DO NOT SPEND A PENNY WITH THIS DISGRACE OF A COMPANY. Disgrace of a company. I ordered an Eid Abaya from this company only to be sent a faulty item. Then be refused to return it - this is illegal and unlawful under UK consumer act 2015. I will be escalating it further.

Customer service is absolutely fantastic. Had some trouble with shipping courier and the girls were so helpful and kind in following up and fixing without even having to ask. The dress is beautiful and I can’t wait to order again through them!

I’ve had only the best experience with Nour Modesty! I ordered on a public holiday and received auspost confirmation immediately and it arrived before my event my the end of week. I bought two shimmer butterfly abayas and they were stunning, true to size and honestly made me feel like a princess! 10/10 experience and can’t wait to buy more

I bought an abaya from Nour Modesty and I absolutely love it! Arrived as expected, gorgeous and comfortable material, and looked exactly as pictured. I’ve never had so many compliments about an outfit until I wore this, so if you’re thinking of purchasing - do it! You won’t regret it.

Ordering was simple and everything arrived exactly as expected. The team were very kind and helpful, and they responded in a timely manner whenever I had a question, which I really appreciated as a first time customer.

I just got my abaya from Nour Modesty and I’m honestly so excited to wear it for Eid 🤍

When it arrived, I was actually so relieved because ordering online can be a bit risky, but it looks exactly how I imagined. The fabric feels really soft and light, and it just drapes so nicely when I tried it on.

It’s one of those pieces that instantly makes you feel put together without doing too much. I already know I’m going to feel really good wearing it on Eid.

So far I’m really happy with it, can’t wait to wear it properly on the day.

Also the packaging was really cute, it just felt like a thoughtful order overall.

I feel like sometimes online shopping can be hit or miss, but this actually matched what I was expecting. I’d definitely order from them again.

Ordered an abaya for Eid and it hasn’t arrived in time. They have a non refundable policy for sale items and late delivery items so be aware.
If I knew it would take this long I would have ordered from the UK seeming as its been in transit for ages.

Very disappointing experience with Nour Modesty. I reached out the same day my order arrived because one item didn't fit - their sizing is not true to size! The item was completely unworn with tags and original packaging, and I even offered to pay return shipping, but they refused. The quality also didn't match the price. Customer should be cautious ordering because if something doesn't fit, you're stuck with it! I wish I read the reviews before ordering.

Disappointed.
1. Paid around £60 for a gown which is available on Temu for £25.
2. Delivery was late and when I asked for a refund, they refused to issue one. Were adamant on exchange or store credit only.
3. Shipping from Australia, so UK customers, expect delays and if item has to be return, expect to pay international return shipping cost.

Positives: Quick with responding to emails.

Wont recommend and wont ever buy from them again.

UPDATE: This company did reach out to me and refunded the money if I agreed to update my trustpilot review. I am glad to have gotten a resolution from them, and my money back so I can finally find another dress for my occasion. Happy to move away from this experience now.

Original Post: [Redacted] First of all, I only got 1 of the items I purchased from them and have been back and forth with them through email, for weeks, trying to get the missing items and they just keep saying "thank you for your patience while we send your concern to our care team"... second, i made a low rating review on their website that they promptly deleted. Love my abayas, amazing quality and perfect for everyday

I made an order for a dress that never came! These are scammers!! Reviews on their website are fake!!!!! Please don’t purchase from them!

Avoid at all costs, scammers.
Ordered a dress for an event 3 weeks away as shipping advertised as 5-9 days. Heard nothing for 2 weeks. Messaged the company and they sent it out the next day, they probably were too lazy/forgot about my order. Took forever to come, all in all took 20+ days to come and couldn’t even wear it to my event.

Tried to return it, they said I can’t return it because it was on sale (scam companies like this put 90% of their items on sale and then say you can’t return sale) absolute scammers using an Islamic facade. All the money they make will never stay with them as it is haram money scamming others out of honest hard working money.

It would’ve been fine if it was a cheap dress, but it was £75 and I didn’t even wear it. Got told to give it to a friend, absolute joke.

I placed an order with Nour Modesty on November 8th and paid extra for their advertised 2–5 day shipping, which was a major factor in my purchase. Despite this, my order was never shipped within the promised timeframe. When I contacted customer service, I was told the delay was due to an “internal error,” but even after acknowledging the mistake, they still failed to ship promptly or correct the issue.

What concerns me even more is the lack of transparency. The website provides no physical business address, no owner or company name, and no official business details that legitimate online retailers typically provide. This makes it extremely difficult for customers to know who they are dealing with or to pursue any meaningful resolution when problems arise.

Customer service responses have been slow, vague, and often unhelpful. I repeatedly asked for accurate updates and proper fulfillment of the service I paid for, yet I continued to receive excuses instead of solutions. At this point, I have had to prepare a formal DTPA consumer-protection claim, dispute the charge with my bank, and begin documenting everything for potential legal action—just to get clarity on an order that should have been simple.

After researching the brand, I found that many other customers have reported similar problems, including non-delivery, long delays, lack of communication, and unfulfilled orders. The pattern appears consistent:
• Shipping promises not honored
• Poor communication
• No transparency about business identity
• Difficulty getting refunds
• Lack of accountability

Based on my experience and the experiences of others, I strongly urge potential customers to exercise caution. This business did not uphold its advertised services, and resolving issues has been unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.

I do not recommend ordering from this company.

I purchased a two-piece abaya set from Nour Modesty for £77 to wear to an event. Unfortunately, the inner slip dress and outer jacket were completely different lengths, making the outfit unwearable. I sent them photos of myself wearing it and laid flat on the floor, but instead of acknowledging the problem, they repeatedly dismissed it as “creasing” and insisted I waste more of my time ironing it.

After finally doing this, I discovered the real issue: the garments were different sizes — the slip dress was labelled XL and the outer abaya L. To make matters worse, the neck labels had been removed so no one would notice, while the size labels hidden deep in the side seams had been left in.

This is not just poor quality control, it feels deliberately misleading. Rather than resolving the matter fairly, they prolonged the process and only offered partial refunds or store credit, trying to hold onto my money.

I was left out of pocket, stressed, and unable to wear the outfit for the event it was purchased for. For a modest fashion company claiming to prioritise customer satisfaction, the way they handled this was deeply disappointing.

Avoid unless you are prepared to risk receiving faulty items and being given the runaround instead of proper customer service.

Items not as advertised. Refused to refund. Poor quality.
