I always buy my coffee from here before…

I always buy my coffee from here before work even though half the time it takes a long time to get it however I went today and the lady refused to let me pay by card and wanted me to use the machine. Never coming again. Rude staff and inexperienced with customer service.

Utterly useless

Utterly useless. sent 2 emails 2 weeks ago with a few questions about subscriptions and got no reply. Tried to then reach out on Instagram and STILL no reply. I mean it seems like they don't want new customers-never heard of a business like that!

EDIT: I can see my message on Instagram there and messaged through the website. I thought messages re subscriptions would be for the shop email address, not bookings for cafes but you know best and will email there now

We love Notes coffee

We love Notes coffee, we have tried other coffees, but always come back to Notes. The tase is far superior to any other coffee we have tasted. What makes Notes even better is that they are backed by great customer service too.

Delivery issue again and not resolved !

Delivery issue again - I ordered espresso and received beans ! Three times now !!

And still not heard back from Notes as to how they're going to resolve this ?!

30/01/2026 update : despite Notes saying they would get in touch to resolve this issue, I've not heard anything further ! At the moment I'd like to not even award a 1 star ...

Good price and delivery

I bought a Hoop coffee maker for £30 with free delivery. It arrived quickly a few days before Christmas which I didn’t expect as I thought it was too late. On Amazon it would have cost me £39 plus £9 postage to get it before Christmas.

Delicious coffee

Very satisfied customer and highly recommend! I often take advantage of the Black Friday discounts and stock up as their coffee variety is amazing and high quality. The web shop is easy to navigate and you can also buy through the Shopify app I think; delivery is well packaged and free over £30.

Poor Customer Experience.

I love my Notes Coffee but my Customer Experience has been poor. After being sent the wrong coffee due to a website, technical issue, I then emailed to sort. This was acknowledged within a couple of days with the issue confirmed. I then wrote back to ask how replacements would be sorted together with collection of the wrong coffee. Then nothing. It's not good enough. Order No. #15706

Now sorted with a replacement on the way.

St John’s Wood branch warning

St John’s Wood branch warning ! Ordered 2 coffees was charged £9.40 . After I paid member of staff began a confrontation that he had charged me too much and was questioning what we actually ordered . They carried out a refund for £9.40 then charged me £4.20 . I logged into my bank account to see £9.40 and £4.20 charges but NO refund . Spoke to manager on phone of staff who told me I had to wait 7 days for refund !

I spend a lot of money on St John’s Wood high street coffee shops but never experienced such shoddy service by staff . The staff need replacing they do not understand hospitality and how to converse with customer. For any high street business to charge a customer one charge then decide to refund and recharge a completely different fee to be told “ you have to wait 7 days for a fund is very poor trading standard !”

I would avoid this branch and I will be contacting trading standards and my bank !

Poor value for money

St John’s Wood branch was poor, toilets were in bad condition, the yoghurt and figs looked unappetising and the service was so slow. No establishment should be charging 12.5 percent service charge for service that slow and lacklustre . £30 for toast Avacado figs and yoghurt? Value has dissipated in London and this is fine example of it. Coffee was also flavourless too.
