Not good

I've just read the previous email and I feel even worse. Trusting a new brand is a hard thing to do, so placing my order after seeing all the ad's plastered everywhere I went along with it instead of checking these reviews. I place the order and within hours got a message to say that due to a high volume of orders, there'd be a delay. If a company does not have an item in stock it should say that and then perhaps have an option to be notified when it's back in stock. To take the payment and then come with a message is a very bad customer experience. I responded to that email asking when I could expect my item, they've ignored it. I emailed asking for a refund, no response.
As a new small business this is so bad and I wish that I had just stuck with my normal instead of trying to support the small independent business trying to do something positive (or so I thought) I will never order anything again, I will not be recommending, I will actively discourage people to avoid this company at all costs

We’ve carefully reviewed our systems and have not been able to locate any prior emails from you, nor have we been able to match your details to an order at this stage. We respond to all customer enquiries, so this suggests there may be missing information needed for us to assist you.

It’s also possible that your reply was sent to a no-reply address, which would prevent it from reaching our customer service team. If that’s the case, I completely understand how it may have felt like you were being ignored. Could you kindly confirm which email address you contacted so we can look into this properly?

In addition, we clearly display extended lead times on our website and at checkout during periods of high demand. This is to ensure customers can make an informed decision prior to purchase, rather than being misled about availability.

Terrible customer service!!!

Terrible customer service!!!! I did not receive my order! I reported this and they were so unhelpful! The worst customer service I ever received! They ignoredd emails, took my miney and did not fulfil their own side of the deal. I had to go through my bank to get my money back. I will never ever buy from them again!!

Thank you for your review, and I’m really sorry to hear that you haven’t received the order you placed on the 23rd February. I completely understand how frustrating that must feel.

I’ve looked into this for you and can see that you’ve placed five previous orders with us, four of which were delivered successfully with no issues. That’s why I’m especially keen to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.

At present, we haven’t been able to locate any previous emails from you regarding this. It’s possible your message may have been sent to a no-reply address , which would explain why you didn’t receive a response. Could you kindly confirm which email address you contacted so we can look into this further?

According to the tracking information from Royal Mail, your order was dispatched on 23rd February and was due for delivery on 25th February . While rare, delivery issues can occasionally occur once parcels are with the courier. If we’re not notified via our customer service email or social media channels, we won’t be aware that there’s an issue and therefore unable to step in and resolve it promptly.
I also wanted to let you know that I personally tried to call you at 10:09 this morning to resolve this directly and will be following up with an email as well.

Received delivery, couldnt wait to start using product!

My favourite hair products

I have been using Nylahs Natural since December 2024 and love the way my hair looks and feels now. The products smell wonderful. I recently bought the sleep set and I am pleased with the difference it has made to my hair in the mornings. Thank you for bringing your products to the black hair market. They are my favourite.

I want to follow up on a review I…

I want to follow up on a review I originally wrote on September 15th, 2025, when I felt the product wasn’t working for me.

After that review, I decided to continue using Nylahs. I said I will give it 6 months before making a final decision.

At the time I wrote my review, I was experiencing what I now understand to be the “dread shed.” Emotionally and psychologically, this was extremely difficult to deal with. I know it’s still hair fall/shedding but I think dread shed is definitely more fitting because it was hard to experience. In a strange way, it felt even harder than the hair loss I had already experienced over the last 9 years, which is what led me to try Nylahs in the first place.

My affected area (the crown) is still shorter than the rest of my hair, but I’m now at peace knowing that in my case, this is expected (realistically) because of how volatile it is and that the dread shed was a necessary part of the process to allow healthier hair to grow back in that same area. Shaving my hair helped massively, because it meant, I didn’t have to constantly watch my hair shed week after week knowing I started with longer length.

My hair is now starting to thicken, and this journey has reminded me that patience is a must. I started using Nylahs products on August 27th, 2025, and I’ve been consistent with my routine: weekly wash days, daily use of Thrive (I have Flourish too but rarely used it), and 5-minute scalp massages every day. I’m on my third soon to be fourth bottle. It has been money well spent thus far. I did find the products (shampoo, conditioner and thrive) very drying so I’ve also been using their leave in product sparingly which has helped.

To end, and to compliment my journey, I intend on seeing a trichologist too.

I am very disappointed that I have had…

I am very disappointed that I have had to write this review, but I want others to be aware of my experience.
Over several months, I sent numerous emails raising concerns about my hair while using the company’s products. Despite using the full range, nothing worked for me. I also asked for advice, including support in speaking to a trichologist, but received no meaningful response.
I strongly believe in supporting Black-owned businesses, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this has been the worst customer service experience I have had, due to the lack of communication and concern for customer wellbeing.
I hope this review encourages the business to take customer concerns more seriously and respond appropriately when hair-related issues are raised.

Suits my locs and leaves them feeling soft

Like other reviews, i discovered Nylah Naturals from Dragon's Den. I chose Nylah Naturals as I want to support black business. I find their products care for my hair and smell beautiful. After a couple of teething problems (incorrect product and lost prpduct) in the beginning, I did try another company however quickly returned to Nylah Naturals. To be fair to the company they resolved each of my issues satisfactorily which is a credit to their customer services depth. I would recommend to others

None responsive customer…

Poor and none responsive customer service.

I informed them the bottle was faulty and was happy with the quick response offering a replacement pump. I emailed again but no reply, I waited nearly 3 weeks and it finally arrived. It was over Christmas/new year so I can give some grace for holidays etc.

But they sent the wrong pump and I have no response to multiple emails asking for the correct replacement... Maybe they're reply to a poor review, I hope.

It's a shame I got a 3 month subscription. Once that's done I will be cancelling.

Many years ago I wrote an article for my union, as I was Equality, Diversity and Inclusion rep, on black peoples hair and how it was being politicalised. During my research I discovered what toxic chemicals are present in some products for use on black hair.
These included carcinogens- cancer forming. I thought as a black scientist, my grandchildren deserved better, the best in life, including hair products. I made enquiries and came across, Nyelasnaturals hair products. I buy the bundle and have it delivered to my son, his wife and our grandchildren’s home for their use. The entire family love this product, especially my teenage granddaughter. Thank you so much. May your legacy continue to thrive.

Finally! Products that work!

I have been on my natural hair journey for just over 12 years. I'd say my hair is 4c but honestly I think it has chosen its own undisclosed category and finding the right products for the strands of hair on my particular head has been near impossible! It has been such a struggle and a financial drainer that I finally gave up and cut off 11 years of growth last year just to give myself a break, regroup and start again. I stumbled upon Nylah in my Google research trying to find 'clean' hair products that actually work, now that my hair was growing again. I'd seen the brand before but didn't realise it was black female owned and had this incredible vision and mission. After hours reading through the site (which was super easy to navigate and wildly informative - a lot of information, but presented in a 'digestable' way for a novice like myself to consume and not feel overwhelmed), I was convinced and ordered the essential haircare bundle fully persuaded that this was it, I had finally found the products that would work for me. And boy was I right! First off, packaging - I love simple, easy to use, attractive packaging and Nylah is giving all that and more (my shower and beauty cabinet thank you), secondly, a straight forward, step by step, easy to follow routine and products - thank you! I didn't have to trail for hours trying to find what I needed, how to use it, when, how often - its all done for me. From the first shampoo - yes the shampoo! - I could tell this was very different. On to the conditioner, the leave in and the hair oil - and it just kept getting better. The fragrance is not overpowering or too sweet, for my sinuses, it's perfectly balanced. My hair had never looked or felt so plump and nourished. I didn't pre-poo, I didn't deep condition and yet my hair felt so soft, hydrated, healthy, strong and moisturised, my hair needed little to no detangling - all after just one wash day - and it stayed that way until my next wash . If I'd had this 12 years ago, think of the money and the stress I would have saved myself :) BUT I am very glad to be able to begin this new journey with such amazing products that actually work. I've been using the products for 2 months now and my hair has never felt better. To the team at Nylah, thank you so much for creating and sharing products that really work for someone like me. Thank you for the very thoughtful, conscious and deeply caring approach you appear to be taking with this - focused on deep wellbeing and the planet. There are very few places for a black woman like myself to go and feel actually seen and cared for. You do that beautifully with what you have created here. When I go through the website, when I receive emails, when I use the products - I feel like someone has actually thought about me - not just a number but an actual human- what I may need, what may be beneficial to me and what will actually help me have good, healthy hair that works for me. Hair may appear a trivial thing but to many of us, it matters deeply. Clearly it matters to you deeply too so thank you for helping me heal and own mine.

Lovely products to use

I purchased the Nylan hair products and I can say that they are the best I have ever used, because the products have a nice smell, not overpowering like other products I have used in the past. Having such a nice smell I want to use the products. As I am on medication, my hair stopped growing, since using the serum and hair growth tablets my hair is a lot more thicker.

Very disappointing experience – would not recommend

I’ve previously used Nylah’s Thrive serum without issue, but this most recent experience has been extremely disappointing.

I received a bottle that was noticeably discoloured. After contacting customer services, I was told a replacement would be provided once I returned the unopened product. I paid over £6 for signed-for delivery and returned it in its original packaging and box.

Instead of receiving a replacement or refund, Nylah’s Naturals sent the exact same discoloured bottle back to me, this time in an unlabelled box.
This left me out of pocket and without the resolution promised. The communication was repetitive and dismissive, and the handling of the return was unacceptable.

As a customer, I expected better care, especially when raising a legitimate quality concern. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose confidence in the brand that I once supported.

Beautiful products

Beautiful products, very rich and creamy on my short hair. I love the all of the products and use the conditioner the most doing regular co washing which has really helped my hair. I will definitely be buying more

Great Natural Products. Lightweight and effective

I’ve had so many ‘protective’ styles in over the past few years that I hadn’t been able to use your products properly to know how well they were working.

Anyway, all that to say that now I’ve freed my tresses for the longest run in years and I’ve been using near enough everything in your range and ‘mwah’ chefs kiss my hair is regaining the life it’s been missing for some time and I’m starting to feel its health returning (On top of looking after the inside too of course 😉). I love that I can use them with ease of worry about harsh chemicals and that they really work in my Haircare routine.

I particularly love the shampoo, flourish and the leave in conditioner. These alone give me really good hair maintenance results but the full range really has made a difference.

Amazing Results!!!

Hi Nylah's,

Also a massive thank you because your product has helped me so much as someone that has been through menopause and suddenly noticing my hair started thinning. I’m not one for posting videos and being online in that way, but you should know that the flourish serum has really started the regrowth. Where as the thrive was great for making my hair feel healthier. Also, I gave some of the moisture spray to my daughter to try As she is perimenopausal and in her 40s. We both have Locs and the thickness that has been restored to her Locs and now mine is amazing and transformational for her as she was beginning to be concerned.

Since using the flourish the growth has really begun to be noticeable. I’m now looking forward to using the Derma stamp to increase blood flow and stimulate the growth even more!

My edges are back

My edges are back
Listen, I have tried everything. Castor oil, rosemary oil, mielle oil, bantana oil and nothing. I mean nothing has grown my edges back like this thrive serum. It took a while to get used to the tingling and at first my hair was shedding and I was scared. I spoke to the trichologist who said it was normal and I trusted the process and listen I'm glad I did because the hair's are coming in. In beyond gassed.
I've told my whole family about Nylah. Please never stop selling your products!!!
