Northwest Bifolds installed two sets of Origin-Global OB-49 doors in black with black integral blinds from Blinds In Glass Group. Went to see Steve at his showroom, he answered all questions and provided suggestions and advice to help us with choosing what was best for our project and was able to set everything out in layman’s terms. From the start Steve was available to answer emails or phone calls assisting us through the process. All paperwork provided was clear and concise with price, timeframe etc clearly indicated.
Steve came out to the property to assess the work needed and provided information for the other tradespeople involved in the process – so that when it came to installation everything would be done to his specifications to ensure that there were no issues.

Installation was on time and Steve and Elliot were on site and fitted the doors boarding the doors as other building work was being carried out. They then returned once this work was completed and installed the glass with the integrated blinds.

As you can see from the photos the doors are exceptional and having the integrated blinds is a game changer. Of a day the doors provide so much light and have transformed our space, of a night the doors and blinds create a totally different look from both the inside and outside – a wonderful job by Steve – thank you so much.

Fantastic follow on service. After several years of enjoying the Bifolds that North West fitted, we noticed that one of the glass units had failed and gone opaque.
We contacted Steve, and without hesitation he ordered a replacement panel and has just been and fitted it.
Superb service.
When you choose a supplier, the aftercare is such an important part of the choice.

The team at North West Bifolds recently replaced our bifold doors. We are really pleased with the high quality of the doors and the service we received from them. Steve and the team were very knowledgeable about the options available when we visited the show room and helped us come to a decision on the doors that we're very pleased with. I have Just had my Origin sliding doors fitted by Steve at NW BIFOLDS. Super happy with the install. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Very professional, clean and tidy and totally recommend this company, you will not be disappointed. 5 stars.

We were converting what used to be an art gallery into a home, and we wanted it done well. We had decided early on that aluminium doors and windows was the way forward. So we started our research into companies around North Wales and the North West and North West Bifolds seemed to come out well in all the reviews.
I contacted Steve who came and visited the site
The job was quite big, well for us anyway. It involved two UPVC windows and twelve Origin casement windows. Two large Origin sliders, which have been brilliant, an eight foot bifold, a tall two floor glazed atrium which we have had Steve back a few times to repair leaks, and a large glazed roof light for our conservatory, as well as two external doors.
As regards the glazed atrium, Steve despite the distance involved was quite happy turn up to try to correct the problem, unfortunately the problem still persists.
After discussing the work involved we decided to accept Steve’s quote and I have to admit that everything progressed well. There was a bit of camaraderie between Steve’s scouse humour and our builders more dour attitude, but between the two they got the work done, and to a very good standard.
Overall, with such a big job I have to say that Steve did an excellent job, and his lads were first class considering they had to get up at the crack of dawn to get to Porthmadog to do a day’s work. Obviously with so much fitting involved we had the odd disagreement, but Steve has such an infectious attitude, all the problems were easily resolved, even though it might have taken some time.
All in all we would have no objection to recommending North West Bifolds

Great experience with North West Bifolds. Steve was very responsive to my original web enquiry on a Friday afternoon, resulting in him coming over on the Sunday morning to adjust our Bifolds. They have done a great job where others were unable to recommend a fix. Steve is also liaising with the door manufacturer regarding a replacement lock mechanism even though NW Bifolds weren’t the original installers (original installers/suppliers are shockingly difficult to get hold of - no such issue with Nw Bifolds). Friendly professional service and a top job. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend. Thanks NW Bifolds (Steve).

I have used North West Bifolds on two different properties 7 years apart and can honestly say I wouldn't consider using anybody else.
I have always found Steve to be reliable and completely professional

Initially, I was very happy with the installation of our bifold doors — the quality and finish seemed excellent. However, over a relatively short period the seals degraded, leading to water leaking through and causing internal damage. When I contacted the installer for support (multiple time over multiple months), unfortunately no help was offered.

I have had to rely on the goodwill of the manufacturer to investigate the issue (early 2026), as I was unable to find any other local or regional business willing or able to assist with repairs. It’s extremely disappointing that, so early in what should be the long lifespan of bifold doors, I am now facing the possibility of expensive replacement simply due to lack of aftercare.

I’m glad others have had positive experiences, but sadly mine has not been one of them.

I have given a 3 star review, 5 for initial install and product quality, 1 for support after install.

Steve provides excellent customer service from initial contact through to installation. The OS29 sliding doors are a perfect replacement for our previous PVC French doors.

We visited his showroom and purchased a combination of 7 windows, sliders and Bifolds from him. We mixed Origin and Smart systems based on his advice and knowledge to achieve what we wanted and to suit our budget! We contacted Steve and he was extremely responsive and sent through a quote immediately. He was helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. Installation was straightforward and the lead time from quote - survey - order to installation was very quick and problem free. We are delighted with our French Doors, it's huge improvement on what was there before too! I would recommend Steve and his team.
