Stunning Location, lovely people
The most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. The area is special, stunning. The welcome from a gorgeous team was lovely, food great and the lodge spot on. The team looked after our every need, all with a smile - hot water bottles in the bed and a fire lit in our room each night was going beyond. It was such a special place we got engaged - perfect. I would go again tomorrow - 100% recommended.

We had a wonderful experience with our whole trip. The guidance in planning and arranging our itinerary provided a lifetime of memories. Staff was knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. Lodging recommendations were clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Meals were delicious. Each day and experience left us with treasured memories. Our driver was most knowledgeable and made a forever impact in our hearts and minds, Nkuringo Safari will be my "go-to" for our next Ugandan adventure. Falling in love with Uganda thanks to Nkuringo Safaris
My husband and I went on a short tour of Southern Uganda, exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kazinga Channel, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking – and Nkuringo Safaris assisted us in the best possible way.
Our trip was simply magnificent and truly unforgettable. Uganda is such a wonderful country, and Nkuringo Safaris really helped us discover it. Our guide, Jack, was amazing from the moment he picked us up late at night in Entebbe until the very end of our journey. He is not only a fantastic guide and an excellent driver, but above all, a truly wonderful human being.
Nkuringo Safaris took excellent care of us in Uganda – we always felt safe and looked after, whether in the lodges, on walks, or during safaris with the rangers. Uganda is an absolutely beautiful country, and Jack made our journey completely unforgettable.
Now we definitely have to come back to visit the northern part of the country – and we will without a doubt book again with Nkuringo Safaris. Highly recommended!

Nkuringo Safaris, and our coordinator (Moreen) and safari guide (Emma), provided us an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience for our 8-day safari. Every step of the process was managed professionally and with genuine care for us and our wants and needs. We were able to see everything we had hoped to see, and we gained insights and knowledge about the people and places of Uganda that were a welcome and unexpected bonus. Excellent company that we will use again and again.

This company overdelivered for us. We are booking them again and not changing a single thing about the itinerary...they're that good. We don't know how they manage to keep things going on time when we're dealing with nature and weather and wild animals and timing, but the whole thing ran like clockwork, even while making sure everyone was happy with the amount of time spent in each place. We can't say enough good things about this company. Not only did they not disappoint, they surprised and delighted us at every turn.

Fantastic experience with Nkuringo Safaris
Wonderful 8 day trip with Nkuringo Safaris - expertly lead by our guide Remmy Kityo. Great itinerary with some highlights that will stay with us life-long - gorilla tracking in Bwindi, chimpanzee trekking at Kibale Forest, the splendour of the Nile at Murchison Falls and the bird life at Mabamba wetlands. Fantastic accommodation throughout, including the great Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. Would be more than happy to journey with them again, and no hesitation to recommend to others.

Wonderful experience
Just arrived back in Australia after a fabulous guided 10 day safari in Uganda with Nkuringo. We travelled to Kibale National park to track chimpanzees, from there to Queen Elizabeth National park, boat trip on Kazinga Channel and then to Buhoma with a hike across Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, tracking for gorillas and then to Mgahinga National park to track golden monkeys. Our guide was Arshley Brian-who was exceptional in every way, from his driving skills, to his boundless knowledge about all wildlife and flora to his dedicated service to all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble and done with graciousness. Our accommodation was varied and very comfortable. Can highly recommend this company for the thought that has gone into making it a memorable adventure.

Couple travelled Uganda in Nov 2020
In November 2020, we travelled Uganda as a couple in a 4*4 Jeep.
Considering the difficult time we are all in, we were especially happy about the level of service we experienced. If you have a negative COVID-19 test beforehand, you can travel Uganda with no problem. During our travel we felt very safe: all staff wore masks, if you enter buildings (Lodges, Banks etc.) or parks you have to sanitize your hands and your temperature will be taken. All in all, we felt safer than in Europe - as everybody was very considerate about our health.
But let`s talk about the experience:
- We travelled the north (Kidepo national park) which we highly recommend. The amount of animals (mammals, birds) is spectacular
- Furthermore we did Murchinsons, Queen Elizabeth (incl. Ishasha sector), chimpanzee habituation experience and Nkuringo- where we tracked Gorillas in the Rushaga sector
- This trip was unforgettable. Our guide made sure we enjoyed it to the fullest. He was very professional and could answer all our questions about animals, history and the country
- As tourism is low at the moment, we were even more spoiled by all staff in all lodges, which made our experience even more special
We highly recommend to travel Uganda now, as it is one of the most amazing experiences you can have in your travel life.
About Nkuringo tours:
- From the booking (where we could give our inputs and wishes), to the payment, the guide during the trip to the COVID test to the end, we experienced a highly professional service
- We want to acknowledge especially, that if problems arised, they solved them in a professional and efficent manner. For example, we had a car break down (due to the rainy season some roads were very bad). We still arrived in our lodge that day in the evening and were able to proceed with a new car the next day. We didn`t experience any negative impact to our travel, even if this could have been a major issue
- All in all, we highly recommend to work with Nkuringo Walking Safaris to experience this beautiful country the fullest

An exciting holiday
In 2018 my boyfriend and I had an exciting holiday organised by Nkuringo safaris. It was a very pleasant holiday with Derick a punctual and motivated guide. He was so informed and helped us have the best of every activity we did and all destinations visited. he really gave it a professional touch. The game viewing in Uganda was more exciting than any other game viewing we have had in other African countries. We ticked this off our bucket list but would love to have it more and more . Very recommended

Unbeatable Experience.
In March 2019, i had this Unbeatable Experience, food & location at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, very close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Very handy for mountain gorilla tracking. Superb meals and service. Attentive and caring staff. Highly recommended.
