The experience varies when being apart of the NGDA but the experience remains a positive one each time - Whether your someone passing by, someone getting involved, someone the NGDA are helping - you take something away with you that NGDA is the people foundation and that they truly work hard with those amongst the NGDA and others they work with. Big up Sangita, Big up Dex with the food, Big up all the artists that continue to show growth, confidence and stage presence every time they get up on stage and deliver 10/10 performances. Big up anyone else involved as well. The Chelmsford Community are blessed to have the NGDA and all the amazing things they continue to do - This month with the opening of the community shop, to yesterdays BHM event shows that.

Im a youth that has been contributing to the work of the NGDA for only a few months and so far I’ve achieved mentall confidence and physical confidence.

Ive gone on stages to host events because of the NGDA support towards me we have been raising money for youth mental health which is something i find very important i got envolved by busking hosting events cook outs making QR codes.

There like a family to me without them i wouldnt be the decent young man i am now and its mental how ive changed from suspensions at school and going nuts because someone told me to shutup to being the bigger person and ignoring them because NGDA help me find another solution to everything.

NGDA have helped me so much. they have helped me with my mental health and my confidence. ever since being with them, i feel myself much happier with the most perfect group of friends around me, they support me in everything i do and will always make sure i’m okay. i’ve always wanted to do something with my voice as i’ve forever loved singing and NGDA have given me that opportunity to be able to do that, and honestly i wouldn’t do it with anyone else, not only have they given me that opportunity, but they have also given me the opportunity to finally feel something other than fear, insecurity and sadness. being with them makes me feel better coz not only are they helping me persue in singing, but they are also helping me to find myself and find the confidence that had been hiding in me and helping me fight through mental health. i was always told i’d never get anywhere with my singing and to just give up and that it’s never going to be more than just a few likes on a social media post of my singing, but they have stopped me from giving up, they have allowed me to show my voice to world and show everyone that i can and will and HAVE made it. they are more like family to me than anything else, people i go to if something goes wrong, the people i go to when i need advice, the people i go to when i need, and just the people i always want to be around, not just with singing. when i first met them i thought it would just be me singing with them every week and performing every now and then but it is 100% so much more than that. they make me feel at home… they make me feel better than i ever have before, they show me how to live life and that isn’t just all the same all day, everyday. they have saved me without realising, and that’s what so amazing about them. not only are they amazing at helping people persue in their music but they also change people for the better and help them to feel better. i will forever be grateful for everything they have done. NGDA are amazing. 5 star ⭐️❤️

NGDA has done such amazing things for me, things like taking me to so many of these special events like hot box chelmsford carnival which is where I dine my first ever live performance and it was amazing and I can’t wait to see what goes on in the future !!!

I had an amazing experience working with Sangita Mittra as a henna artist for Chelmsford Streets Alive Event. She is highly professional , helpful and kind and it was a pleasure to work with her. Well done to the whole team for an outstanding performance.

NGDA delivered a talk for Heritage Open Days on the Windrush. It was well attended, interactive and encouraged a really good discussion.

I find myself seeking out Sangeeta Mitra of NGDA for guidance and advice on a lot of matters related to community, arts, & inclusion. These are things that really matter to me as an artist, and her advice is always straightforward, deep and comprehensive. It comes from long years of experience and a sincere desire to help people. Brilliant!

I work with one of the YPs that participated in poster design and the inclusion and engagement that they were able to feel and experience throughout the planning process and the event itself was amazing to see. Also the event itself was fantastic and very well managed and well run. Superb!

My experiences have been amazing.
I’ve had work with Sangita Mitra. She was incredibly professional helpful and externally kind and I’ve walked away with her knowledge on becoming a better version of myself.
This time last year I wouldn’t of imagined myself to be the woman I’ve become today without the help and support from Sangita.
