschreiben.

I am someone who has built my education from the ground up, fighting to advance through my own efforts. After completing my academic studies in Turkey, I moved to Germany and became a mother of two children, ages 2 and 4. While considering how I could provide a better future for them, I crossed paths with the OAK Academy family. Although I once had a life limited by technology, I had confidence and faith in myself. - They really made me job-ready from 0 knowledge in less than a year!

- They don't only teach you certain fields, but prepare you for almost every single field within cybersecurity.

They help you with:
- Job search
- Mock interviews
- Referencing you for active job positions
- Active Discord server where you can always expect to get an answer within 2 hours the latest
- Classes aren't overcrowded (20 - 40 people), thus all questions are answered and the chat doesn't look like a Twitch stream (in contrast to other courses).
- They don't abandon you after the course is over; they keep hosting online seminars recommending certifications within the industry including free learning materials.
- During the course they prepare you EXTENSIVELY for CompTIA Security+. This alone is reason to take part in this course.

I have recommended this course to close friends and family as well. And several have started. All are beyond happy.

Although I haven't found a job yet, I'm in a position where I'm getting almost too many very lucrative job offers to even answer. And I'm also in a position where I'm declining inconvenient jobs - a position I wasn't in over a year ago.
