I have had a terrible experience…
I have had a terrible experience reporting and resolving issues with a Chesterfield chair I bought in December - the communication from customer services (Jade Page) and the manufacturing team has been really unhelpful and disrespectful in its communication, refusing to comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in . Given how expensive the chair is, I've had to refer the matter to small claims, which I've never had to do before.
I'm sure on the most part that the quality of the furniture delivered is sound, but occasionally there are defects. I could never recommend this company to anybody because I think it's when things go wrong that you really understand whether a company is trustworthy and truly cares about its customers.
They appear to have a policy which contradicts the law - due to being away I was unable to get the chair assembled and report issues within the first 30 days but that doesn't remove their obligation under the law (as it is within six months). The chair was expensive and whilst new parts have been sent, the parts were still loose and upon reporting the issue again in the end they blamed me for "incorrectly" assembling the chair - which felt really upsetting given I used a professional handyperson who reported to me there was a defect.
I am wondering whether the particular customer services assistant I dealt with is a reflection on the wider company.
I would just caution anybody against using the company just in case goods and services aren't as described in my case.
